Belmar Bakery & Cafe

I like this place! It has a great variety of baked goods including pastries, cakes, and cookies. The food there was limited but delicious. I got a breakfast sandwich with avocado and they put enough avocado on it for the sandwich to be worth it without any breakfast meats. The croissant was soft and heavenly.
Only downside was that their coffee was mediocre. I tried putting in cream and sugar to give it a better flavor but it was just watery and lacking coffee flavor due to being watered down. I wouldn’t expect them to be great at coffee as well, it was just a let down, hence still 5 stars.

On Saturday May 9^th, there was an offer for ‘buy one get one free’ breakfast burrito. The choices were Bacon, Sausage & Potatoes. When we arrived, the inside looked as if it were getting a paint job. ½ of the café didn’t have anything on the walls, however it didn’t matter we came for the breakfast.
We ordered 2 Bacon Breakfast burritos and coffee & water to drink. We even threw in some cookies ($ 2.00)
We were able to sit outside with our dog; Linda brought us our food and even offered to get something for our dog (2 pieces of bacon)
Although these breakfast burritos tasted delicious, I felt like I could make it at home.
I would come back for the convince of a clean kitchen & nice atmosphere AND of course the food.

This café/​bakery is wonderful! We had the spinach salad w/​grilled chicken, the café salad with tuna salad on the side, the pineapple cobbler, and one of the chefs brought out a sample of a jalapeño cream cheese dip on lavosh bread for us to try which was excellent! We have recently lost a ton of weight, so we had to hurry up and get out of this place! Their cookies are to die for, the brownies are delicious, and I took a bread pudding in brandy sauce to go– not sure how the weight loss is going to hold! I recommend everything! They serve breakfast, too, but we were too late to order. And the prices are not bad, too!
