We decided to get a pizza here after getting some gas down the street. The pizza and the service were amazing! We’ll be stopping by again on our next road trip.

You have to try this place! The owner is super nice and his pizzas are the best! This is one place I look forward to here in Alpine. Everything is fresh and perfectly made. Definitely hits the spots and always good!

After a few failed attempts to get a hold of the restaurant in the past I finally got the chance to taste this local pizza. It has been a long time since I had good pizza and this is by far the best I’ve had. I love that it’s a local, mom & pop shop. They use fresh ingredients which definitely adds to the deliciousness. The limited hours threw me off at first but I get it, it’s their second job which I admire even more. I will definitely be returning many times over — especially to fill in my pizza card!

Very nice man works there very friendly. Ordered one pepperoni pizza. First time here and probably last. Had no flavor very thin like biting a piece of cardboard. Sorry I’ll pass but super nice:)

I’m so so sad that I did not get to try their pizza. My Hubby, daughter, and I walked in and a man, whom I’m assuming was the owner was sitting there. He told us that his oven’s are broken due to the storm that happened last month. The roof had a leak and ruined his oven’s. So sad. He gave us a card for a free pizza and offered our daughter a soda before we left. We took the card and gave it to my Grandma who lives in Alpine. But we were just visiting for the week. Can’t wait to hear how my Grandma likes her free pizza. With a great owner like that it’s gotta be amazing.

Absolutely best pizza in Alpine and San Diego for that matter in my opinion. The owner is one of the nicest men you will ever have the pleasure of doing business with. He and his son make the most quality pizza my family and I have come to love.

Omg the pizza is sooo good! They guy the works there at nights was super awesome and friendly. I usually have trouble eating pizza because tomato sauce give me heart burns and surprisingly this one didnt… I’m thinking because the sauce wasn’t overwhelmed with alot of spices. I will definitely make this my friday pizza night. :)

We just tried this place for the first time yesterday and it was ok. Pro’s: –quaint little place –friendly staff –prices aren’t too bad Con’s –crust far too thin –pizza too greasy –pizza needs much more cheese –pizza needs a good sauce with flavor All in all… we’ll probably keep looking.

We just moved to Alpine, and have been trying out all the local places. Just ordered Vinny’s last night, and it was SOGOOD! I called to place an order for pickup. The woman on the phone was very nice, and said she could have the pizza ready in 15, which was perfect because my roommate was just leaving work. We are never ordering pizza anywhere else! The dough was perfect, and the cheese to sauce ratio was perfect. GOEATTHERE!

Really good family owned pizza place. Inside has two or three tables, really fast for pick up. We ordered a sausage and pineapple with garlic and basil added at the end. Super tasty. We will most definitely be back. Best pizza in Alpine.

I have seen the reviews for this place. It is a little far for me as I live in LA Mesa but I am dieing to try it. I am from the East Coast and finding pizza like they make there is next to impossible. So save me some, will get there soon as possible.

Possibly the best Pizza East of San Diego. They only make their crust thin so if you are not a fan, this isn’t the place for you. The pricing on their pizza is pretty decent as well.

New to Alpine and in the mood for some pizza. Decided to check out this cute little pizza joint and was not disappointed. VERY good thin crust. Exactly how my hubby likes it. I had the white pizza, as I am allergic to tomatoes. and let me tell you it is amazing. The people in here are so pleasant and wonderful to talk to. The wings are pretty dang tasty. tried HOT not adventurous enough to try OMG yet. We will definately be adding Vinny’s to our top list of places to eat.

Just moved to Alpine, and am SO glad we decided to try out Vinny’s. First of all, the pizza is awesome. The crust is perfect, the sauce has a great flavor, and the cheese to pizza ratio is right on. The service is amazing and welcoming as well; my boyfriend and I were debating on where to eat on a Sunday night, in Alpine, that wasn’t closed or closing. I had mentioned trying Vinny’s, he wasn’t in the mood for pizza. By some crazy chance, he changed his mind last minute and said pizza was fine. We pulled up to the front of Vinny’s and noticed a younger guy pulling down the umbrellas and thought we may had been too late. My boyfriend asked what time they closed and was told«Well we aren’t closed yet!» and were happily invited inside to order some pizza. The owner, greeted us and was as cool with us coming in so late to closing as could be. While ordering the pizza, he asked if we would like any sides, we said no thank you. He asked if we liked poppers, we said of course, and he threw in an order for free! While we waited inside, about 10 minutes later, he came up to us with a side of fried green beans too! He said he was sorry it was taking a bit longer(which I’m sure was actually out fault for coming in while they were shutting down) and to enjoy them on the house because of the wait. They were so good! I have never seen fried green beans lol Our pizza was finished and we took it and the poppers home and loved every single bite. So yummy, with the best customer service all around. I’ve seen some reviews saying that it’s a little on the expensive side, but I can honestly say that it’s worth every penny. You get what you pay for. Delicious New York style pizza, with an amazing friendly attitude. I won’t go anywhere else for pizza now. –Went back yesterday, after ordering by phone. I showed up a little late to pick up the pizza, but it was still perfectly hot! Still as amazing as the first time! (Order it with the basil and oil after they bake it, SO good!)

We were in Pine Valley for a visit, and wanted some food before the drive home. The owner of this place saw us looking at the menu and told us to try the white pizza– and if we didn’t like it, he’d make us a new pie. Well, we loved it, and loved his straightforward New York state of mind and attitude. It was a fun dinner and the food was great. We will be back!

Heeeey, what can I say. This place is pretty cool. The owner and son will talk to you the whole time the pizza is being made and be completely engaged with you — not fake. The pizza is NY style and I am a Chicago style fan hence the rating.

This is an updated review… I first rated Vinny’s a little higher cuz I figured they were the best in town(given that the other two establishments are commercial pizza chains). I wasn’t thrilled with Vinny’s pizza. I have had better, just didn’t think there was better in Alpine… I was wrong. You may want to try one of the other guys first. Just sayin.
