Kiedrowski’s Simply Delicious Bakery

Excellent bakery — my only complaint would be that of their items are too sweet! For instance, the snoogles are drenched in icing, which I don’t think is necessary — at least, not as much as they put on. And many of their items are smothered in icing — almost overwhelms the taste of the baked items. And their frosting on their cakes is disappointing — just powdered sugar and lard — rather tasteless (and too sweet). (the frosting on the cakes from K-​mart is actually better — lighter, and has some flavor)

Whats not to love from this place well yeah leaving haha i love everything specially the one with bacon uff me and my husband are addicted to it when we went my son was so happy and was dancing with the music outside the last time we came cuz we got him a sugar dona just for him haha

One word Unilocalers… SNOOGLES
They are like Crack Cocaine… Not that I know what Crack is like but ya get what I’m saying.

This place is hidden in a strip mall with a ton of other restaurants, but I’m surprised this place isn’t better known. Their snoogles (?) are to die for and they have tons of random polish pastries that you can stuff your face with. This is an essentially useless review because I can’t remember or spell the names of most of what I got, but suffice it to say that I ordered one of everything and I ate all of it and was happy. One of their desserts, which was an overstuffed something or other (layers of cake, jam, and frosting) was essentially diabetes on a plate, but definitely worth the spike to my blood sugar. I’d recommend stopping by and just trying things out. They don’t really have inside seating, so it’s not a great stop and eat place, but it is a good order and go home so nobody can witness you eating a bakery box by yourself place.

You’ve tried the rest, now try the BEST! Kiedrowski’s bakery is absolutely the best bakery in Lorain county, and probably further! It’s a «must try», at least once. The best treat you can give yourself, and wonderful as a gift to friends & family. #satisfiedcustomer

Kids love it. I love the Browns, Cavs and Indians themed stuff. Very reasonable. No place to sit, but that’s okay.

All I’m going to do in this review is ask; how has a food network show not visited this place yet? Been coming for years! Im convinced that they have the best cake frosting on the face of the earth! Love it! Great people own this bakery and they are some of the friendliest you will ever meet! Just GO!!!

I have never been to Kiedrowski’s propper. I have tasted their goods at their Jamies flea market stand many times. However last time I went I was looking at the case I noticed a dead roach in the corner. I told the pimple faced punk and he said that they are all over and that they try to kill them all! I almost vomited on the display case thinking about last weeks kruller.
I dont know about the main location, honestly dont want too. Stick with Entemann’s, unless you like roaches crawling on your food.

Kiedrowski’s was my first and only choice when deciding on where to get my wedding cake made. My husband is from out of town and had no Kiedrowski’s experience (poor thing!), so he was happily surprised when we went to our cake tasting. We devoured a whole tray of flavors, fillings and frostings while Polka music played in the background.
We actually live out of state, but the Kiedrowski’s staff was awesome to work with while planning for our wedding day! I was able to send them pictures of what I wanted and they were able to capture my vision perfectly! We ended up choosing half almond cake, half lemon cake with the traditional buttercream frosting.
The overall cake was more beautiful than I could ever imagine. The cake was so moist and flavorful! Everyone raved over the almond cake, it was a HUGE hit! The price was extremely reasonable for a 100+ person wedding and the ease of delivery to our venue was one less stress I had to worry about. Thank you, Kiedrowski’s!

Small polish bakery with no inside seating, but a few benches outside… Ok/​Affordable pricing and delicious. Nothing special or worth more than a 15 min. drive, but tasty.

Is great. They have my daughter a free cookie once and now we always buy one. Their prices are very reasonable and you can tell they use good quality ingredients. I highly recommend the apple fritter and snoogle.

I love everything here i order the bday cake for my sons. 1 year and it was delicious wish they had more things with bacon pleaseeee hahaha

What can I say other than they are great! As a purist, the standard cake doughnuts are definitely my favorite. But that in no way overshadows the bacon covered maple cream sticks.

Great bakery. Best place to get your pastries in Lorain County. Their specialty cakes are decorated beautifully and their staff is always very friendly and helpful. Everything is very fresh and delicious. Don’t forget to get yourself a patented Snoogle while you are there.

On a whim, took the Fat Tuesday trip out here, because I heard great things about their Paczkis. Thankfully, Unilocal/​Google maps got me there just fine. Waited almost an hour (they passed out samples of paczkis & snoogles) in a good-​humoured line.
Worth it. The paczki are VERY good. This is a traditional Polish bakery, so you can have plain, prune, apricot, poppy, rose. No custard, chocolate, etc. Intrigued, I tried the rose, and it’s really a «jelly» filling with faint rose water notes (tastier than this sounds).
Snoogles are the bomb. Get those.

After not finding any paczkis in the city that satisfied my requirements, I decided to head out to Amherst to stand in line for the famous delicacies from Kiedrowski’s Bakery. The drive was pleasant as the weather this Fat Tuesday was pretty mild. Unfortunately, I used the Unilocal mobile location map for directions and it took me to completely the wrong place. After winding up on a residential road where I was pretty sure there wasn’t a bakery, I was able to find where I was supposed to be heading. Although, even with google maps this place was a bit hard to find for someone who had never been there before!
Lineup mid-​day wasn’t too bad, I only wound up waiting for about 25 min. outside and they had music playing, coffee to purchase and a little heater to warm up next to. A lady at the front door kept order by ushering the appropriate amount of people inside as soon as there was room to hold them.
A dozen paczkis for $ 10? Even though there were only two of us that I was buying for, there was no way I could say no to that deal! Traditional flavours, so I was really happy and got 3 each of the prune, poppyseed, rose petal and apricot. Their cases were filled with paczkis for this day but I did see some cakes and breads sitting back there and I’ll have to come out and try some of their other baked goods.
Lets just say that it was a miracle that those 12 paczkis made it back home to Cleveland without my digging into the box… the smells coming from my passenger seat were unbelievable! Once at home, we immediately went for our favorites, prune was light and delicate, and the apricot was heavenly. I can say that all of the flavours exceeded expectations and they are easily some of the best paczkis I have EVER had. No wonder Kiedrowski’s has a Paczki Ball every year and sells thousands of these on Fat Tuesday! There will be no question in the future where I will be going to get paczkis… the drive out to Kiedrowski’s is worth it ;o)

Great food items and always has stuff in stock. I’ve been to some other local bakeries and most places don’t bother making a lot and have nothing on their shelves by noon, but Kiedrowski’s makes stuff all day and keeps well stocked. I’ve never had a bad item from Kiedrowski’s and always end up getting a snoogle when i’m there.
No complaints, best bakery i’ve been to in this area.
