Tried this place for the first time last night with a few friends and really enjoyed it! I love that it’s buffet style and the variety of seafood was awesome. The chef was so nice and our food came out tasting delicious, we were stuffed by the time we left lol. Our server was very attentive and made the experience that much better. Will definitely be coming back here soon!

Came here to celebrate my little sisters 16th bday and it was amazing! The staff was very helpful and the chefs were amazing! So many choices to choose from was probably the worst thing about this place(which is a great thing) because there’s so many different things you can make! Will definitely be back! Missing that cilantro lime dressing for my salad! Was the best one I’ve ever tasted hands down!

My first time having dinner on 1÷22÷16. I was clueless about this resturant but at least one of my coworkers was here before. The variety of this American style AYCE was new to me. You have different of items to choose from. You pretty much you pick your items, your taste is sauce, and you just bring them to the chef with a huge Teppanyaki style grill. They make your food in front of you. Dinner price is around $ 17.99… moderate price fit an AYCE resturant. I would love to comeback to fully try out this resturant. Lastnight, I was there 45 mins before it was final call on food. On top of that, we waited 45mins before we were seated.

As most reviews point out, Fire n Ice is a Mongolian BBQ style restaurant but with a wider variety of items and sauces, including Italian and Mexican sauces as well as burgers, hot dogs and Philly cheese steaks. *Salad bar: I had romaine lettuce, beets, corn, cucumber, shaved carrots, etc with a Cilantro lime dressing. Pretty standard. At the other section, you grab a silver bowl(there is a sign that says one bowl at a time but don’t underestimate it, I filled mine to the top and barely finished it) and put all the items you want them to cook for you: *Starch: Udon, fettucine, penne, fried rice… *Meats: Chicken, shaved beef, calamari… I heard Shrimp is only available for dinner *Add ons: zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms… * Sauces: Oriental sesame sauce, lime sauce, mango habanero… After a few minutes, everything gets cooked in front of you. My dish(maybe the combination of the sauces I picked) was okay, a bit oily. There was only one guy working really hard. I wish there were more… It’s AYCE so a lot of food for ~ $ 11(weekday lunch). It’s a clever idea and a good experience but nothing I must go back to…

Fire and Ice, it’s an all you can eat Mongolian style. The thing I like most about this restaurant is the uniqueness and the price is right for the amount of options one is provided with. The how to steps are pretty simple: — Go to the beginning of the line — Grab your empty bowl — Choose your veggies — Choose your pastas — Choose your meats — Choose your sauce but do not pour on top of your food just yet. — Bring your filled bowl to the chefs who are waiting to cook your food for you. — The average time for your food to be ready is less than 10 minutes, depending on amount of people waiting and how many chefs are cooking. There is a great variety of veggies, pastas, meats and sauces to choose from. The key is choosing what goes well with what. If you do this, I almost guarantee you’ll have a good experience.

Server: Rebecca She was an ok server. I wished she came more often to refill our drinks and take away our dirty plates, which we ended up just stacking on the side… I do not know if it was a manager or shift lead or whoever he was… he was dark haired, medium build, and had facial hair. He was very unpleasant… Did not accept the email coupon that I had for my birthday until we made a big deal about honoring it. I mean, thank you for taking it finally, but it was a case that could have been easily handled without all the commotion. It was my third time here. The first time, I was super excited and new to the experience so enjoyed it. The second time, it was for a birthday celebration and it was ok. This time, I did not enjoy it. It was not even busy, so there was not mush wait, but the food quality went down. The server did not even explain how to get and make our food and just expected us to read the info on the table and get on with it. I mean, Ive been there so I knew, but for my other two friends, it was their first time. This is probably why our food tasted nasty. Whatever we made, it did not work out. It tasted nasty and just not worth the money they charged per person.

Came here based on a recommendation from the receptionist in the hotel– mehhh… I’ve had better(especially since I’m from the bay area!) But I would come back if service was quicker/faster. The price is also $ 18 for AYCE at night.

One of the worst places to eat at the GardenWalk. The sauces are very few, only have garlic butter and some thick, yellow garlic/lemon sauce. Yucky! I’d rather go to the Brea Mall to the Mongolian BBQ in the food court than eat here again. We had our Christmas luncheon and we sat in the back. Tables were sticky and peeling. The floor in the back had broken tiles and corners/floor was dirty. The cooking area had silver bowls spread across the floor. The area below the cooking thing was filled with sauce cups, old burned food and the cook kept putting his spatulas in those areas… ugh! Someone needs to call the health inspector and quick! Save your money and go to Bubba Gumps or PF Chang’s. Much cleaner atmosphere.

Every time we come down to go to Disneyland, my daughter insists that we eat here for dinner! It’s part food preparation, part show and all good! They have a great selection of vegetables and meat and can even make hamburgers!

Not your traditional Mongolian barbecue. American style with several choices including a must have burger in meal. If your a fan, you will probably miss it on your first try. The picture shows your food is at the grill waiting for their turn to get cook. So, don’t add the sauces yet in your bowl unless you want yours dry.

Pretty cool place to watch your food cooked teppanyaki-ish and an all-you-can-eat too. The service could have been a little better– the cooks looked a little tired and overworked, but overall enjoyed their cooking and style. The food was okay quality, but when you consider the large variety of foods you can mix and create, the experience is pretty awesome. The way the buffet works is you grab a bowl and place all the ingredients you want cooked(pastas, stir fry, fried rice, and burgers). The pricing is also quite fair– $ 16 for Sunday Brunch Buffet(you also get some great pancakes and omelettes!) Would come back. Food and entertainment is a nice combo.

When I eat in California a lot of times I don’t think twice about it. It’s fun like«oh, they don’t have this restaurant in Hawaii I wanna try it,» but other than Tommy’s I forget about it once I’m back home. Fire+Ice on the other hand is definitely a place they should open up in Hawaii, they would bank for sure! For one, locals love buffets and two, locals love bars. Putting the two together plus the talented chefs with that centered hot grill that put on a show, we pay big money to see that at Tanaka of Tokyo or Benihana in Hawaii. The ingredient choices to make your own stir fry or basically any dish with meats, seafood, and veggies is extensive. Same goes for the sauces and spices you have to choose from. The salad bar is equally awesome, the potato salad and chicken pasta salad were pretty delicious considering they must need to make it in huge batches! I made a Szechuan sauce with garlic udon stir fry with mushrooms, tofu, bok choy, white onions, red peppers, broccoli & carrots. My second concoction was Fettucine with lots of salmon, mushrooms, spinach, garlic with pesto cream sauce. Next time I would have liked to try something with the sausages & Mexican ingredients!!! I wish my phone hasn’t died from using GPS all day, I would have taken more photos. The cheesecake below was taken with my mom’s phone. Which was sooooo super delicious! There is complimentary garlic bread and the happy hour beverage menu is awesome. I have to say all the workers are very friendly and accommodating. There was maybe one server that seemed a little off and not enjoying work but 1 out of 5 on the floor is a quota I can deal with! Please open one in Hawaii! :)

We came here while in Anaheim this last week. Fire and Ice is a cool Mongolian BBQ style place that you get all you can eat for $ 16.99. The dining experience is interactive and fun. We started with a salad from the salad bar then. You fill your own bowl consisting of whatever you like. **hot tip even thought its AYCE over fill the bowl or you will have a small finished portion** 1.First is the pasta, your choice of noodles include bowtie, fettuccine, udon, and fried noodle or fried rice, proteins, 2. vegetables everything from the garden you could want is there even sliced jalapenos. 3. next up are the protein choices, which include ground beef for burgers, sirloin, fajita steak, pork, salmon, tilapia, and cod shrimp and they had mussels too but me no likely mussels so i didn’t try then the even have hot dogs, a d all the meats you would put on a pizza which they will grille up for you too also they make a mean burger! 4.sauce and seasonings, There’s a wide variety of sauces(teriyaki, sesame oil, sweet and sour, and mango pepper as well as different spices and seasonings. this is cool you can mix and match flavor profiles to your hearts content. after yo have all your ingredients bring it to the cook in the middle of the room and the magic begins! Once the food is cooked perfect the chef adds what ever extra spices and sauces you put in the cups and serves you up in a hot minute i had tossed in a couple of butter garlic balls and spicy sauces. We had a great time watching the cooks work and seeing all the different concoctions people made. we went back for seconds and also came back the next night for more.

So what do you get when combine continued excellence in customer service with a darned nice atmosphere??? The answer is: A FIVESTARREVIEW!!! Dined at Fire + Ice(again) just yesterday upon my having been invited back out by a Corporate big wig(minus the wig), thanks Rafael, after his having taken notice of my previous review depicting my prior outstanding UYE experience. Bearing in mind that my b-day is this Friday(7⁄17) and my parents just celebrated their 20th anniversary a few days ago… not to mention my partner’s b-day rapidly approaching(7⁄23) and my brother-in-law recently celebrating his as well… I partitioned the entire family be present here at noon to have their entrée’s fried, flambee’d, sauteed and fricasseed! If you’ve read ANY of my previous reviews, you’ll know in advance that my family is NEVERRRONTIME!!! Neverrrrrrr! We’re talking the type of people to walk in hours late only to step into the casket at their own funerals, late. Since I/we(my partner and I) arrived a bit early, we had the pleasure of meeting with Raul, the G/M on shift at the time. What can I say? This guy is bionic!!! He greeted us promptly and waited on us personally! We were presented a table for 8 and reflecting once again on my family’s tardiness, enabled to watch Raul greet, serve, refill glasses, and bus tables all with absolute ease and without so much as breaking a sweat. He provided us with a few shots and drinks to REALLYGETTHEPARTYSTARTED and to be frank, I can seriously see myself hanging with this guy come«Game Night» just to benefit from his mixology skills. Dare I say,…my fam– FINALLLLY arrived(we were already 2 drinks and 2 plates in) and they were all the more impressed as well? I think I just about covered all that the place has to offer within my previous review however adding to that would be the fact that brunch possesses a slight variance in the menu. Sure they’ve got mussels, steak, burger patties, etc., however the shrimp doesn’t appear til’ dinner. –__– No one seemed to take notice to that minor seafood setback ^ ^ as we all stuffed ourselves like bell peppers! As I see it, they’ve seriously covered ALL bases at this place. From bowtie to linguini and penne pastas down to salmon(dinner) tilapia and cod. Heaven help my waistline!!! Additional sidenote would be the chef’s possessing bacon upon request(it’s not out with the rest of the protein). In this case, it’s best you speak up as closed mouths won’t be getting fed. Last and certainly not least, I/we will without hesitation, be returning sooner rather than later! Fire + Ice has pretty much got your week covered on virtually EVERYDAYOFTHEWEEK!!! The Mongolian buffet is no more than $ 10 – 15.00/pp(depending upon time of day) despite their possessing a «regular» menu as well. Mon — Mojito Mondays Tues — Margarita Tuesdays Wed — Lava Flow Wednesdays Thurs — Sangria Thursdays Fri — Martini Fridays * «Happy Hour» — $ 3, $ 4 and $ 5.00 menu items — 4−7pm(daily) Just be sure to validate on your way out. We,…(sighs) unfortunately, did NOT —

Fire and Ice is a mongolian BBQ all you can eat restaurant. The dining experience is interactive and fun. You make your own bowl consisting of whatever you like. Choose your noodles, rice, proteins, vegetables, sauce, seasonings, and garnishes. The noodles include bowtie, fettucine, udon, and fried noodle. They have a good variety of protein choices, which include sirloin, fajita steak, pork, salmon, tilapia, and cod. You can also have them make you a burger, hot dog, or philly cheese steak. There is also a salad bar. There’s a wide variety of sauces(teriyaki, sesame oil, sweet and sour, and many more) as well as different spices and seasonings. I arrived before my group of Unilocal pals and scoped out the place. Ashley was one of the hostesses, and she was kind enough to answer all of my questions. She was professional and courteous. They validate parking, but only for an hour. The parking struckture off Katella gives you an hour for free. So, combined with the hour from Fire and Ice, that gives you two hours. Because I arrived early, I ended up paying $ 9(three additional hours at $ 3 each). The first thing I noticed about Anaheim Gardenwalk is that it’s dead. Considering it was Friday night, it was pretty slow. Although Anaheim Gardenwalk was slow, Fire and Ice was packed during dinner time! Part of the appeal is that the chefs cook right in front of you on a big circular grill. They try to add flair(some more than others). It was quite entertaining. For $ 17.99 ayce, it is totally worth it. The only downside is that the process for getting your food takes about 12 – 15 minutes each time(waiting in line to make your bowl, then waiting to have your food cooked). I suggest giving them your bowl to cook first, then getting your salad while you’re waiting. I didn’t catch our servers name, but she was good. David helped us as well and was good. Service was good throughout the night, especially considering we were about 35⁄40 Unilocalers. On my first round I got fried noodles, sirloin, pork, mushrooms, onions, red peppers, salmon, tilapia, and bean sprouts, with teriyaki sauce and salt and pepper on the side. It was fresh and delicious. The quality of ingredients was high. For the second round I went with the burger and philly cheese steak. To my pleasant surprise, the burger was very good. It was seasoned well and tasted like a burger you would cook on your own bbq grill at home. The philly cheese steak was also good. The meat was tender, juicy, and tasty. On the third round, I tried the udon noodles and just got some salmon, tilapia, and veggies(onions, mushrooms, peppers). The standout item of the night was the salmon. It was super fresh, juicy, succulent, and tender. I would’ve gone back for a fourth plate of just salmon, but I was too full. Which noodle should I get? I tried both the fried and udon noodles. I prefer the udon noodles. They were actually more crispy and enjoyable. The fried noodles were more soft and plain. Fire and Ice accommodated us well, and I would definitely return. (I was invited to Fire and Ice for an UYE. Check out that review if you would like the inside scoop on Maila H and her wonderful ability to bring people together through food!)

Food is most typical american one but they also do Mongoria BBQ. It is quite pricey for Mongolia BBQ but the quailty is quite good. The cook were entertain the guess and has great attitude. The service here is A+, they are very responsive and friendly. Food could be better but is not bad at all. They offer some cheap eat in Happy Hour like $ 3 fries which I can’t even half of it. This was interesting restaurant and is is great for big group. We had over 20 peoples yet it still had room for all of us except we seat in outdoor which was better. They validated 2 hours of parking so make sure you don’t forgot !

Unilocal challenge 201574⁄365 *sing along Fire and Ice* You’re givin’ me the hungar tonight I don’t wanna pig out, I’ll be eating all night You forget, I’ve seen you cook before Take ‘em straight to the grill, then go back for some more Please dont burn them tonight. Fire and ice, you cook them on like a flame Then you eat some more Fire and ice, I wanna grab some more meat You’ll just take a little bite for me Please chew it apart. Fire and Ice Fire and Ice Lets eat some more tonight! Meat, meat, who likes to eat meat? Me! Me! Me! But, if you dont like meat you“ll be fine. Who brought a vegetarian here, I did. I know, thats horrible. But she did enjoy the vegetables, shrimps and pastas. Located upstairs near the movies at the Garden Walk, sits the Mongolian style bar and grill with outdoor and indoor seating that will set you back about $ 17.00 a person for dinner, a little less for lunch. Walk in, place your name, and usually there is never a wait, since The Garden Walk is Dead! The real crowd here, is at the bar for Happy Hour! I like coming here on my Birthday. Because its free! All you do is sign up online and you get a email certificate every year, and you have to bring your id card. I have been here a few times with the hubsters, our friends and my parental unit for both dinner and lunch. Everyone who has came here with me thought it was a great experience and really enjoyed their food. Service has always been good. The waiters really only need to bring you drinks and take your plates. Its basically a Mongolian BBQ and salad bar. You fill your bowl up with meats, seafood, veggies, noodles. Then mix up your tastey potion to pour on top and hand it over to the cooks who work their magic on the round hot grill. If it doesn’t taste good, its your own fault. Burgers and dogs are also available with the cooks. If your like my hubsters, ask the waitress for some rice. I am a carnivore so the more meat the better. Of course Im a fan! Review # 576

Came here twice … on separate days, of course. I would def skip out on the appetizers and desserts, but the variety of raw veggies and uh. raw? proteins are plentiful and cooked to your preference. In my opinion, making the customer create their own food is a smart move on the restaurant… it takes the work out of creating your own dishes -.- I mean, it gives the customer freedom to create whatever they want! Hah. Waiting for your dish to be cooked can also take a little while, so make sure you time to go get your food at the same time as the rest of your eating party. Otherwise, be prepared to eat alone if you keep getting food at separate times. I would only come here right at opening, so its nice and empty, and its like having my own mastachef kitchen. Except someone else is cooking the food. P. S. I really liked the salmon.

#100Reviews2015 — Review No. 17 It’s funny — I typically only come here to celebrate a particular friend’s birthday, though I pass it pretty frequently while at the Gardenwalk. It’s never really busy, or hasn’t been anytime I’ve been nearby, so I guess that’s a plus. What’s more is that I’ve only ever been here for the AYCE lunch, too. There’s a huge griddle in the middle of the restaurant, very like the ones in a Mongolian BBQ, with a couple of cooks waiting for you to bring them your food creations to cook while you stand by and watch. The food bars are ok, several pastas and rice are offered for the base of your dish, then veggies — lots of fresh veggies! Then the proteins are offered, meats, seafood, and tofu(yay!) and lastly the sauces/toppings. It’s great if you know what you’re doing with your sauces and spices. But for certain individuals who shall not be named, mixing the teriyaki and alfredo sauces probably didn’t work out all that well for you! Take your piled-high bowl to the griddle, and they cook it for you. Alternately, if you don’t want your tofu cooked where the flank steak was a scant 30 seconds previously, they will take your food and cook it in the back for you. Don’t forget to tip your chef; he’s the one that ensures you don’t get food poisoning from undercooked stuff! They also have a salad bar, though with copious amounts of iceberg lettuce, it’s none too exciting. Service is good, drinks are unlimited, and desserts are chosen from the menu and served to you. Not an amazing experience, but not bad either :)
