Do to a cracked toilet tank I had some water damage that basically took over most of my Spring and had me staying in a hotel with the ruff, ruffs for over a month. Oey vey! What a mess. I KNOWNOTHINGABOUT construction. All I knew was that I need someone and fast and I needed the price to NOT go over what the insurance was willing to fork over which if you have ever had to deal with insurance companies you know full well they NEVER give you what you paid for something OR what it will cost to replace it and your forced to work in the confines of the dollar amount and formula they come up with to have things replaced. SOUNFAIR! Enter in AGB Construction… while staying at my temp housing hotel 3 short miles away I ran into another family that had experienced THESAMETHING! WATERDAMAGE… What are the chances? In fact there were 3 families with water damage staying at the same hotel including me. Geez Louise! After getting a few estimates and running into price gouging or contractors that were unable to start ASAP so I could GOHOME I got Mike’s name from my fellow water-logged hotel family. She RAVED about Mike and his guys! Just what I needed to hear and she told me he was reasonable and would work with the insurance monies and get you deals on all the replacement items so you could stretch your monies and maybe get something else done. SCORE! There were a few things I want to get done since my entire first floor was now an empty shell. Why not do it now! Not a shocker but just so you know my formula for money trees still isn’t working and I wasn’t able to get extra monies to grow from the trees so I had to work my magic. I called Mike and we set up a day and time for him to come over and give me an estimate! He showed up on time and was SUPERDUPER professional. I liked him immediately! He told me he could work with the insurance directly and if they missed anything he could fight for me to get them to fork over any extra monies. For example the abatement people removed 2 sides of drywall in a closet because of asbestos but the ins company ONLY wanted to pay to replace one side… huh? Or the abatement company took up some flooring that was ok and the ins didn’t want to pay to replace it! Why should I suffer because the abatement company was over zealous in removing things? So Mike fought for me. I was sold! All this running around and trying to educate myself along the way was daunting to say the least. Just finding replacement items was challenging because there are so many choices and because my home is older it is NEVER an off the shelf item and I have to retrofit or special order. ANNOYING! Mike was GREAT and told me where to go and select my new cabinet, sink, counter top, etc. He gave me measurements and instructions that were easy to follow. Mike kept in contact with me via email and text messages and phone calls. I was always in the loop. His guys showed up when they were supposed to and they cleaned up after them selves EVERYDAY! They were SUPERPROFESSIONAL and REALLYNICE! Even when they worked they were SUPERCLEAN and didn’t make a crazy amount of noise. Yes there was the normal hammering and drilling and cutting of materials but they didn’t spend the day socializing and ACTUALLY worked! He sent ONLY enough people to do the job and NOT over run my home with workers! SUPEREFFICIENT and POLITE! I stayed out of there way and didn’t have to worry about them ATALL! Like most contractors I did have to make sure they were on point so I could move back home. They always made sure to secure the house when they left so I NEVER had to babysit them or run by and make sure everything was ok. They were in about 2.5 to 3 weeks and even picked up my new floors! All I had to do was pay for it and they did all the heavy lifting. There was an issue with the floors because of the manufacture and there wasn’t enough to finish a closet. Can I PLEASE catch a break? Again I handled that and made arrangements with Mike for when the floors come in and he GRACIOUSLY sent his guys back to do the closet. AGAINAHHHHH-MAZING! He also has a showroom in case you would like to order or buy things from him. GREATPRICES, SELECTION and QUALITY! Elena is also SUPERFRIENDLY and NICE! Every project gets project manager that you can call or text and contact for ANYQUESTIONS or concerns. I am a question asker by nature and they were ALWAYSAVALIABLE to answer any questions. LOVETHAT! I would TOTALLY use Mike and his guys again and I would recommend them for any remodel or insurance claim! You will not go wrong with MIKE and AGB Construction!

Albert Gutierrez and Rick Willis and crew were great. I have a beautiful kitchen and they were professional, prompt and helpful. They are out of Riverside too and would recommend them to anyone.
