I think this place is necessary. It’s one stop shopping. They have much to improve on. The lines and check out system is ridiculous. But, over all it’s a time saver because you can almost always depend on them having what you need. So, I wish it wasn’t necessary but they do serve a purpose.

Too bad you can’t choose less than one star. I did an in-store pickup here. When I got home I found that they gave me an open box item with the driver CD missing and the wrong motherboard inside the box. So I drive back(that’s an hour drive), and they won’t help me. They say that the board was correct and what I brought back was not in the box. They won’t take it back or give me a refund.

What kind of warranty program makes you wait so long for fixing a laptop and just telling me I have to pay extra money for that and didn’t even fixed!!! Stop wasting people’a time . Hate it when company like this make me so unconfortable with their bad service. I paid 299 for warranty and I get nothing done waiting month or so?

I come here for the product and not the customer service which is one of the worst I’ve seen. The employees here seem miserable and unhappy with their jobs. I suggest looking to a Best Buy nearby instead as if you’re looking for something really specific then the employees here will not be able to assist you.

Totally downgrading to 2 stars. Went for an immediate need for a new laptop at 8pm on a Tuesday. Checked online and found the one we wanted — which clearly stated online that it was available in the store. Turns out it hasn’t been available for several months. We look around, try to find something comparable. We finally land on an alternative, of which they have 3 different model in various configuration on display. Well guess what — they don’t have ANY in stock! But they are glad to display them! So frustrating as we were playing with the the one we picked out for about 5 minutes before anyone told us it wasn’t available. Overall, what a joke. You won’t believe this, but we went to Walmart @ 9pm and an hour later walked out with a better laptop than we were going to buy at Fry’s at a less expensive price. Fry’s is still good for parts, as long as you don’t need any customer service or high end items. I’ve also noticed it’s turned into a As Seen On TV store.

This store is going down the road. It should be the busiest hour and day and not many people come to shop here anymore as used to. I needed a help to buy the right cash register so I talked to one of the associate. He didn’t have the product knowledge so he called someone on the floor who was in charge. I waited 15min for the other associate and the person never showed up. I ended up Google searching it on my own. Bad store. I do not recommend.

Went in yesterday in over years and thought it was fairly nice but ine I got talking to the employees or needed help I said«ahh no wonder people go to best buy». So thats where I continue to go. Very few people for a weekend and lots of employees. Not much of help. good luck to them. Frys employees tend to not understand that well lol. But if your looking to buy your lady some purfume or even get yourself a $ 5 cologne this is the place. After reading more reviews l had to return and edit mine. I agree lol yeah, these guys are idiots.

I wanted to purchase the Sony PS4 and this Fry’s was the only location that had the bundle I wanted available for store pickup. I placed my order online and immediately got an email saying I would receive another email within 20min to confirm that the item was available. 4 hours go by and I never get an email. So I went by the store and it turns out they were in stock which was irritating but not a big deal. After the sales guys bring my ps4 they try to pressure me into buying the warranty. Initially I said yes but my friend told me that they already come with a warranty so the Fry’s warranty wasn’t worth buying. I get to the cashier and let her know that I’m no longer interested in the warranty. She then says she can’t ring me up because the order form from the sales guy had the warranty on it. So now she has to go get him. Again, irritating but not a big deal. So then he comes to the register and I let him know that I changed mind about the warranty to which he replies«why, is it because you can’t afford it?» I can deal with the the messy store, inattentive employees and Internet fuckery but the level of disrespect I was shown was far too much. So I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

Well, since this is probably the last existing computer store to shop at, I guess it deserves 4 stars… that is as long as you know what you are looking for! I find it easier lately to purchase items online and have ready for pick-up they have gotten a lot better at this, so orders are usually filled quickly (in past, they would sometimes take hours and even then sometimes show out of stock!) bought a few USB flash drives and Bluetooth pieces… needed some belated Christmas«floaters»…just to have in case you need, if not, I can always use store was actually pretty empty considering this was day after Christmas I had expected a long line, especially in the return area, but got lucky was able to get few items that I wanted in addition to the online order I placed on Christmas day… in and out of store in about 15mins, NICE!

Fry’s is like what would happen if Best Buy and Radio Shack had sex while doing acid. Seriously, this place is off the chain! I can window shop for days here and have all kinds of fantasies about what I would do with this and how I would fix that. My cousin loves this place and comes here frequently and I always enjoy just milling around looking at stuff while she goes about her business.

Updating this review for a very good reason. First off, As I was visiting this store last Saturday night with my brother-in-law, We noticed their shelves in some area are still disorganized. Then as my brother-in-law picked up 2HDMI cables, A salesperson popped up and told us «let me get a quote for you» and print out the quote for us to show it to cashier so he could get his commission. Small problem, he didn’t even sell us the product and even worse, he didn’t even greet us. Well guess what… we didn’t even bother showing the quote to cashier. So, no commission for you. Second… this one really made me so furious. 2 little boys were playing around on those office chairs and they almost ran me over. I was like what the … and I wish I could say that 4 letter word in a Unilocal review. This is not a playground. Where’s their parents btw? They’re obviously aren’t watching them at all. Completely unacceptable behavior. Oh, and this is a safety violation. Third, this one is for me… I decided to get a new video card for my computer(ASUS GeForce GTX970 Turbo) replacing my Radeon HD6870. So far, I’m happy with my purchase. And as I was checking out, cashier Michael was very nice and very knowledgeable with the computer stuff. Overall: 2 stars for being happy with the purchase and cashiers doing their job right. This store is not getting anymore stars for various reasons… shelves being disorganized, salespersons not doing their job, and those kids playing around on their chairs like this is a playground.

**Anaheim** It’s Fry’s. What can I say? I don’t like big places but I needed a USB stick and I was at CSUF, did not know where else to go, so I came here. I hate walking so far if I don’t have to. This store is too big! I give it 3 stars because I’ve been to other locations that has a place to grab some food/drinks, and this location does not have that. And it’s hard to find someone I could ask questions. Eventually I found someone. I am guessing they get paid on commission because every time I buy something at Fry’s, they always want to give me a paper. Many times they haven’t even helped me but see me carrying an item and ask me if I have questions and then say they want to give me the paper for it. Whatever. So I bought my thumb drive or whatever you call it. A really rugged one! Nothing can destroy that baby! Hopefully I never have to come back to this store again. Thanks for reading! ~*Kenzie*~
