It’s OK… And predictable… You are not going to get the best food you have ever had… You are not going to have the best service you have ever had… But it’s comfortably predictable… The food is good… Well prepared for what it is and portions are pretty large thus they are filling. Ist it great? meh… I have had better… But I always seem to go back… It is way more pricier than a typical Diner…

This is the second time that we have visited Joey’s diner for breakfast and we were very happy both times. Everything was great, including the food, the service, even the parking was adequate. We were especially happy this time with the excellent service that we received, and she gave us just the right amount of attention. Not too much, not lacking a thing. 5 stars from us!

Pretty nice place, I had the Turkey Dinner and it was all good. prices were nice and there was plenty to eat. I’ve been there a couple times before and it has always been good food and a nice atmosphere.

YUM. Came here for a cheat meal and ordered almost the entire menu. A friend and I split an order of biscuits and gravy, a waffle, chicken fingers(so as to make chicken and waffles), and and gravy fries. I also got chocolate milk, because I like to put the 5 in 25. Ugh. It was everything I’d hoped and dreamed for. EATHERE!

I have driven by Joey’s Diner hundreds of times and I really wished I had tried eating here sooner. I went at 10AM on a Saturday and anticipated a long wait, but despite the difficult parking they had a booth available right away. The waiter was very helpful and made recommendations for my kids. I had the Irish Eggs Benedict and it was great. The egg was cooked perfectly and there was a ton of flavor. My toddler daughter, who is usually very picky and difficult to feed, ate a ton of food and really liked all of it. I am a fan and will definitely be going back soon. They do breakfast right and I’m interested in trying lunch or dinner.

My wife and I were out shopping yesterday morning and decided to go and get breakfast. We had been to Joe’s twice before in the past and was not happy but I am one to give a place 3 strikes then their out. Service was good but he the food was the worst breakfast we have both had… And cost us over $ 30 for breakfast this is crazy even if the food had been great… We will not being going back and will tell our friends and family to stay away as well…

This place gets 2 stars based on how cool it is to look at. A lot of time and treasure clearly went into the décor, website and menu. That unfortunately is where it ends. Today I went for lunch with my kids. We drove 45 minutes to find this place based on the cool diner feel it appears to have on the website. We arrived right at noon, typically the peak time for lunch but this place wasn’t ready for business. They had 2 servers on, that was it. Our server had 14 tables going at one point. He was a nice enough kid as was the only waitress on but they were so caught up in trying to keep up that they could not make connections with Guests or do anything except order take and do the basic functions. It took forever to be greeted. It took forever to put our order in, it took forever for the food. It took forever from the time I gave my credit card to the time I got it back. As for the food this was just as disappointing. Two of us got burgers, very dry and over cooked. The tots were also over cooked. My son got White Chocolate chip pancakes. They would have been good, if they had actually put any chocolate chips in, he got plain pancakes but unfortunately our server was way to busy to check in. The owner never asked either. He was seating Guests, from time to time ran some food and really kind of not personable at all. It looks like this may be family run. There was a little boy bussing tables which is very cool from a show him the business point of view. If this were my restaurant from a Guest point of view a few things must change. The place looks great(except the 20 or so lightbulbs that are out) focus on service and food. You will make far more money short and long term by staffing. No server on the planet can give exceptional service with more than 4 or 5 tables, 12 to 16 seats. Turn the music up a bit. The 50s/60s music was a plus but it was so low that it didn’t do what it could have, turn it up and add some pep and spirit to the atmosphere. The Guests at the next table commented about how they felt like they were eating at home and Dad was in a grumpy mood so they felt they had to keep their voices down. They were spot on. The employees and owner were so un attached to the Guests it was uncomfortable and the music being low could not help it. The other thing I noticed was no one sat at the counter. It wasn’t even offered and it probably wasn’t staffed. A diner has a counter full of patrons with a lively soda jerk or waiter/waitress adding to the aura and ambiance. This may have been a one off day. Maybe 3 people called out I don’t know but as someone who personally runs 17 restaurants professionally and looks out for great diners across the country you lost me on this one and I wanted soooo bad to like this place and make it a regular place to visit. It looks like a diner but its not a diner.

I love this place! Not only are the food and service great, so is the décor! It’s a fun throwback to the 60’s! Love the music, too! Definitely my favorite diner in the Nashua area!

My dad and I just literally left this place, and honestly we were a bit disappointed. We got there and were waiting to be sat for a good 5 – 7 minutes. The person who sat us didn’t even seem welcoming and it felt like we were bothering her. I would have understood if the place was busy, but it really wasn’t from where I was. We were sat in an empty section and waited a good 10 minutes for our server to come. He was nice, which kind of made up for it. We were starving so we started off with mozzarella sticks. I ordered a burger with a mix of onion rings and fries. The mozzarella sticks were amazing but the burger was not the best. It was dry but I sucked it up and ate it. The onion rings and fries kind of saved the dish. Between our appetizer and meal, the server never came back to ask for refills and that kind of got to me. Also, the place was FREEZING. We had to ask if they could turn down the ac or something because of how ridiculously cold it was. When we got the bill, we expected 20 – 25 dollars but were shocked to see it over 33 dollars. The mozzarella sticks were 8 dollars. It’s overpriced and honestly not worth the money.

Love this place for breakfast — the décor is fun and retro and the he space is big, so pretty easy to get a seat on the weekend even if we sleep in a little. The BEST omelette, nice and light with FRESH vegetables. I get Egg Beaters with spinach and tomato — always delicious and they don’t use a lot of fat to cook, really makes a difference. I love their homefries too, kinda like tater-tots, yum! Service is always friendly and speedy. It’s worth the trip from Tyngsboro

The building is a little run down. Sometimes the food is ok but generally it’s good! But I love this place. I go there regularly. Kids eat dinner free Sunday through Tuesday. You can’t go wrong!

Maybe not a «real» diner, but it sure feels like one! Big place — all decked out like you’d expect a faux-diner to be. Nice touch with the rotary phone booth in the lobby! Food is awesome — perfect diner-stuff. Bacon is cooked well here — and not raw like most places. Eggs benedict really hit the spot on this miserably rainy and raw New England morning!!!

I can’t figure out why people like this place so much. We went several times, for breakfast and dinner. The food is unremarkable… usually frozen, and bland. How about a hand formed burger? When we want good cheap diner food, we now go to Red Arrow in Milford.
