Buffalo Wild Wings

This place is amazing. It might be quite normal to most patrons but to. New Zealander it just is amazing. Such a range of flavors of buffalo wings. I make it a habit to attend a Buffalo Wild Wings where ever I am in the USA. The Amarillo BWW is no exception to the great food and service.
TV screens all round there is always something to watch.

Ehhh it was ok for a BWW. The wait staff was friendly enough and the manger was out and about checking on people which was great.
The draft beers where a bit flat and tasted like their lines are do for a cleaning. The menus where kind of sticky and gross but the food was fast out and tasted pretty good.
I love the desert heat wings and the curry ones. Only thing about the curry wings is that they tend to stain your fingers.
Side note and funny as hell was they had one girl (might have been new) bringing orders out, man was she LOST. More than once I watched her roam around looking for the right table. Too dam funny. I’d say 90% of the time she had to ask the table of it was their order or the original waitress had to show her.
BWW is a consistent place for wings beer and some good sports TV.

I put friendly customer service over anything I’m from out of town and they are some friendly folks STILL good beer good food GOOD JOB

The service is friendly and the drinks are always good. Every time I go there no matter how busy the place is I’ve always gotten great service.

BWW is a great place to go for wings and they always have other great dishes on the menu to try. I really like this place, but here are some of the drawbacks:
— They are usually not super fast, so don’t go there if you are pressed for time.
— It gets pretty loud in there, so don’t plan on having any deep conversations over your meal.
— The parking lot is not very big, so definitely car pool. Don’t meet people there. If possible pick them up on the way.
— the chair backs curve dramatically, so plan on getting bruises on the back of your arms if you don’t sit perfectly still… or just ask for a booth.
And back to the good stuff — they have Buzztime Trivia! So you can always play that while your man watches sports! You don’t need the trivia box. Just ask them to change one of the TV screens so you have a good view and you can play with the Buzztime app on your phone.

40 cent Wing Tuesdays !
I’ll be honest, I only come here when there’s a game/​fight or on a Tuesday. My experience has been GREAT every time at this location. There are giant TV screens on every inch of every wall. If they don’t have something on (which most likely wont happen), you can ask them to change the channel. Servers are always fast and friendly.
Tuesdays are perfect to try new flavors. You can order 5 wings per flavor and they have tons to choose from. In their menu they have picture scale from not spicy to burn your mouth spicy. My personal favorites are Asian Zing, Caribbean Jerk, and Hot BBQ. All of them have a nice kick to it, but still enjoyable to eat. I like my wings saucey, but you can always ask them to lightly sauce it. This locations seems to give FREE sides of carrots, celery, and dipping sauce!
There’s also a large selection of beers and liquors so thats always a plus too ;)

Bar staff super fast and friendly, adam vic, jake, and Toni were very attendant. Management very much on their game

At first liked it but that’s because I only had the lunch specials. Other than those food is very expensive for what it is. Service is very random. Good beers. Only place in town I go for UFC or Hockey.

The service here is really bad. If you want to sit around hungry and thirsty, this is a place you will enjoy. Then if and when you get some service, you want to sit around for another couple of hours while you wait for your check, this place is where you want to be. After you get your check, if you want to wait another couple of hours to pay out, then this is most definitely the place you want to be!!! Very bad service, long waits between drinks, then order, then check, and even trying to get out of there.

Went for lunch. Had Stephanie as my server and she was excellent– very friendly, always smiling, and very attentive. Food came out quickly and was just as I ordered it. Calm atmosphere and was quite enjoyable.
Highly recommend for lunch.

I love the deals they have here. The service is eh. I’ve had a lot better. I guess it depends on the location. Must be a small town thing?

So hit or miss. The food is just okay because there is no consistency. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s absolutely terrible. The service is about the same, hit or miss. The atmosphere is so loud, you cannot carry on a conversation, but it is a sports bar. This place does seem to not care about serving obviously intoxicated people who are bothering the other people in the restaurant. It’s seems there is very little oversight by management.
This place was one of my favorites, but the quality of everything has slipped away. We’re done with BWW.

Pretty bad service at the Amarillo Location. Actually just not much to get excited about with many dirty tables and staff just plane lazy

There’s really not much I like about this place. The food I order always makes me sick and it’s so salty my mouth puckers. I like the beer selection and watching the games, but that’s usually ruined by the bandwagon Rangers fans or belligerent Cowboys fans.

The food and service was horrible. They ran out of hamburger meat the night we were there and it took 2 hours to get our check!

GREAT service and fun times, even though my team lost… Food is pretty decent and because they have Shiner and Woodchuck on tap, as well as many others, there is something for everyone. The berry lemonade is good, too! Sit in the traditional dining area if loud crowds bother you…

Although our party had 30, the management only assigned 1 waitress. It took 85 minutes for the last person in the group to get her beer. Total time was right at 3 hours to get and finish our food. Meanwhile there were 2 managers and 3 waitresses standing around as if they didn’t have anything to do. We called in an hour and a half before we arrived.

Waitress seemed annoyed, she rolled her eyes at us a few times. Wings were hard and chewy. Took forever to get our order. It was a Tuesday and not a whole lot of people were there so I never expected to wait that long for our food. Drinks were never refilled without having to ask. Thumbs down.

I don’t know what the negative reviews are about! Is it loud? Yeah, there are like, 20 huge TVs playing sports and a full bar with drunk people. It’s a PARTY. Of course it’s loud. If you are trying to have a romantic night at a wings restaurant, than you’re at the wrong place.
Queso appetizer not great? Don’t go to a wings restaurant and order mexican food! It’s that simple! ORDER WINGS.
As for the service, I personally have never had any problems with the service. Wings may take a little long, but when the restaurant is packed, how fast can you expect the kitchen to be? The servers have always been quick, attentive, and always willing to please. The only time I had something wrong with my order was when we were there with 44 other people. In my opinion, they were excused that night.
The wings here are good! You’ve got 14 flavors to choose from and they run the gamut from sweet and mild to hot and super spicy.
Here are the flavors starting from the most mild to the most spicy.

My favorite flavor is Mango Habanero. You get that first sweet bite of mango in your mouth and after a little chewing, you start to feel a new sensation: a light, smokey tingling on your lips. like a lover’s kiss that burns and now you’re starting to wonder what you’ve caught and whether or not it’s treatable. lol it’s delicious. Don’t worry, that tingling on your lips will go away after awhile.
I usually do not like my wings this saucy, but you can order them «lightly sauced». Plus, they have a new flavor out this month and it’s for a limited time only. It’s called «Desert Heat» and it’s totally dry!
For a side, order a basket of the Buffalo Chips ($ 5). It’s basically a few potatoes that have been scalloped and deep fried then very lightly salted. They are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Soooo good.
So yes, this place is loud, but again — this is that kind of restaurant. Where 45 crazy new pharmacy students can go out and celebrate their first two weeks of school and get a little liquored up. You can’t do that at Wing Stop or Wing Street. You could do it at Hooters, but it’s just less fun when they only have 4 flavors. Oh, and the best thing about Buffalo Wild Wings? FORTY CENT WINGS ALL DAY ON TUESDAYS ! ! ! !
Pros: 40c wings on Tuesdays, plenty of room for rowdy groups, buffalo chips, open till 2am EVERYDAY
Cons: wings are a bit saucy, iced tea is garbage (order beer), there’s only one BWW in Amarillo =(

Am trying real hard to like this place as it’s cool to go and hang out with a bunch of friends… but the service is ALWAYS horrible. Food is basically drunk people food. I ordered the queso appetizer and it was so thick and gross I could hold the cup upside down and nothing moved. True story. Also, the wait staff has no idea what they have on tap or carry at the bar and i’m talking about just the BEER selection. We picked 3 different beers that are on the menu but that they say they don’t carry anymore. Who knows what else they don’t carry anymore. Every waitress we asked had to walk back to the bar and check.
What might be the last straw was the last UFC fight we were up there, largest table in the place, and they give us the new girl. She always disappeared in the back somewhere and was no where to be found when we needed something. At the end of the night was the worst… it took us 45 min. to an hour to get our ticket and pay out. We were the last people there waiting and she had to go to everyone and ASK them what they ordered. Messed up several times. The manager and the rest of the workers did nothing to help her out. Very upset with that because we understood she was new but someone should have stepped up and helped her out.
When you have a huge table like ours and we’re dropping lots of money and you make them wait an hour to pay out you’re gonna believe they’re going elsewhere next time.
