We love our new crib! A friend who’s owned a Crib4Life crib for a couple years recommended us to this store and we were sold almost instantly after seeing a demo. It was a little bit more than we originally planned on spending for the crib, but the safety gate that folds down and all of the convertible features that allow us to upgrade to a toddler bed(then a full bed) seem well worth it. I’m big on style BUT our favorite part is the changing table we thought was just a changing table, but actually flips over and turns into a dresser as our child gets older. AWESOME!!! All in all, we are very happy with our experience and choice. Delivery was painless. The furniture is original. We had a wonderful time working with a young gentleman, Mike, who was very helpful all 3 times we came in the store. Would highly recommend.

I should have checked Unilocal before buying the premium priced crib and dresser from this store. It sounds like everlasting furniture because of the 4 life part, but it’s really not. I am 3.5 years out and there are many reasons why people shouldn’t fall for their sales pitch and I will gladly share my experience with the product that Jim is selling unsuspecting parents who walk through his door looking for a better quality crib. #1 Turn around, leave, look elsewhere. #2 If you have the dresser beware that the drawers just fully collapse and fall apart entirely. See picture. # 3 The wood is so soft that it would most likely be very damaged by the time you turn it into a toddler bed and forget about turning it into a twin bed, unless you really like the ‘distressed’ look. The worst part about this whole experience is that Jim touts his product as being superior in quality, justifying higher prices, while in reality the cribs they sell at Wal-Mart are probably better, or about the same quality, and priced appropriately. It’s disappointing that supporting a local small business(probably franchise) poses such a disadvantage to the consumer.

Our crib and hutch were delivered without the overpriced crib mattress. We called several times and we were brushed off by Jim who said«we will deliver that right away», but did not give a date or return our calls. He was flippant, incompetent, and apathetic. Jim lacks human decency, never mind customer service skills. We bought a better crib mattress for half the price from and it was delivered within 2 days. Both my husband and I were frustrated with the process of buying furniture. We were given a referral from 2 different couples who along with us, will not longer be referring. Jim is a con artist. His furniture is inferior and I am angry I had to give him my money. He stole from us. The furniture was delivered covered in dust and I want a refund for the mattress. This is not over yet. I need a refund for the mattress and I really don’t want his ugly furniture in my house because I hate him. I wish I had read these other reviews before trusting him.

And of course the piece is delivered and left at the door, again not in a box, during a rain storm. Still has chips, dents and is filthy dirty. A white post with grease and scuff marks. If it arrived in a box it would probably not be chipped, dented, scuffed and dirty.

Bought our little girl’s crib and dresser set from Jim 7 years ago. He and the other staff were nothing but friendly and helpful. We were used to the pushy nature of sales people, and we’re expecting it here. We were pleasantly surprised to find that was not the case here. They offered help when we walked in, but let us browse in peace and didn’t push when we said we were still looking. We decided to go ahead and purchase a week later and put down a deposit. Due to financial reasons we didn’t come back to pay for the rest of it until after my baby was born, but they still remembered us and even though the price had gone up, only charged us for the price it was when we originally put the deposit down. We’ve now had the furniture for 7 years and have changed the bed to the full size and went back to get the rails to attach the head board to the foot board and not only did they still have our original purchase order so they could give us exactly the rails we needed, but they’re going to fix the drawer rails that have bent from use for free. I love these guys. When my kids have kids, I will buy them a crib from here and I recommend them to everyone I know who’s having a baby.

After posting this review and a negative review on Facebook, the delivery of the final item was finally scheduled. Just a shame it took complaints on social media to get anywhere.

I don’t even know where to begin. My experience purchasing this furniture has been nothing short of a nightmare. Jim the manager is the absolute worst. He’s rude and condescending and treats you like trash. I ordered my furniture 3 months ago and was promised it would be here in «2 weeks». Needless to say it was delayed. No courtesy phone call from Jim letting us know that it would be late. I had to follow up with him. And the nerve of me for doing so!!! How dare I question where my $ 2,000 purchase was! Jim did nothing but talk over me and deflect responsibility. I got one excuse after another. Weather, sickness of the delivery drivers, back order… you name it, I heard it. Finally… my furniture shows up… weeks later. Thank God! I was so excited to get it and finish my nursery and also to be rid of Jim forever. But guess what… it was damaged. Yep, damaged. You can only imagine my disappointment. Primarily because I knew what I was up against. I had to deal with Jim. Back to the damage on the furniture… Now, had I purchased this furniture from a thrift store, I’d expect dings and scratches, but when you pay a decent amount of money for brand new furniture and it arrives scuffed and busted, with WET touch up paint that doesn’t even match the furniture… it’s upsetting to say the least. I call Jim who of course dumps me into the lap of Baby’s Dream — the furniture manufacturer. See, Jim’s gotten paid on my furniture order and now he has no interest in helping me. That’s obvious. Baby’s Dream says they’ll order me a replacement but it’s on back order for a month. Of course it is. PS — Did I mention that my glider still hasn’t arrived? It’s only been 2 months. In the meantime the Baby’s Dream representative leaves the company and my furniture issue falls into oblivion. I contact Jim. As predicatable as ever, he gives me nothing but a bunch of excuses peppered with an attitude. Bottom line: Skip the headache. Buy somewhere else. And most importantly, avoid Jim and his sleazy, salesman promises. If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would… but it forced me to give at least 1 star.

my husband and myself were going crazy with all the CRAP(cribs) sold at babies r us and even Buy Buy Baby then we found Crib 4 Life, we were in heaven, if the Solid wood weren’t enough the Demo they give is simple a true life saver, i would HANDSDOWN recommend this too all my friends and family, and to tell you the truth i have. we have the Infinity Safety Gate crib and trust me its worth every penny, LOVELOVELOVELOVE Crib 4 Life. but don’t just take my option stop in and see for yourself.

Update: Jim, the manager, did offer us an upgrade which we took and that one was delivered promptly. That does not mitigate the weeks of my wife having to contact him for information on the product that was late. The delivery was on time and quick. However, of course, there is a mark/scuff on the wood. I just don’t have the energy to deal with it. Also, check the filtered reviews. I don’t know why they got filtered but I wish we had seen them before.
