GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Took my car in for service and Bobby Melancon took great care of me. Always made sure I was updated through every process along the way.

Great job. Customer service is excellent, however, I made an appointment for 10:00 and arrived 15 minutes early. My truck was ready at 2:45. That is excessive for an oil change. Appointments need to be honored otherwise they are pointless.

I live in Pasadena and I still come here because they are so nice be always take care of me!
I never get the feeling that I am getting taken advantage of or being charged all the unnecessary shit because I’m a women.
I highly recommend Jason Poole or the manager I think his name is Steven. They are so nice and even though there’s a wait of you wait for an oil change or service, they constantly come and make sure you know you’re not forgotten!
I also love this place because it’s relatively cheap for my synthetic oil change and there’s always a deal running. I went to my other oil place and they wanted to charge me 75 for my oil change! I couldn’t stomach spending that much and this place charges 40 regularly but often runs deals for 30.
They have free donuts in the morning and free cookies in the evening.

Love the service at Ron Carter in Alvin. Bought my 2011 Camaro there and they take super good care of my car whenever I’m due for any service. Am planning on buying a 2015 Camaro from them soon.

We were looking for a 2015 Mustang, we were probably every salesman’s worst nightmare. I had specific requirements and Dominique James, AKA Slimm came up with my dream car. Down to the color, and package I asked for he went all out to get it. I could not have asked for more. Finance dept were great too. I know you probably don’t want to hear this Dominique, but would come back to you again, lol. Please ask for Dominique he will get you what ever you want.

Showed up to get my 1^st 6 month check up, and was told that «I could NOT be seen without an appointment.» I replied «the hell I can’t», told him that I’d driven about 13 mi to get here, and asked to see the service manager. Well… the manager never came, but supposedly gave his blessing to do it «this time». I went on to say that I’d write negative reviews on social media, and explained that this was no way to treat a customer — one who’d purchased the very vehicle that they were trying to have serviced from that very dealership. That’s poor customer service, as customers do not have to make or abide by appointments! Customers are the reason you’re in business, don’t mistreat them!

I recently dropped off my 2008 Ford Edge for some repairs. I was told by other Ford dealerships that it was going to be a week before they could get my car in, and then another week for the repairs. Ron Carter not only told me I could drop my car off the next day (Friday), it was ready by Monday evening! Also, they ended up charging less than expected which was nice because dealerships are notorious for being pricey. I dealt with Patsy, and she was great. There is also an Enterprise Rental Car office on site, which was very convenient. I will definitely be using them again for future services for my car.

I had an appointment for an oil change and a state inspection. I was at the dealership with four children (unavoidable). It took 3 HOURS. Unacceptable when I can go to a much closer place and have it done in 30 minutes.

I’m very pleased with the warranty service on my CTS. The young man that helped us was great, a real asset to Ron Carter. He called every day, gave me all the information and what to expect, I will seek him out when I have any other issues with my CTS.
they went above and beyond and in a timely manner with my warranty repairs, I will definitely be using them in the future (had previously used David Taylor and since their SW Fwy local closed, I went to Alvin, and so glad I did!!)
no to mention I’ve never seen my CTS look prettier when they cleaned it when the service was completed.

I was waited on immediately. I was informed during my wait about how much longer it would take. the only thing I would recommend is bottle water for those of us who don’t drink coffee. thanks!

My experience started off well, I was greeted by Mike Sallee in the service department. He was very friendly, I explained my problem and told him I had made an appt. online. I dropped off my truck after a quick once over with Mike and went on my way. I was later called by Mike explaining to me that my truck had 2 error codes. One that indicated something was wrong with the throttle body and the other was the gas pedal sensor. It was recommended to me that both should be replaced for the price of $ 1150.00. After the initial shock wore off, I told Mike to give me a few minutes and I would get back with him. I called two of Ron Carter’s competitors in the area and I was told by both of them that this could be fixed for 700 dollars. I find it ironic that their prices were very similar, but Ron Carter wanted an additional 450 dollars for the same service. I picked my truck up from Ron Carter because I felt I was being price gouged. This is also the same dealership I purchased my vehicle from! Enjoy the $ 138.26 you got from me for this because it will be the last penny I spend with your dealership. You competitor who was very honest would have been able to fix the throttle body by using a repair kit that cost 40 $. Unfortunately, I had already purchased a new TB based on your poor diagnosis and advice. So in conclusion, if I would of avoided you all together I could of had my truck repaired by an honest dealer for roughly $ 360.00. That is a far cry from the $ 1150.00 price gouge Ron Carter offered up. What really sickens me is the thought of someone like my Grandmother taking her car to you and you taking advantage of her. Luckily I received a second opinion, but what about those who take you at face value? Congratulations to you Ron Carter, you have lost a customer for life!!! I will tell my story to whoever will listen in this community and will refer them elsewhere!

Eric Helton was awesome! We really enjoyed our experience car shopping with him as our patient and friendly guide. I would shop here again for my next vehicle. :)

one hour wait for a oil change and tire rotation.

I always take my vehicle to Ron Carter for service. I realize that I can get service done anywhere else and sometimes for less money. However, the customer service I receive at Rob Carter is what keeps me coming back. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable.
The last time I took my vehicle in, I didn’t have an appointment and still got my vehicle serviced in less than the estimated time I was given.
As a previous reviewer stated, I have been in before and had to wait an extensive amount of time for an oil change, even with an appointment. It’s always been over an hour. However, I don’t mind the wait because I trust them to take care if my vehicle. I also know that they aren’t only changing the oil. They’re checking all of my fluids, tire pressure, etc. and making sure everything is topped off and in working order.

David goes over and above to get my service performed. Makes it a pleasure doing business with Ron Carter.

BEWARE:
About 10 months ago, my husband and I purchased a 2011 Chevy Texas Edition Truck from Ron Carter in Alvin which only had 7 miles on it. After 2 months, the truck started having problems. We took it in for service and long story short… we took our truck back several times for them to fix it. They replaced several items including the transmission. After a total of 45 days of being without our truck, they informed us that they were unable to fix the problem. Instead of going through the Lemon Law, GM stepped in and asked that we work with them. AFTER ALL OF THE PROBLEMS, THE SERVICE MANAGER (whom we had worked with on several occassions) SAID «THERE IS NO PROBLEM», only thing is we have it in writing that the problems was not fixable from the Technician who worked on our vehicle. Dumbass!
Going through GM would keep our experience out of the public eye. GM suggested that we call and talk to the owner directly, so we did, several times. My husband even went in and left notes on his desk to call us. He never called us back. After a very lengthy process, GM went to another Dealer… Norman Frede to provide us with a similar truck with a bed liner which we added after. The only catch was that we had to purchase a 2012 truck which added 6 more months to our purchase. GM gave a discount to Norman Frede for our trouble and to allow them to provide us the the same drive out price we paid for our LEMON. Of course they could not come to the drive out price we paid for our truck originally. So we ended up paying even more for the truck. But wait… they said our note will still be the same because they are now offering 0% financing. Sorry, but the numbers still do not add up… BOTTOMLINE…we got taken not once, but twice. Once from Ron Carter and another from GM. We are still paying more for a truck and for more months than we should have due to a LEMON purchase.
Reason I’m writing this is due to the recent commercials that state Ron Carter is proving a 5-​day Return Policy. Although on their website it does not provide a writen policy, BUYER BEWARE!!! They would not even talk to us when we had a problem. I’m sure they not no intention in providing this offer. They are CROOKS and don’t have to answer to customers. They will simply not communicate with you in hopes that you just GO AWAY!!!
RUN…don’t walk… To any other dealer than Ron Carter Automotive!
