Called in an order to go. You would think it was as simple as looking at the menu on the site! Nope!!! Get here to pick it up and I get a kids meal instead of the 6 chicken tenders that is labeled in the appetizer menu! Then I was told who seemed to be «the manager» that the menu always changes and they don’t have chicken tenders as an appetizer anymore and that the menu always changes and they can’t keep up with it on the site! Total bullshit!!!

Seating a group of 14 for breakfast is a challenge anywhere. Mimi’s did a great job. Food arrived hot and as ordered from our server who never lost her smile. The bran muffins were to die for.

Our family came here for breakfast. The service was excellent. We received seats quickly and our food promptly. Food was great with a huge breakfast selection. Definitely recommend the mimosas and crepes! Our family left full and happy. Definitely recommend and would come here again!

Handy location by our accomodation. Great service and great food. So much choice. And large portion sizes. Have been multiple times now on this trip.

I decided it’d be a great idea to take my husband out for lunch at Mimi’s since he’s never been. We have one back in Modesto, and it was my favorite breakfast places! It wasn’t busy at all around 3PM on a Saturday, and we were even seated right away! However, it took over a half hour to even get a cup of water! I guess hanging around the kitchen area was more important? The food was delicious, just took too long. I am willing to give this place another chance, just because we were too late for breakfast, and I’d love for my husband to try it. My advice to the staff, be more focused on the customers instead of hanging out in the kitchen, especially when it’s not busy.

Walking into Mimis was like walking into any other establishment in Anaheim. HUGEQUEUE. Since I was a single diner, the hostess offered me a seat at the empty bar. When I looked around, most of the restaurant was empty… but the waiting area was full. I’m assuming a server or two called in sick, so instead of poor service, the restaurant chose to keep the patrons in the lobby? The picture of the mushroom bacon brie omelet looked amazing in the menu. Those are my three favorite foods! However, it was the blandest, worst omelets I’ve ever had. When the chef came out and set it on my table, he had the biggest smile on his face. It’s just an omelet dude. The mimosa was good, not great. The bartender really pushed the fact it was only $ 5 on special. He steered me away from a bloody Mary. Looking back, I regret this decision.

Service is quick and friendly, and food is always tasty. BUT keep in mind that this location is across the street from Disneyland. It’s usually full of tourists and their loud, unruly children.

The food here was absolutely amazing. After a long day of traveling around Disneyland it hit the spot! The service was 10⁄10! The devilled egg platter was a great start to the meal. My gf had pasta and I had a burger. The portion sizes were massive! We had to take some home. I will be coming here again the next time I visit Anaheim!

I’ve eaten here twice this vacation. The first time was at dinner, a little late in the day and our kids were both exhausted. We sat down and immediately ordered two mac n cheese and the food came super duper fast which was great because our kids were loosing it and only faces stuffed with Mac n cheese are truly quiet. After 5 mins of munching we got a chance to order — I got the spinach and salmon salad and my husband ordered a savory crêpe. We were both happy with our meals mine was really light on the dressing which I liked and we were out of there for only around $ 45 for a 4 person family — not bad! French onion soup highly recommended. The second time was breakfast, which was ok but not anything to write home about and I would try somewhere else next time. Wait staff was busier and our waitress had to be reminded a couple times to get refills on coffee etc

Mimi’s has been consistently good, up to this point, but my «medium rare«steak was pretty well done, and I was charged $ 1 to substitute green beans instead of fries. My favorite part of our meal, and the reason I still gave 3 stars is the strawberry shortcake crepes. They were delish!

You have to visit this particular Mimi’s, which is so close to Disneyland. The food is excellent and the prices unbelievably low for all you get: the atmosphere, the food, and excellent servers like Nick and Cirse. The reception desk has outstanding professionals like David and Anthony who greet you with a smile and take you to your table, and, while you wait for your favorite server, they stay around to make sure that you have your beverages and a basket with appetizing bread in no time. Great job, guys! Thank you, Nick, Cirse, Anthony, and David for the great dining experience we always experience at Mimi’s.

I came for Sunday Brunch and there were both positive and negative things aspects of our meal. The Positive — I ordered a Mango Mimosa and really liked it. I would even say that it was the best mimosa I’ve had. So big kudos for that! I also ordered the Hash Eggs Benedict with seasoned potatoes and toast. The eggs and hash were good. The Negative — It was fairly busy but it took over an hour to get our food. Personally, I didn’t mind that much because I was distracted with the mimosas and being with friends. However, that wait is excessively long. Additionally, my seasoned potatoes were either under-cooked or overcooked. They were either charred and crispy or cold and crunchy. So overall, I was tipsy by the end of our brunch and so I was numb to the super long wait for our food and the bipolar potatoes. The mimosas, hash, and eggs benedict were really good and so for me, that’s whats keeping the review at an «OK.»

Nice décor, great tasting food, friendly service. Complimentary bread & butter and also complimentary banana nut Madelines(muffin tops?). I was in the area with a friend and decided this place because I haven’t been to one since I was a 7 years old and it’s where old white people go(friend is white). The artichoke dip appetizer($ 9) was a perfect and got me pretty full; I’d go for them again the next visit. I had the chicken crêpes($ 12) for the entrée, which came with gravy for it. You can ask for more free bread and madelines, so this place isn’t so pricey if you’re trying to get full.

Well… This place has it made, it’s right outside Disney and is the only place for a breakfast if you want something different from the Dennys and IHOP fare. The inside is super cool, with a décor of being in a French countryside restaurant. The food is also very good and you can tell they take pride in the presentation… Now the bad part… The Damn wait… Omg, it took 30 min… For eggs!!! They did apologize for the wait, stating a back up in the kitchen, but tough. Not my problem. I dont feel like I should miss my Disneyland time to wait for eggs.

Came here at 1130am on a Sunday during Valentine. I was expecting a longer wait for a table but not complaining at all that we were seated in 10 – 15 mins. My girlfriend and I were really hungry so we ordered 3 items lol white egg veggie omelette, smoked salmon eggs benedict, and turkey bacon mushroom brie crepes. Everything was delicious! To top all of the food we had a blue berry muffin and OMG it was AMAZING! I recommend everyone to try this. Can’t wait to try their other muffins next time.

We wanted to grab breakfast before a long day at California Adventure and before my boyfriend had to return back home, and this was super close. Being RIGHT outside of the parks I expected crazy long wait times but we sat down right away. Our waitress was nice, but she talked a mile a minute. Could hardly understand her and she stressed me out. Food: — Fresh baked blueberry muffins: GREAT. They are made from a pancake mix, I think, so they’re super crumbly and just sooo good. They come with butter… Use it, trust me. — Corned Beef Hash & Eggs: Their corned beef hash is the best that I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Crispy, the right amount of salt, and just reallyyyy spot on. The eggs came nice and cheesy like I wanted as well! — Iced Mocha: Very pretty presentation and tastes great. If you don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for breakfast in the park or at Downtown Disney, definitely hit up Mimi’s.

This place is a chain but this location is superb! If you are thinking of holding an event there… do it!!! My sister threw me a baby shower there this Saturday afternoon and the staff there made sure we had an amazing event! For our large party we had the winery room which gave us our private event space(and through the patio, our own entrance as well). My sister informed me she was a little late setting up and the servers helped her with set up(including a beautiful dessert bar which my sister supplied) without any trouble. Once people started arriving, they greeted everyone with a smile but didn’t hover over us. They served drinks to everyone who sat down and kept them refilled throughout the event with a smile. The food came out in a timely fashion and everyone was served at relatively the same time. They had just the right amount of staff to keep the event running smoothly. Everyone enjoyed the food — especially the chicken parmigiana dish and the salmon dish. The servers checked on the guest throughout the meal to make sure everyone had everything they needed. This place just went above beyond the call of duty and we were truly impressed. I opened my presents there and they provided us with a trash bag without even being asked. They helped clean up the party decorations after us and even provided us with some extra boxes to take our food home. Honestly, I’ve been to a few mimi’s and a lot of events at restaurants and haven’t had anyone cater to a large group they way they did. I hope their corporate office takes note — whoever is running this place has the right idea(great preparation and wonderful staff)!! Thank you for helping us have a great and memorable event!

It is conveniently located right to our hotel and that is the only reason why I give this place more than 2 stars. Quality and taste of food is as expected for a chain restaurant and I also think the opinion about taste will vary based on personal preference. We were just thankful that there was a different option to the bistro in our hotel and McDonalds. What lacks or needs improvement is service. Once I called for our togo order as it didn’t go through online and the website suggested to call the restaurant and verify whether my order went through or not. When I called and explained the situation the person I spoke to immediately told me that she would check with the kitchen and see if my order went through. After waiting about 5 – 10 min. she picks up the phone and asks me: «Hello this is Mimi’s café! How can I help you! I was surprised and explained again my situation and what she was about to do for me. Her response was short and snappy and just said I have to repeat my order over the phone.(Really…) Couldn’t just told me right away or at least apologize and tell me in a more nicer way I have to repeat my order. Then when I order something from the kids menu I opted out for drinks and she tells me that I HAVETOCHOSE A DRINK as it comes with it. AREYOUKIDDINGME?! That was just bad… but sadly I had to give them our business again as there are no good options for breakfast there. This time when I came to pick up. ¾ of my order was ready and one item came 10 min. later. So unorganized! By the time I came back to our hotel room most of the food was cold beside the one item that came later. Hopefully, Panera Bread opens soon and more restaurant for this location as it is definitely not worth paying $$ to come to Mimi’s café!

Service was wonderful and our server was super kind and attentive! She was very enthusiastic, sweet and very helpful with the menu. The carrot-raisin muffins are to die for! They’re fresh and the muffins just crumple in your mouth. This is one of the items that you must try! There is a seasonal pumpkin spice muffin as well. It’s not as good as the carrot-raisin muffin, but it’s worth a try since its seasonal. My boyfriend had be omelette, which was pretty good. I had the turkey brie savory crêpe for breakfast, which is super good! If you love Brie, you’ll love this! Their potatoes are seasoned and super tasty! I didn’t get a chance to try the desserts, but they did have a delicious-looking selection of crêpe cakes! Minus one star because it took 30 minutes or more for our food to come out Friday morning. Otherwise, I’d come back again just for their muffins!

Atmosphere: Casual, chain restaurant, tons of seating, banquet room available as well as outside seating. Ordered Items: Sausage crepes. Potato benedict and Bacon Avocado omelet. I DONOTLIKECHAINS… With saying this I hated my potato benedict, it was gross. The eggs were overcooked, the potato patty wasn’t cooked enough, and the hollandaise sauce was super milky. This dish was served with mini potatoes, which were also gross, wayyyy too much rosemary seasoning on them. The sausage crepes were ok, nothing to go write about, so I won’t. The bacon avocado omelet was cool. I mean I think it’s impossible to mess up an omelet, but what do I know. Also the staff was nice, overly nice actually, they probably walked to our table and asked how we were doing more times than 10. Also sad our waitress didn’t want to share any croissants with us.
