Stopped by here after the ISU game since pizza sounded good. There was a deal where you order a large and get one free, so we had to do it! We ordered the supreme deluxe and a steak and mushroom pizza. The toppings fell off when biting into both pizzas, so that was a little disappointing. The pizza was also kind of limp when picking it up to bite into it, so sometimes the toppings would just fall off on its own. Not cool. The supreme was cut into traditional slices, while the steak and mushroom was cut into squares. The flavors were there but nothing that was amazing that I wanted to go back right away. We also ordered 10 wings(sweet and spicy sauce and roasted garlic) and they were cooked well but the sauces were not the best. The sweet and spicy was like a sweet soy sauce based sauce. I was expecting more of an Asian zing flavor like at Buffalo Wild Wings. The pizza and wings were ok. Nothing special. The place is clean and I did see a special saying a bucket of beers(5) for $ 10…everyday. That alone may make me go back and try other items :)

I had a sweet tooth and the only place nearby that delivers was this place. So I ordered the Master Special which included a Chef salad, brownie, and soda. I got an order of naked wings. I also ordered a crispy bar which turned out to be a Rice Krispy treat. Delivery was within schedule time frame and the delivery person was extremely nice and thorough. The Chef salad wasn’t anything to brag about but it served its purpose. The brownie was legit! I don’t drink soda so I gave it to a friend. I also gave away my wings because I wasn’t as hungry as I thought. I think my friend enjoyed the wings. He didn’t complain so I guess they were good lol. I’d probably order from them again in the future especially since they have late night delivery hours.

The delivery pizza is one of my least favorites, instead consider stopping in for a slice. Whether it be the middle of the night or for a lunch special, their huge, pieces of pre-made pizza are delicious. I personally prefer to fold a slice of Hawaiian in half, taco style.

Pretty decent Pizza. I have only had their pizzas a few times over the last few weeks but it was pretty good. For me the down side is the cost. I can get something that is just as good but cheaper some place else. I also get regular coupons for a different resturaunt that I find I use quite frequently. I get a, sometimes small, coupon every weekend to save a few bucks and because of this I find I am not ordering pizza from Jeff’s as often. Great pizza, for a slightly higher price.

I was a little disappointed when I discovered they had a pizza deal going on where I could have gotten a second pizza for free, but I ordered online so there was nothing there to tell me of the deal. Also, when I called they were out of the bread they used for cheese sticks, but they made a pretty tasty substitute. I loved the crust on the pizza, but we had the Gyro pizza, which tasted nothing like a Gyro and was covered in way too much cheese. It tasted more like a Philly Steak Pizza than a Gyro. All in all the food was fine, but I won’t go out of my way to have their pizza again.

Never have really been a fan of their pizza. The ingredients are of poor quality and for the price you pay for a pizza there. You can get much better somewhere else. Although if you’re looking for pizza late at night, look no further. This place will satisfy your late night pizza cravings with no problem

Their pizza is horrible, unless you’re drunk. They use too much sauce and cheap cheese. If you’re used to authentic pizza, Jeff’s is definitely not the place to go.

Anyone remember Landsberg Pharmacy? Probably not unless you are at least forty years old and have lived in Ames all your life. It was the long time occupant of the site that now houses Jeff’s Pizza. After some failures of businesses at the location, it’s good to see a long-term success in Jeff’s. Let’s hope all the construction in the area and associated parking issues do not harm Jeff’s business too much. Thankfully, Jeff’s is in easy walking distance for many ISU students(dare we say the most conveniently located pizza joint for ISU?) and has a thriving delivery business. I really like Jeff’s. It’s not foodie pizza. It’s pizza. There are some foodie alternatives on the menu, but I’ve always felt bad pizza joints are exposed when you challenge them with simplicity. Order a simple pepperoni pizza and Jeff’s shines. One of just two locations, Jeff’s has some unique combination pizzas on the menu. I have a preference for thin and crispy pizza crust that, while not Jeff’s default dough, is done very well here. My only complaint about Jeff’s is a little inconsistency, typical I suppose of pizza places that are dependent on a lot of part-time workers that turn over often. They’ve screwed up my crust preference more than once, eating at the restaurant and with carry out. They handled the errors nicely, however, so for me it’s not even an issue. The fact that the thin crust comes out soggy on occasion is of greater concern. That said, we’ve never had an issue when we stuck to their default crust, so perhaps it’s just a consequence of me asking them to be something they’re not. Pay attention to the daily specials. The savings can be significant. Jeff’s Pizza is a great choice for delivery, carry out and dining in. Consider giving them a try while the construction is making business a little difficult for them.

Stayed in Ames this last week for work and ordered from Jeff’s before going home the next day. Delivered to our hotel with no problem. We tried the bison, and also got the gyro meat with feta cheese sauce… hands down the latter was better. My only complaint is that when we planned out the order online they did not charge extra for the feta sauce, but when I placed the order by phone it was 0.85 extra. This was mitigated by the fact that they did not charge the $ 1 delivery fee, but it was still inconsistent. The breadsticks were good as well. It did take 45m to get to us, but that was disclosed. Would definitely eat there again if in the area. The Wednesday deal of 21-topping pizzas, breadsticks, and a 2-liter for $ 20 was a great deal.

Bread sticks are plain pizza dough, but very good with dipping sauces. Pizza excellent, but did get our order wrong. Asked for NO olives, but got olives anyway. Picked them off instead of waiting for another pizza. Would have been nice to get the bread stick thrown in since our pizza order was wrong.

Super happy customers sitting in the Hilton coliseum. Delivered hot and fast, and met us at the unusual location. Big appreciation for great service and delicious pies.

I love ordering their pizza and having it delivered to work for my staff to enjoy and it is outstanding. I also love their sandwiches they have here when on lunch to stop in and grab to go or eat in. Right in the middle of the campus and has the college feel.

I’m a fat kid that loves pizza and I’m picky, picky, picky — as my reviews show — and Jeff’s hits the spot. Smotharella sticks? The bomb!!! This is definitely an Ames staple and rightfully so. There are a lot of options so I’m sure any pizza lover will find something they’ll enjoy. The italian sausage toppings are like big balls of yummy seasoned love! I will say that we had leftovers and it tasted better the next day.

Lasagna and wings great. Reasonable prices. But being from the south every meal should have brewed sweet tea

Jeff’s is by far the top dog in Ames for non chain pizza places. I often find myself going here when I’m out and about on the weekends at night or ordering it late at night. Going in later at night they deal with their rather large crowds well. I believe it’s $ 3 a slice, but one slice is large so it’s usually sufficient. The only drawback is it’s more expensive than other pizza deliverers. I believe it is fair though because you have to keep in mind you are paying for quality and not quick sloppy chain restaurant pizza.

OK. long time customer, but they really let us down the last few times. I think the owners have a few different ventures and are letting managers run the store. Unfortunately, the managers are dropping the ball. Today ordered lunch for a business meeting @10:30 requesting 11:30 delivery. Received call at 11:45 stating they had computer issues and just now had discovered the order. They said it would be delivered at 12:00noon. 12:15 order arrives, but is not correct. Corrected order delivered around 1:00. All the time the meeting was over at 12:00 — so quite a mess handing out food, etc. No apologies, no discounts, nothing. While I’ll still get food from them for my family, I can no longer use them for my business meetings as they have proved too unreliabe on multiple occasions. =

Jeff’s offers great pizzas at a very reasonable price. They offer daily specials, which are great deals. I think it’s awesome that they offer some less traditional options such as the BBQ chicken and buffalo chicken pizza, as well as a Philly cheesesteak pizza. The crust is known to taste like a breadstick, and I certainly can’t disagree. This pizza shop is a staple to campus life for all Isu students. It’s the late night stop for nigh goers and also the primary choice for pizza hosted events, for the most part. They open late, so they are accessible at virtually anytime you hit a pizza craving. I would definitely recommend this pizza shop to anyone in the area.

It’s 3 am. The demons come. Alcohol appears. It tempts. You listen. It beckons. You follow. Where is the answer? How do I find my way back to the person I was? Through what grease-covered vessel will I sail my way back to Sanity? Call Jeff’s. It will all make sense.

Smotherella sticks are a must. They are really good. Their pizza is pretty good too. Be warned, as it’s pretty greasy.

Jeff’s Pizza Shop is fantastic. The pizza is great and so are the Bosco sticks, which are breadsticks with cheese inside. You can’t beat the lunch specials — two GIANT slices of pizza, or a slice of pizza and a salad, or a slice of pizza and two Bosco sticks, plus a drink for something like $ 5. Yes, the lines are long at lunchtime, but it’s worth it. They also offer online ordering. I’m a big fan of online ordering.
