THANK GOSH FOR THIS PLACE! Kris is always such a sweetheart every time I go in there. Carissa is constantly having to adjust my new glasses because I haven’t gotten used to them yet, and she is always happy to do it! Kris is such a fun person to be around, and they make you feel so comfortable!

This place is amazing! My dad was recently hospitalized after a terrible accident that left him bed bound and with broken, unusable glasses. Since my dad is a patient here I went in and talked to Carissa. She had his prescription but I had no way to get him to the office. Out of the kindness of her heart she came to my dad’s hospital bed and tried frames on him! Then when the glasses came in she delivered them to my dad! She went way beyond anything I could have hoped for! I would definitely recommend West Coast eyeware. Customer service is outstanding!

I am not a regular at optometrist’s offices, so I don’t have a lot to compare this place too. I went because of a pre-​existing eye injury that was re-​aggravated. I was very pleased with everything about this office. The staff was nice, and the doctors were very knowledgeable and friendly. Hopefully I don’t have to go to an eye doctor again, but if I do, I will come back here.

Awesome place I will always get my exams and eyeglasses there Carissa is the best she goes out of her way to make sure you’re very happy with your frames I would give it more stars if I could keep up the good work thanks for everything

I really like this office, especially Dr. Soriano. She is very nice and does a great job at making you feel comfortable. The staff are delightful, and they did not pressure me for extra services like they did at a competitor. I will continue to get my annual exams and glasses here.

Had my eye appt today and picked out new glasses. Everyone here is so welcoming and friendly. Kris at the front desk was able to get me on the schedule when I called yesterday, and was very flexible with me running late. Once I got there I had my eyes examined very quickly and efficiently by Dr. Soriano who is very sweet. Alex and Clarissa helped me pick out my frames and explained the itemized costs to me. I was told that I should consider progressive lenses but they listened and didn’t push it on me. I also appreciate Alex’s patience with my indecisiveness, and he didn’t try to push expensive frames but wanted to ensure the frames looked good on me. Everyone was fun and pleasant to talk to. What a great experience. I highly recommend west coast eyecare in Alpine!

I love this place! I was in fast and out fast with an eye exam, and Carissa helped me pick out a cute pair of glasses that I really liked in my price range. I am coming back for another pair of glasses when I get my next pay check. Not only did I get what I needed, but I really enjoyed my visit because the ladies working here are absolutely lovely! Wonderful! Thank you Carissa!

The ladies that work here are BEYOND nice and it was one of the best exams I’ve ever had. I called that morning and they were able to schedule me for that afternoon. I absolutely loved my frames and my total for glasses and lenses and exam was super cheap with my insurance and their selection of frames. My glasses arrived before promised and they called me immediately to let me know! I definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I have always found the staff and doctors at the Alpine location of West Coast Eye Care to be extremely helpful and courteous. They are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that I am happy with the contact brand and /​or glasses and frames purchases. With reasonable prices and a friendly environment, I don’t plan on going anywhere else for my optical needs.

I would give zero stars if that were even possible. WORST BILLING DEPARTMENT EVER. When I made the appointment, I had them check my insurance before hand, and was told I would have $ 0 copay for the exam. Since then, I have received SEVERAL notices of a bill due for $ 140. Each time I received a notice, I called their billing department, and each time was told they must have made a mistake and would re-​submit it. I just received another notice today now claiming I am 90 days late on paying them. In addition to this review, I will be filing a complaint against them with the BBB for their business practices in regard to billing. Stay away at all costs unless you want to deal with ridiculous bills months after your appointment.

I was excited to find an Optometrist office in Alpine since we usually have to drive at least a ½ hour for Dr.‘s visits. I was so dissapointed when «Chris» who answered my call displayed rude behavior when taking my information and responding to my questions. I spelled my address for her to ensure it was notated properly and she replied that «she knew how to spell.» When relaying to her exactly what my insurance covered she stated that, «she would see about that when she verified the insurance.» Behavior like this to a new client is unacceptable and I would never patronize a business who allows a client to be spoken to like I was. Alpine is a small town and I plan on spreading the word about my experience.

I have always had a wonderful experience at West Coast Eye Care. The customer service is great and I love my Doctor. She is the Best!!! Great prices and always there for me! Definitely will be sending my friends and family!!!
