Carnivore Candy Cart

I was surprised to find that this cart wasn’t already on Unilocal because I found it amazing! So here goes the first review of carnivore candy and I hope I do the beef justice. Despite my natural bias (I love beef jerky), I felt that this cart was a great find.
I recently visited Downtown Disney just to walk around with my husband, when we stumbled upon the Carnivore Candy cart. Being a carnivore, the name drew me in. A girl waving a mini sample bucket at me also helped. I walked over and sampled the four flavors available and loved every single one of them. The prices were also reasonable considering jerky tends to be on the pricey side wherever you go.

Original Peppered
Orange Teriyaki
Barbecue Mesquite
Volcano Jalapeño (I was told that this was a new flavor)
The beef was incredibly moist and soft which I loved. Also, beef jerky can sometimes have a beef hide feel and just resemble sodium on leather, but not with this jerky! The flavors went throughout the beef. Let me try and describe this without drooling. I bit down on my first sample, Orange Teriyaki, and as soon as I bit down on the small hunk of meat, flavor exploded into my mouth. Surprised the heck out of me! It really tasted like I bit into a cow that drank orange juice its whole life. Amazing.
After eating too much beef jerky, I tend to get somewhat of a lock jaw due to the chewiness, but that didn’t happen with Carnivore Candy! Does the stringy beef of jerky getting caught in your teeth annoy you and make you not want to bother with jerky? No problem! They fixed that too! In every bag of jerky is floss to help with that very problem. However, I didn’t have a problem with stringy beef because of how awesomely moist the jerky is. I just finished my second bag that has been open for a few days and am still surprised at how moist in remained, even with an open bag. Bravo Carnivore Candy! Your online cart will be full of jerky tonight… I never can resist a good jerky!
Give their beef a shot and if you’re ever around their cart in Downtown Disney… give the sales person a high five for me!
