Super 8

We stayed in these hotels for Friday and Saturday night of Independence Day weekend. When entering the hotel it looked fairly clean. But when we got our room we had quite a bit of problems. These problems were as follows:
1: This hotel does not have elevators, making it difficult for handicap accessibility.
2: When we turned on the shower knob the first time brown gunk came out of it. When asked about it they said they were doing renevations.
3. The second night we stayed the hot water went out.
4: The towels we received on the second night had black and yellow stains on them.
5: For some reason the alarm clock was set at 3:30 every morning (Most likely from another customer)
6: We also heard noises late at night from the customers upstairs turning on their water. We could hear the pipes trying to heat up.
7: Breakfast was minimal.
I went to the front and asked the manager to contact me regarding what I experienced and they said that he would get back to us. He has not yet.
If you do not appreciate being lied to or having poor room service please do not go to this hotel. Also I have heard from others that this hotel along with a few others on the same road are owned by the same person. I would not recommend the other hotels but do not have experience in those.
All in all the quality did not match the price. Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

My husband and I were looking for a hotel near his job for the weekend and really wanted one with a hot tub for a little relaxation after he got off work. We called and asked beforehand if they had a WORKING hot tub. They told us yes, everything works. We check in for two nights only to find that the hot tub did not in fact work and had not been working for almost a week. Not only was the hot tub broken, but the hot tub and pool look as if they had not been cleaned in weeks. We complained and they refunded is for only one night and refused to do anything else. We were just screwed out of that half of our money that we could have spent on a much more clean hotel room. I was also very disappointed to see NOTHING in the fitness room worked! As if everything in this hotel is simply for show! Also, our room had dirty towels folded and hung like they were clean/​new. I had to wash the coffee pot in the bathroom sink just to get all the old dried up coffee out of the bottom of the coffee maker. Not to mention those scary little black hairs on the comforter. I’m assuming Ray Charles cleaned this room before we checked in. Very disappointed in this hotel. Had we known (not been lied to) about the non-​working hot tub, we would have stayed elsewhere. Oh, and if you’re going by the pictures on the website the hotel is not what it seems.

This hotel was wonderful, clean quit, very comfortable. The bed was great, the room was spacious. Large bath room. And we was able to have our dog.
