MVP Sports Deli & Eatery

I’ve been here 6 times so far and each time I’ve had six different sandwiches. I do not have enough words to describe the subs. all I can say is drooling like Homer Simpson.lol. don’t waste your time at Subway, at MVP the money is well worth it.

This deli is new to the block! It is situated right between Namaste and Ichiban on Tudor. The inside is clearly cared for and very clean. The walls are decorated with framed newspapers screaming historical sports headlined moments. The owner is from Chicago and brought what he loved from there — to here! His sandwiches are packed with flavorful meats; from Genoa salami to moist sliced turkey or ham. He adds the meat and you take that open faced baby to the island in the middle of the room to add your own fresh veggies and sauce. This deli is a sports enthusiasts dream. There is a big screen TV that was airing… FOOTBALL, of course. He is a Bears fan and keeps a flag to show his loyalty behind the counter on the wall. Oh, and did I mention the customer service is great– cause it is! Visit on your lunch, bring a friend and appreciate a sandwich made fresh. No need to love sports to appreciate a sandwich.
*HIGHLIGHTS: Fresh veggies, lots of delicious filling sandwich meats and superb customer service. Bonus: Football is playing right in front of the tables!

MVP is all that and then some! Let start by saying that from the time you walk in the door you feel welcomed. Kevin and Genna are so down to earth people. As far as the sandwiches, I recommend the Superbowl which is my favorite. I could only eat half that night because it was as big as a football! And you put whatever fixture you want on your sandwich not subway… did I mention subway, so sorry because they can’t hold a match up to MVP. Also, the place is very clean. The only problem I have with the place is that Kevin is a avid Chicago fan, he’ll see the light one day, LOL! Keep making those award winning sandwiches and I may overlook that slight short coming! MVP deserves an MVP!

Just moved to the area, and let me just say, Subway who??? Fresh Ingredients, Fresh Cut meats, like you know from the deli.lol. Reasonable prices, awesome customer service Kevin and Genna always smiling and engages with the customers. My favorite right now is number 10(1^st Down) Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef and Baconnnn mmmmm. If you are looking for a good hearty sub, MVP Sports Deli is where it’s at. Will be back soon.
