Cougar Camp is now being demolished. I came here once, got free drinks, and never came back. This place was a legend. It was a place for women to relive their high school years. It was a true time machine and even another dimension where the 70’s and 80’s could be relived. I was never a fan. Alas, you were a joy for many and I will miss you. Farwell to you, Cougar camp!

Well good this place is closing. The leople that came were senior citizens. It was a boring atmosphere to tonight. 40 for VIP is too much. There is a difference between a cougar bar and a social security bar. The people were ride tonight and felt they owned the place. i own them.

If I could give it zero stars I would… I’m so happy this place is being forced to close! Went there last night and got in the very slow moving line about 9PM… At 10PM(still in line) the cover charge doubled(from $ 10 to $ 20) however the bouncers and security were walking down the line and announcing if anyone wanted to «skip the line they could pay $ 40 «VIP» So it was too crowded for us(Who had been standing in line for over an hour) to get in, but not too crowded for the people who wanted to pay $ 40? #greedy After about two hours we were finally 10 people from the front of the line but the smell that was permeating out the door was too much… We ended up leaving.

Foxfire… A name that will forever live in Orange County infamy. We have all heard of this OC nightclub and it’s 30 plus years worth of matured beauties and the 20-something-year-old men who love them. Not to mention what happens at the nearby hotels after bar close. This is the bar/restaurant that brought Anaheim the terms of the different classes of «experienced»(divorced) women looking for young men such as «Puma»(ages 30 – 39) «Cougar»(ages 40 – 49) and, of course, the«Jaguar» league(ages 50+). Oh — and the Foxfire set is also very aggressive; their rivals at The Quiet Woman, Mastro’s Ocean Club, and Gulfstream seem like aloof private high school sophomores in comparison. Yes, they do offer a full service restaurant but we both know of not a single person that actually ate here. I am certain food was always an afterthought. Truth be told, I have had exactly 2 beers here in my lifetime and although it was never my scene I can think of countless co-workers that would go on biweekly«safari» to «catch a cat». Those stories are still legendary, even today. All of the rumors that have been around for over 6 months have finally become reality and the Foxfire era is coming to a close on February 1st, 2016 for reasons that are still not entirely clear. Sorry hipster/facebook/entitlement generation, you again were a victim to market forces and impeccably poor timing. I would imagine someone will eventually relight the torch at some point soon. Orange County, let us all pour some out in memory of The Foxfire on Sunday night.

The band are ok too poor, there are lot cougars looking for boys young enough to be there sons, asian women looking for white guys with money, regadless of what they look like, way more guys than women. many patrons dressed poorly

Cougars and Man-whore’s and Bitches, oh my! Heard the fire is going out on this Fox-house. This place was definitely a guilty pleasure for the single life. One of the last remaining place where over 40 can feel young again. A people watcher place where the parade of modern, eccentric and locals listened to live music together and danced the night away. I hope that the owners will remodel or find a new more upscale venue to suit the higher end patrons. The end of an era has finally come. It’s time for something even better.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The food and drinks were good! My waitress was friendly and fast but the crowd was unexpectedly weird lol I don’t know if I would go back anytime soon. There was a lady on the dancing floor that I swear she came from The Flintstones movie…

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Not only is this place full of weird old creepers, but if you’re not a regular patron of this place, the staff treats you like you’re lower than shit. My friends and I were here to have some drinks and just hang out, and we got kicked out of our spot at the bar because a regular customer of theirs wanted to sit there. Basically, we questioned why we were getting kicked out of our spot. The manager literally stated that he’s a regular patron, and doesn’t want to lose his business. so because we asked them a question like civilized human beings, we got thrown out. They discriminate and they’re racist. if you’re not a regular or you don’t have a lot of money, don’t expect good service from this place.

I came here for a Paint Nite event. We were in a banquet room so I didn’t see the entire restaurant and we didn’t really have any meals. My date and I ordered drinks and chili limon fries to share as we painted. The drink was lacking alcohol. the fries were decent… not quite as chili limon flavored as I would have liked. Service was meh…

I would really like to like this place. They have a good crowd, a couple of pool tables and a nice dance floor. The band was talented, actually, although there was a heavy track they played behind the instruments they played. So, idk. But, the music made me feel really uncomfortable. I understand«retro», but this was just wrong. They play songs from the 90’s that — no way around this — are just terrible. And beyond overplayed… To be fair, they did play one song within this decade — stanky leg. Are you kidding me???(Face palm.) Get some new music!!!

This place was not bad. It was a little creepy when my friend and I walked in and there was no one around. Its kind of dark and old fashioned. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced and the bartender/waitress we had was very helpful and made good drinks. We came for paint nite and I would definitely go there again for that reason.

Overall I gave three stars. If I based it on the food alone it would get a higher rating. But I was there last Thursday for paint nite. And we arrived at about 5:30 pm. It was hard to find staff when we walked in. Their hours on Unilocal said they opened at 3. But it seemed like they were still setting up. No one was by the door to greet us and direct us. We sort of had to wonder around the place to find someone. But once we got settled in the food was great and the paint nite although a really small group was a blast. I had a chicken sandwich and my friend a grilled cheese. The wine was good and the waitress was very friendly.

This place is a restaurant & bar, my review is for the bar & bar menu. And i call it a club because theres a pretty big dance floor & at 8pm they start charging $ 10 so to me thats a club. Ok went here for the first about 4 weeks ago with a friend who had gone the week b4 and she really liked it. We had a blast, parking is plentiful, staff are polite and professional. The bands play great music. The patrons are DABOMB, they dance all night long. We came again last night had 2 bday girls in our party, we danced the night away. All my visits have been Saturdays. Now for the breakdown: 1. I didnt find out until after i went the first time, this place is a known cougar club, its actually on a cougar site. So this explained some of the women we trying to figure out. But to each his own none of my business do yo thang. 2. My friend said the band that was there the week b4 was better, they played more hip hop. I like, listen and can dance to all music so the bands that were there on the nights i went was perfect, i like a mix of music. They alternate all night between a live band & recorded club music like Cupid shuffle etc for your group dancing. I just noticed last night that theres another side with a jukebox stocked with a wide variety of music. 3. This place is n Anaheim Hills so black folks are scarce, but we have felt right at home and welcome by patrons and staff, never uncomfortable. The crowd and ages are mixed some of everybody. My daughters that went last night are 26 and 24 and they loved it 4. Food is soooo good and priced well. We have sat at the back bar everytime we’ve come and the waitress back there is on her game, she constantly comes back and forth, u dont have to search for her and ive never had to go to the bar 5. Drinks actually have alcohol in them so u will be good and buzzed, but are not made with the correct ingredients. My fav drink is rum punch and they said they never heard of it WTH. They have 2 huge bars, pool tables and tvs for your sports viewing 6. Large outdoor area for smoking and just getting some air or a break from the loud inside music and screaming trying to have a conversation. 7. I notice some reviews talk about dresscode, the guys do have on collarded shirts but ive seen tennis shoes, sandals, and shorts. Some ppl really dress up like a club and some dont. They also have a karoke night and a painting while drinking night, which my daughter has done somewhere else and said it was really fun. If u like to dance or just hangout and have a drink u should try it

Terrible service. I called ahead to ask if they were still open and told that they were and when we arrived 15minutes after the call the staff were rude and non responsive. Next time if someone calls ahead tell your customer you are no longer seating after a certain hour instead of wasting other people’s time. The club bouncer we asked questions was completely rude and non responsive. He’s a bouncer for a club with middle aged white collar folks in an affluent suburb, you can drop the bad attitude it’s not DTLA!

Say what you like but if you want a sizeable dance floor with a band that can actually play and sing then regardless of the age this place has it. Yes, the grandmas and cougars are there as well are the slugs and cubs. Try to find another place in the OC that offers a sizeable dance floor and something other than country music to dance to, freeway close and sizeable outdoor patio to cool down. I will be going back and leaving alone :)

New update… after having a few issues with fox fire and speaking to management I just want to say I dont have anything negative to say. They are really working hard to give it a fresh face on all levels by hosting paint night, and many other promotional events which seems exciting. Check their face book page for pics and more info They are RE-OPENING the resturant… YEA !!! They are making these changes now which is great Iam very excited for the future of foxy. They are working on the decore busy fixing and making the appearence nicer too. the patio is a romantic setting with heaters and little white twinkling lights. very tre-chic! The banquet rooms are so pretty just perfect for your special event. they are bringing better bands too! Security has been im proved… to get rid of any riff raff. changes take time but they are on the path to implement all these new things. to bring a new and improved expierence and atmosphere. I was there last night and saw for myself just how hard they are working having spoken with manager michelle myself. ****.thank you michelle for taking the time to listen and care and value opinions of your patrons. I encourage ALL visitors to take any concerns you may have directly to the manager… and know she will listen and try to address those concerns. With all these new improvents on the way. it should be a great summer here at the fox. come check out for yourself. ENJOY! AND if you are a riff raff type of person stay away!!! The fox doesnt welcome you… foxy is for the Classy foxy people only!!!

This review is for the dance club, not the restaurant. I have never seen a place like this one; it could be the set of a cliqued movie because there’s no way some of these characters could be real, both women and men. Wow. Good to see women on the prowl I suppose, but not sure if being captured would be such a good thing. Definitely do not come here and have too much to drink, as impaired judgment could place you in a seriously compromised position and you might be chewed up and spit out prior to breakfast. Good luck to those seeking their true love or whatever; they might just find a companion. I never had a reason to come here and I’m glad I still don’t. But I guess its A-OK for many as the crowd was flocking. On a positive note, the women were polite and spoke to me, and were not all stuck up like you often find in a club. A lot of these people know each other, so it’s a generally friendly atmosphere. One thing’s for sure, their beer selection is dated and lame. Newcastle Brown and Sam Adams are the only serious beers. The drinks are generally overpriced, also. We ate some kind of chicken strip and fries plate and it was OK for bar food.

Yeah… Everything you heard about it is True! Which I why I’m a total fan! We had a great time checking out social psychology at it’s finest one Friday night. A $ 10 admission fee(aka cover) gets you in to the show, and what a show it is. Mature 50+ age set approaching less than their«half+7»: CHECK. Women of an age commanding respect wearing less clothes than I am: CHECK! Older lady at the bar in animal print, swaying a little, sweetly complaining about how the drinks are like water in this place: CHECK! The place is a little like a distant cousin’s wedding. Wall to wall people on the dance floor of all ages shaking their groove thang to one of those great bands that knows all the covers. It’s all very bad… like Michael Jackson BAD! Couple tips for my Unilocalmigos that want to check out the Foxfire: ***Men: make sure you wear a collared shirt. They have standards here… for some things ***If you see a table when you’re walking in, sit down! You likely won’t find another one as the night wears on because this place gets busy ***Moms and Grandmas of All Ages: I can’t even believe I’m typing this but PLEASE, please use good judgment about leaving your drink in the open to go dance or gallivant around! Putting a napkin over your glass, even with your straw going through it does not protect your drink from Roofies(rohypnol) and you never know what some of these guys might have in their pocket!
