Great location and view for lunch or dinner in Anacortes. Michelle was an awesome waitress and host. Food and service were top notch!

The Restaurant is beautiful! My husband and I went for dinner one night. There was a little confusion with the Hostesses when we first arrived and asked for a table, when we hadn’t made a reservation. Intstead of telling us that it would be a wait of 45 minutes for a table, I felt she should have offered the bar area as a option, seeing that there are about 5, 4 top tables in there that are first come first serve. After finding out we could eat dinner in the bar area we went for it. The server was on point! She had said that she worked at Chinnooks, which is another of my favorite restaurants. Anyway, we ordered Calamari(came out cold :(but was fixed right away) had salads, my husband had seafood alfredo, I had crab cakes, and we finished with a baileys moose and burnt cream. Delicious!!! Great service!

I am a fan of Anthony’s Homeport. I love their weekly happy hour and I am a frequent Sunday bruncher at the Des Moines, WA location. The Des Moines location gets 5 stars. Sunday was a perfect NW sunny day. So, we drove to see the Skagit Valley Tulips. Our first Planned stop was Anthony(Anacortes location). Now, I felt we should eat first at the Anthony Des Moines location before we drove to Anacortes. I wasnt sure if we would get the same delicious basket of coffee cake and fresh fruit. Well, I was right. We were so disappointed. We did not get a basket of coffee cake and an array of fruit. Instead, we got a small slice of «stale» hard coffee cake(Starbucks size) and a slice of cantalope. I missed the special fruit spread and basket of fruit and FRESH coffee cake. Yet, the entrees were seasoned to perfection. I had the salmon scrabble with potatoes. My friend had a seafood omelet w/crab. The chef did an awesome job. Our eggs and potatoes werent over cooked. Our waitress was the best. She was very attentive and was quick to answer our questions regarding a sauce for my friends entrée. This location is like all Anthony’s– logistically placed overlooking picturesque views of the NW. We sat outside by the fireplace and enjoyed the view of yachts, sun, and tranquil water.(The only draw was the brewery chimney smoke across the river.) The décor is open space with lots of windows for everyone to view the river. Ladies, the bathroom is clean and decorated with artistic pictures of voluptuous women. Logistically placed to make you smile.. :) I give it 4 stars because Sunday’s at Anthony’s really begins with the basket full of fruit and coffee cakes. So, not having it makes us feel we missed the Anthony’s midas touch.
