Dr. Saunders and his staff are phenomenal! Dr. Saunders takes personal care in his clients. Most OBGYN’s have their PA’s see you and its difficult to get into the Doctor. Dr. Saunders sees you personally and takes his time with you with each and every visit. Thourought all my years he is definately the best OBGYN I have ever had. His staff always follows up and most of the time Dr. Saunders calls you personally with any test results you may be waiting on. His Staff are all very caring, kind, and concerned. It is not always fun to have to see an OBGYN but Dr. Saunders and his staff certainly make it an extremely comfortable experience. If you are looking for an OBGYN please go meet Dr. Saunders and his Staff. Also I’d like to add there is plenty of parking and it is not difficult to get in for an appointment. I was very suprised. Most of the time your appointments from most Dr. offices can be a month out. Dr. Saunders and his Staff gets you right in.

I’ll first say I think Dr. Saunders is a great practitioner in theory and seems to do his research etc. Applying those things on a personal level is extremely lacking. Reasons I would not reccommend: Every visit we had to rehash the same questions over and over. How many pregnancies, types of deliveries. He always seemed surprised about it… every time. My personal opinon is that there is just too much on his plate to remember things This included at my last appointment when he was baffled about me wanting sterilization if I had a c section… which was discussed at least 6 times prior including my first visit there. And even stated«We have never discussed this before?» what? I was induced at the hospital(3rd baby a couple days past 40 weeks). On arrival I found out I was strep B positive. Which I was NEVER told at all before! Bedside manner was less than desirable and most likely because he was overtired but he was extremely grumpy. The nurse would help me with something try to maneuver me to help progress labor and he would come in and say«why did they do that? That doesn’t even help anything» then leave. He suggested I would not need the Gestational diabetes screening. Which I was ok with. I trusted his judgement. I hate needles, and I have never had it, and was not at a high risk at all. My baby came 9lbs 4oz. With a lot of fluid in his lungs and needing blood sugar testing because his was out of wack. So in the end I would say. Yes, I would trust him to make life saving decisions. However, the personal level was not there. After being the hospital afterwards it seemed to be that he had a reputation with the nurses for not being fun to work with or a delight. That is just my experience.
