This is actually a Disney Photopass review, but I figured this was the best place to leave it. I took my husband to Disneyland for his birthday and I am so glad that we didn’t wait in line for character photo’s because all of the photos on our Photopass somehow are missing. We contacted Disneyland Photopass customer service and they simply said they were sorry that our photos were not available and there is no way they can locate them. Very disappointing. Another thing they can’t add pictures taken during a ride to your photo pass, that would have been convenient if that were possible. But as I said fortunately we didn’t waste much time in lines for these photos and we also don’t have children to be disappointed that their character photo is missing. So, please don’t rely on this system alone have the photographer use your camera to take the photo as well. It is very disappointing to not have access to the few photos we did take with photopass. :(

The place were all your pictures come to. Nothing beats an official Disneyland picture with the graphics they can add to it. The prices are VERY affordable. I recommend visiting and of course the service is amazing! Later at night it can get busy since it’s in the way out everyone tends to stop by

What I want people to know is that this is where you can get cold medicine if you need it. They keep it behind the counter so you have to ask for it, but this is the only place that had it in either park– first aid called around to find it for me. It made my day so much better.

I was fortunate coming here yesterday before lunch and seeing no one else in the store. I was able to be helped immediately. Apparenly the lines can get pretty crazy in here. I had a hard time finding a photographer in the park and figured that it’d be easier to just head here to get my daughter’s annual pass updated with her photo. I was in and out of there under five minutes. I’m definitely coming straight here again the next time I need to update our annual pass with a new photo.

The line can be very long at certain times of the day. As a store cast member when’s the best time to come. But the best thing for anyone to do is buy items online instead of going to the store. It’s a waste of time to stand in line. So if the line is long every time you pass by, just do everything online. It does mean you get the photo at a later date though, because it’s gotta be mailed to you. So if you want the picture then and there, then you’ve gotta wait in line. There’s not a lot of merchandise that you’ll find in the store that you won’t find at another store or venue in the park. But you’ll find the same photo products available online at . Oh, so here’s a good piece of advice. To save money, if you’ve got other friends that have photopasses, combine the pictures onto one card, split up the cost between you all, and purchase the disc. Here’s the catch, if you do it at the store, then you get pictures on the disc without borders(I think that’s how it works). If you do it online, then you can add borders. Saves so much money for everyone. I had a friend that went to Walt Disney World and I added their pictures to my card. Boom! Instant saving for me and them! Also, if they bought the disc at WDW, they would have spent over $ 100 on the CD. Instead, we paid the Disneyland price, which is significantly cheaper. I think half the cost of the WDW price!

I cannot believe that I am getting an FTR on anything at Disneyland! But I’ve searched and searched, and I don’t see any other reviews for the photo store, so here goes: What used to be the best spot in Disneyland to get your film, camera batteries, and other photo supplies is now the place to get prints or disks of all the pictures snapped of you by Disney photographers around the park(also known as the Photopass system). While most of the space is now taken up by Photopass viewing screens, you can still get photo supplies here in the form of battery packs and memory cards. The Photopass system can either be a total rip-off or a great deal. If you are going in to get prints, then it is a joke – $ 15.95 for one 5×7? *choke* However, it is possible to get a decent deal on the Photopass system, and here’s how: First, get a Photopass card from the first photographer you see upon entering the park. Make sure to get a card for everyone in your group, in case you split up. Second, USE that card! Hand it over to every photographer you see during your visit. You can use the card for several days – no need to get a new one if you are there for multiple days. Third, before you leave the park on your final day, bring ALL of the cards to the Photo Supply Co. They will combine all of the photos onto ONE card. Last, pay the $ 60 to have ALL of the photos burned to a disk.(You can also do this on-line at a later date, but then you have to pay shipping.) Split the cost of the disk between everyone in your group, then have the photos printed up wherever you want, as big as you want(the disk comes with copyright release). Ta-dah! You have dozens of Disney photos for about the same price you’d pay for ONE5×7 print out. The photographers at Disneyland aren’t any better than your average amateur photographer, but they do have better equipment, and they also do cool effects like putting Tinkerbell in your open palm or having Stitch pop out of the asphalt by your feet.
