Stopped for lunch and had a medium rare ribeye with onion rings. The food and service were excellent. This is a hole in the wall place with a very basic menu. They serve beer and wine. They are only open Friday and Saturday! If you want delicious steak, fish, or calf fries give them a try.

I can’t talk about the food… they don’t have a non smoking area. We got there at 630 on Saturday and they were out of the Prime rib. Our waitress said we needed to be early? 630 on Saturday is not early? We decided to try the ribeye. But right after we ordered. People started lighting up cigarettes. When the older gentleman on oxygen lit up we said we wanted the non smoking area. Nope so we left. It’s too bad because I love hole in the wall/dives. And it looked promising

The chicken fried steak is awsome. Cold beer and a great atmosphere. The service is great and they go out of their way to make you comfortable. Try the ribs and the brisket.

This place is quite a bit of a drive, but after hearing how good the steaks were, I had to give it a try. I think smoking is allowed because I got a good whiff of a scent of smoke when I first entered. Waitress was very kind and service was quick. I ordered the mesquite smoked prime rib to share with my boyfriend($ 19.99). We ordered it medium, so when I took my first bite, either they cooked it more rare but couldn’t tell because the restaurant was dimly lit or it was super tender. Either way, the steak was DELICIOUS! Probably one of the best steaks I’ve had in Amarillo. As a plus, the portion was very large and can easily split between two people. The steak tasted in a way like ham, but it kept its meat flavor. Definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a good steak in Amarillo! No offense, but it is literally a million times better than the Big Texan(and more worth the price)!

He says: Delicious steaks, Texas-sized portions, solid prices. I ordered the prime rib, which was among the best I’ve had. I was initially a bit wary of their prime rib because it is smoked and I’ve often been put off by too much smoke flavor on steak. However, Outlaws made it work excellently. The smokiness was tasty but didn’t overpower the delicious meat flavor. Pros: My medium rare cut was exceptionally juicy when you chewed it. I literally almost choked on the juices twice because so much came out of a bite. Talk about flavors that explode in your mouth. Delicious. Cons: Side salad that accompanied the steak was weak: lettuce and croutons. I could have lived without it. But really, who cares? Steak! She says: You are seriously missing out if you don’t go here. Great, hearty steak done right. Got a top sirloin(medium rare, which came out medium in some areas), which was juicy and delicious, seared right. Generous portion(the steak was about an inch and a half thick and several inches wide, about a pound cooked). The seasoning is minimal so you can choose to salt/pepper/sauce it your way. I chose baked potato as a side(you also get a buttery Texas toast and side salad), which was also delicious. They give you a tray with fixin’s(butter, cheese, bacon bits, etc.) so you can dress is the way you like — which was a bonus. Nice, casual, Old West atmosphere with some country and oldies playing in the background. Very friendly and attentive waitress. Efficient service. Hats off.

Fred Flinstone sized portions! The steaks are huge and the prime rib is some of the best in town but every steak I have had is great. Always cooked to perfection. The sides are nothing revloutionary(baked potatoes etc) but they are good. Its an adventure to go out there but worht it!

Stopped here for lunch and a beer while passing through Amarillo. Good barbeque chicken lunch special. Fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices. The address for this is incorrect, though — it’s located at 10816 Southeast 3rd Avenue

Steaklovers paradise. Some of best steaks in Texas. Prime rib on Friday and Saturday, if you get there early. Calf fries are great as is salad with house dressing. No dessert unless you like Sweet n Low. Service is relaxed, friendly and quick.
