This is a small shop with big flavors. They have really good breakfast tacos and fairly quick service. I would recommend Alvin Taco of you haven’t tried it.

Food has a nice flavor but GREASY GREASY GREASY. Our flour tortillas (we ordered corn BTW) were see through there was so much grease! My gordita had hardly any meat and the gordita was very thick and gelatinous. The chile was not hot at all. I prefer the Taco City taco van on Hwy 35 Bypass but they are closed on Sundays now.

Based on their breakfast tacos alone, I have to give them 4 stars. Hands down the best I’ve had in a while. Everything about them was perfection. Seriously. I don’t give out those kind of compliments lightly. I was actually happy that I had the presence of mind to stop and eat here. I have passed this place hundreds of time and never gave them a second thought until today. Not sure why, but my stomach is glad that I did. I plan to return here and try the tortas and a few other items on the menu.

Amazing food! Little gem. Cute little restaurant. Had the menudo and by far the best I’ve had !! Tamales, tacos we tried a little of all the hand made items! very impressed

I’m updating my review and lowering from 4 stars to 2 stars. Something has changed in the last few months. The quality has gone way down. The cheese is awful and the meat is very oily, more than it should be. I had only tried the breakfast tacos and they were good but had been very greasy and hard the last few times. Today I ordered the torta, I wish I hadn’t. First I asked the man is this REAL fajita meat (skirt steak) he said yes. It’s NOT fajita meat, I don’t know what it was but it’s ALL fat. Look below and see all the meat I couldn’t eat. It was the worst torta I’ve ever had !!! My hubby ordered the tamales and almost choked they were terrible. Will never go here again !!!

Stopped by here on my way home and was feeling like a good burro. It’s not fancy and a good grab and go place. They do have small seating area inside and a few picnic tables outside. Burro is good and huge! I have the fajita meat burro and I liked it, was not to greasy at all. I will try their breakfast tacos next time.
