This restaurant does not even deserve a single star, I wish I could give negative stars the place would deserve a negative 3 star review. 1. The Service was the worse I have ever seen. The Server seems to ignore us, since part of our party was white and the other Hispanic. . She would not talk to the not Hispanic persons’ Served everyone else in the place — two table total, before retuning to our party Proceeded to pick her nose, with the long fingernails then pick up the food and serve us Hair in he food Did not come back to see if we need anything like forks or spoons, we did not gave More interested on Hit on ever Hispanic man in the place, than doing her job Acted disturbed when we asked for forks and spoons Allowed vendor of flowers and other item to annoy us. 2. The food –How do you describe the poor quality We should have left at the free chips– burns, and stale Beef was so tough and Stringy that you had to have a very sharp knife to cut it. Then could not chew it Chicken was over cooked and tasted OLD the«Fresh» Sea Food stunk so bad you could smell it across the table Food was bland for a Mexican place 3. Prices was out of line for the quality of the food. 4. I would recommend that the Health Department inspect the place. 5. If I owned the place — I could come in and take a close look at it We left most of the food on the table, un-eatable, and wondered if we were going to get food poisoning that night. Thank god not. If you want to drink beer and sing Karaōke, the place would be passable. If you want to eat– I would say NO Summary = You want to eat and you have this place and Taco Bell, go to Taco Bell

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is terrible… TERRIBLE! The waitress ignored my family in attempts to flirt with my Latino husband. We ordered our drinks but before we received them she sat a table of Latino gentlemen and fully served them before returning with our drink order. Accepting flowers and gifts someone was selling first. Could not be bothered to take our food order before once again making sure the gentlemen had all the beers they needed. Waited over an hour for the food at which point I witnessed the waitress scratch at her teeth with her claws before promptly going to the kitchen to bring out food to a table with not enough time in between to wash her hands. When we finally did receive our food everything was burned to a crisp and inedible. The rice tasted of alkaline and there was hair on my daughters. She took her plate and didn’t return with a replacement or even offer one until I mentioned that my daughter was still hungry. When I asked for the overpriced check she said she would get it but not before first ignoring it to talk to what I assume was another employee or friend and then seating another table of Latinos and making sure they had chips and drinks. The music was so loud we couldn’t even talk to each other even yelling to each other. It seemed as though the waitress couldn’t be bothered with us. There were only 4 tables in the place! Maybe cause only my husband and kids are Latino but not me. For 3 «meals» one appetizer one kids meal and 2 cans of soda and 2 horchatas the tab was $ 82. I’m a server and I generally am over understanding of the plights of servers this waitress was the WORST I have ever witnessed in the industry. The food TERRIBLE the service TERRIBLE and I’m considering calling the health department after witnessing her actions in regards to hygiene. Don’t waste your time effort or money total waste of space. Try Zankou down the way much much MUCH better place!

This place is ridiculous. Overpiced: Average plate is about $ 15 and they’re all small. Touchtunes music is way too loud, service is extremely slow(altho friendly) and they charge $ 1.50 for credit/debit cards. Food was average. We ordered the chicken fajitas and carne asada plates.

Service was bad. They had a DJ with a karaōke machine that had the volume too loud where the waitress could bearly hear me. and I could bearly hear myself think. order my food to go instead. had the garlic shrimp plate the shrimp bearly had a hint of garlic while the rice had no flavor at all. Also at the time of charge for 3 sodas & shrimp plate, the cashier told me it was going to be $ 42. I had to argue my bill too. if you don’t mind extremely loud music while you wait for someone to finally take your order of a plate of food with no flavor then try El Encanto

The tostadas de ceviche were good .The only bummer for my friends was they lost there beer license so no beers for them. The second down fall was there bathroom, When i went to use it they had a hand full of roaches… lost my appetite so i definitely didnt finish my tostada because if there bathroom was infested with roaches i don’t wanna even imagine there kitchen.

Review is based on food ONLY! I had steak tacos and a shrimp ceviche(cured in lime juice) both were pretty safe and tasty. Will I go back? Sure, why not. Place was clean people seemed friendly. I was there on a Thursday around 3pm nobody was dinning. I liked the menu options seemed a bit pricey but good mariscos are hard to find in Anaheim. This order was a TAKEOUT: p

Its been a really long time since I’ve had such a amazing Mexican breakfast. When we sat down I thought not the nicest interior but when the salsa came, it blew me away. When you start with an amazing flavorful salsa you know your going have a great meal ahead. The owners grow there own chilies, enough said. The best homemade tortillas, besides mine :)…

This place needs major work. The food was«blah». I had a fajita plate. The food was nothing«amazing». We had a party of about 8 adults, 3 kids. The service was terrible. My little girl had to wait close to 40min for her kids meal. Asked for avocado and they were out? I had to get up, walk to the servicing area twice to remind the server of parts of our order. Someone else in my party had to also do the same. WE had to remove our own plates from our table, and where did we put them? On a clean table that was next to us. Don’t come here on a «busy» night. Chances are, you won’t be attended in a good manner. Either that, or they’re not used to having a full house. The only thing that made this experience a good one, was family. **This is MY experience. Yours may/may not differ**

Just got back from a 2 hour lunch here with my grandma. The food was good, but the rest needs work. Arrived and took a table, the waitress came over to bring chips and salsa, then came back to get a drink order. They don’t have Iced Tea, so we asked for 2 waters with Lemon. She came back with 2 bottles of water and cups of ice. Ok, I figured that is how they do it. We also decided to order 2 Corona’s. We weren’t ready to order right away, but my telling her we needed a few minutes turned into 15 – 20 minutes. Looking at them menu, my Grandma is decided on the #4, which is a combo with a Chile Relleno and an Enchilada. I decide that I want a grilled shrimp burrito, which is not on the menu, but they have all the ingredients, and have other burritos on the menu, I just want shrimp instead. Here is where I need to mention that the watiress does not speak a lick of English. I point out the Burritos and say I want a Camarones Burrito, showing her the Grilled Shrimp on the menu and say that I want that, but as a burrito. The owner comes by around this time to see how we’re doing and helps her take the order. So, a #4 and a Grilled Shrimp Burrito. I ask him if they have black beans, he says yes, I say ok, and I want vegetables in it too. I say this in Spanglish to the waitress as well, the owner confirms it with her in Spanish. Our food arrives. My Grilled Shrimp Burrito is almost perfect, but it has refried beans instead of black beans, which I decide to ignore and be happy with what I got, I was not going to make them toss out the whole thing and do it over. But refried beans are soooo fattening, so I was not thrilled. However, the non-special order, the plain old #4…Grandma gets the Grilled Shrimp Platter. Major case of Lost in Translation. Although I thought we’d be ok since the English speaking owner came over to help with the ordering process. And my special order, I thought, was bound to be the thing that was messed up. But she didn’t get what she ordered. She was kind of saying how she’d be ok with it, but the deal is this: my Grandma is in an Assisted Living facility, and does not get to get out much. I want her trips out to be good, and seeing as how she gets cafeteria-esque food at the home, when I take her to lunch, I want her to get what she wants. I let her order a beer, whatever. It ends up that she says she’s ok with the shrimp, but realllly wanted a Chile Relleno. So, I see the watiress talking to the cook, I think they were about to make a whole plate of the #4 for her, again, I could not communicate with her well when I told her the order was wrong. The cook speaks more English, so I told her my Grandma would keep the Sprimp plate, but can they just make her an a la carte Chile Relleno? She says no problem, and I sit back down. Chile Relleno comes, Grandma is happy. We visit, the food is good, things are fine. Lots of time passes… we are visiting, so like I said, not a huge deal, but if I was on a lunch break or something it would be a problem. Very slow, and I think the watiress was afraid of us because she couldn’t speak English, we can’t speak Spanish, already the order was F’d up, so she stayed away. When she did come to take the plates, I asked for the check… then again 10 minutes later. We get the check, at $ 38.05. We’ve got 3 Coronas, my Grilled Shrimp Burrito, the Grilled Shrimp platter, an a la carte Chile Relleno, and 2 bottled waters. My issues are these: — Did not order bottled water. We ordered water. I never order bottles of water at restaurants, I think it’s a rip-off. She just brought them. Could be the language barrier, could be that it’s easy to pad the check of English speaking patrons since most will just say«whatever» and pay. The water bottles were only $ 1, but that’s not the point. — They totally screwed up the order, which we were nice enough to keep and pay for(it was $ 3 more for the shrimp platter than the #4 that hse ordered, but I wasn’t going to take issue with that, as she kept it and ate it) but then charged us for the Chile Relleno, which was supposed to be on the plate my Grandma actually ordered, plus we would not have had to order it a la carte if they’d not screwed up our order. It should have been on the house. I FINALLY get the waitress back and ask her to send thw owner back over. The cook comes out after a minute or 2, I explain the above issues, and she seemed like she was already not pleased that the Chile Relleno showed up on the bill, she got what was going on and was quite accomodating. I also found this place in the Entertainment book, and had a coupon for 2-for-1 lunch, so i handed that over and the owner came back with the bill. $ 23.11 for the 3 beers, & the shrimp platter. My meal was taken off, as were the waters and the Chile Relleno. 2 stars for the food, plus a star for not arguing with me over fixing the bill. I am not sure I’ll be back. Maybe.
