We hired Critter Control to trap a raccoon that was using our attic as its new found home. The gentleman that came out after our call was quick to try to sell us on their service of «repair» to prevent this from happening again. It was pretty much a hard sell. We declined the repairs for the immediate moment. We contracted for them to trap the raccoon. The deal was they come bait trap and check everyday except weekends. For 10 days. «Yeah yeah we can trap it by then» we’d make final decision on «recommended repairs» after we saw how they did trapping the raccoon. Good decision on our part. They were never clear on when they came and went. I’m not even sure they did come 10 times. I called and the hard sell guy had left company and someone would get back to me. Never did. When bill came for services that attempted to trap we paid the amount minus $ 65. it cost us to buy a trap and catch the raccoon ourselves. I explained it all in a letter. They never called to discuss anything. They billed for the $ 65. We did not pay it — we waited until they put it in collection since then they’d get less having to pay for services. Never once did anyone call to discuss why we were dissatisfied. Thinking back on it — they wanted to «repair» not trap. My advice — check You Tube to find out how to trap yourself. Check local laws for what to do with animal you trap. FYI — crunchy peanut butter with mini marshmallows stuck in it was the best! Trapped on 2nd try!!!

Heard scratching in my walls one night and called Critter the next day. They quickly had someone out and then technicians the next day. Sealed any possible holes and removed the rat. Not cheap, but very good service, very worth it.

We noticed bats at our house in October, so I called Critter Control to come check out the situation. They came out very soon after I called, and the serviceman was thorough and professional. While the serviceman was here, he asked my son if he had gone trick-or-treating on Halloween the previous weekend. My son told him that he wasn’t able to go, because he had gotten sick on Halloween. When another Critter Control service technician came back to make the repairs and seal up the openings on our roof, he brought a large bag of Halloween candy for my son since he wasn’t able to trick or treat. We were so touched at the thoughtfulness! Not only did the Critter Control employees act promptly, professionally, and get the bat issue taken care of(reason enough for five stars), but they were thoughtful as well. Thank you!
