Alpine Country Day Infant & Toddler

My daughter attends Alpine Country Day and has had much success there. Not only are the staff members loving, patient, respectful and accepting of each child, they also teach the children to treat one another this way! I’ve found our experience enjoyable and pleasant and we look forward to each month to see what Miss Marlene has planned for that months’ activities.

My son attended Alpine Country Day this past year and it was such a great experience for my whole family. Many times my son would come home and tell me how much he loved his teachers — Ms. Amanda and Ms. Maryanne and that isn’t typical of my little guy. To say that he loved his teachers— I knew that this place was special. The staff was always personable, caring, kind, and at the same time professional and always open to ways in which they could improve their already stellar care. Julie and Marlene are wonderful in their roles as owner and administrator. They are extremely compassionate and caring in the running of their business. It has truly been a blessing to have had my son attend Alpine Country Day.

My son has attended ACD since he was 15 months of age (now almost 3). He began with Sheri and Melissa. Love them both. Small infant center and full of love. He currently attends preschool and is thriving. I researched a lot before placing my son in daycare. (Containing education for staff, discipline policy, turnover rate, length of program, communication). The owner and director truly love what they do and it shows in all aspects of the program. The teachers are kind, compassionate and professional. They have worked with me regarding my sons special diet and have been so flexible. One of their strengths is communication. This is a trait I value, especially in those caring for my child. He’s had a couple scratches (just scratches or bruises from playing… he’s ALL boy) and they CALL me or upon arrival immediately… bring it to my attention. A detailed calendar of events is provided to you. Also… there are two doors one has to go through before going outside. I like that… no chance for a little one trying to escape. Bottom line they’ve been in business for many many years. That speaks to their success and dedication. Give them a try and you will be thrilled you did.

My son attends ACDS. We live in Descanso and researched schools all over. I could not be happier with ACDS. All of the staff are the most kind hearted group. I am very very selective in every aspect of my children. They have so many fun activities for the kids and I have watched my son grow so much from attending this school. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. I would recommend ACDS to anyone wanting their kids to have a total and complete preparation for kindergarten. I am so happy my husband and I found them.

The owner, administrator, teachers and staff were ALL awesome and willing to learn about epilepsy and how to keep our precious son safe. While he attended he was actually in the throws of his disorder, having daily seizures. They were absolutely wonderful about taking us on. I could not be more grateful for their professionalism, maturity, compassion, willingness and kindness. It felt great to be included, to know that they actually cared about my son getting a good education. My son loved it here too. He had so much fun, stayed safe and learned a lot.
I cannot recommend this preschool enough. You will not be disappointed, especially if there is anything about your child that makes them different and special. Thank you so much.

The owner/​director and her team at ACDS have been absolutely amazing with my son and made magical memories for him including «Mud Day»!! They create the physical order 2 – 4 year olds require before going into kindergarten as well as implementing homework and skill assessments during their last year. I believe they are the most kind hearted, nurturing group in the whole Alpine area and feel grateful my wife and I found this amazing place.

my family has generations of children now that have gone to this day care. currently i have my two step kids there. it can use some modern remodeling… but still a trust worthy place for your children

My daughter has been attending ACDS since the beginning of the year. Like most parents, I was a complete mess when I dropped of my little girl for the first time. The staff told me I could come in and call anytime, which made me feel comfortable.
I have to say that it has been a wonderful experience for both myself and our family. The staff here take wonderful care of the little one’s and provide age appropriate activities per each age group. My daughter loves her class (2yr old +) and she always comes home with a smile :) Her teacher «Miss Nicole» is a caring and kind lady, I am always confident she is taking great care of my little girl.
Marlene takes care of just about everything, and she strives to make sure you’re up to speed (and on top) of your child’s development. I Being a first time mom, I had a lot of questions and concerns about so many things, Marlene is always ready to help with any concerns (which is reassuring)
This is not a regular «drop off day care» this is a school that prides themselves on the excellent care of your child. When it comes to the care of your child, you can be sure that they are in good hands @ ACDS

Everyone is awesome and they take very good care of your children. The director & owner of the place is great, all the teachers are good. My only problem is for preschoolers, the school only teaches 1 hour a day of true curriculum. What the teach is awesome, it’s the amount of time spent on curriculum is what bothers me. I know a lot of parents that absolutely adore this school. Yes, I have recommend this school to many people and all of them love it.
