Moved to Tampa a year ago and have seriously missed this place. Awesome margaritas! The Adobo quesadilla is wonderful. Wish the owners would open a restaurant in trinity fl. My husband had one of his favorite’s the enchiladas del a casa and it was great.

Authentic Mexican food w bright, welcoming atmosphere. Owner operated. Great meals: shrimp fajitas, red snapper tacos and fantastic guacamole. Plus huge margaritas and mojitos. We’ll definitely make this our go to local Mexican fix.

We stopped by here for lunch today and had an absolutely delicious experience! We sat outside on the patio and ordered two Texas margaritas on the rocks and an order of guacamole, the drinks were very good but the gauc was outstanding! We ordered the tacos de carnitas to share and the pork was cooked perfectly. The ingredients were fresh and everything tasted very balanced. We really enjoyed the fresh feel to all of the items we ordered and will be coming back here soon!

Started with the fundido and bad service; never made it to lunch entrees. Got the fundido loaded with huge chunks of mushrooms, onions and peppers. Read the menu description; knew that’s the way it was served and thought it was odd but hoped they had figured out a way to master an old Spanish favorite. Nope. They had not. A skim layer of cheese underneath a huge pile of filler. The server brought it out to us and before I could open my mouth to ask for the flour tortillas that came with it she was gone. We looked to the tortilla chips they brought with the salsa but they were crumbled pieces of chips the size of a quarter. When the server didnt come back I had to get up and go find her. She then brought us corn tortillas. Once again, I had to get up and go find her. At that point we were done. 5 tables on the patio and no tables in the restaurant. No excuse for terrible service.

This place is absolutely delicious. I’ve come here for work functions and personal meals. The food and service are always amazing. Tonight I ordered the shrimp fajitas and the shrimp were large and full of flavor. They were the best I’ve had in a while. They also make amazing margaritas and the salsa is delicious. I work close by, so I come any time I’m craving Mexican food.

Called and ordered take out, came home and wrong ordered. Called them again, they answered and double checked with the order and said right order but wrong food. I had to drive back to return the wrong order, picked up the correct one the came home. Had to reheat all food, but was so Good. No apologies, kinda disappointed but we will be back.

While the margaritas at this restaurant are tasty, the treatment of the costumers by the general manger leave much to be desired. I attended a work event at Taqueria Adobo on December 9th. I was Sexually Assaulted by a co-worker at the bar. There is a camera that is pointed directly where the incident occurred. The bar refuses to provide a copy of the video which would support my report to my company’s HR department. By providing the video this bar has the opportunity to, with minimum effort, take a position against this repugnant act. It is my opinion this bar does not place value in the legitimate interests of its customers. I hope that others join me in a boycott of this bar to stand up for Victims of Assault across our nation.

Great food, great atmosphere! The restaurant is comfortable and decorated nicely and I have never been disappointed with my meal. Currently my favorite restaurant in the area. I have not been on a weekend, but am hoping to check it out soon and try some margaritas.

Consistently delicious. I’ve never had a bad meal here, the service is great and the salsa is DELICIOUS! It’s so much better than anything else around. I’ve actually been coming here for years, but I can’t believe I’ve never written it up on Unilocal!Their patio is awesome(though sometimes the music can be a bit loud if you’re trying to chat). The fajitas are terrific, the guac is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. The Alambres — kabobs — are some of my favorite. Wonderful chimichurri sauce on them. They know what they’re doing and they do it well.

I must admit… I have a love for Mexican food that just can’t be tamed! I’ve been coming to Adobo since it opened, a little less frequently since I moved, but my whole family still loves to come here and relax at the bar We get the seafood quesadilla(its on the tapas part of the menu). Always delicious! I’m usually not a huge seafood fan but I get this every time. I love their chips. Sturdy, perfect to hold lots of queso/guacamole which are both delicious! Have always loved the staff. It may change sometimes but every bartender I’ve experienced has been awesome and I have nothing but nice things to say about the wait staff. Get a margarita. I love the skinny ones. Hands down my favorite in town. Glad I don’t live down the street or I may develop an addiction to this place!

I have been eating at Adobo ever since they opened many years ago. Their menu has changed throughout the years and so has their staff. I agree that it is a step above a typical casual Mexican restaurant. I enjoy coming to Adobo and have only returned once or twice since turning 21, so I can’t comment on their drinks. My parents have always enjoyed the alambres, but I don’t know if they are still served. The food is fresh and is tasty. Worthwhile if ever in the area.

food: good. one of the best shrimp quesadillas I’ve had in a long time. I will totally give them props on that. But…(and there’s some big ones) They have put a maroon awning over the patio, and I am here to tell you it traps heat like crazy. This is how hot it was: two people sitting out there asked the waitress if by any chance the heat was on. That’s how bad it is. And there are no fans to create any breeze or cool down the air. Not a fun way to spend an early-afternoon lunch. And the drinks. .. don’t venture outside the margaritas if you want a specialty cocktail. I ordered a Paloma, and it was a full cup of Squirt soda and a little bit of some well tequila(which it says differently on the menu). No lime, no garnish, no nothing. And the service. .. I could have very easily ordered 2 more drinks. I was there to sit, eat, and relax with some friends. NO one came by to ask us to refill our waters and teas, let alone making extra money off adult beverages. I’m not sure if they were down a few staff members, but for the amount of people in the restaurant, they were extremely slow and extremely inattentive. I’d like to go back to this place, but if I get service like this again, there are too many Mexican Restaurants to visit without this one being on the list. Step it up, Taqueria Adobo.

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Service is always good. Good margaritas. Our favorite is their fresh guacamole. Good prices. Our only complaint is the salsa is too ketchup — y

Let’s be honest, the restaurant selection in Johns Creek isn’t the best. This certainly does not belong in a category of its own. Do not get me wrong, it’s not a bad spot. The food is decent and it’s pretty chill, but the margaritas are over priced and not strong and the food is nothing to get excited about.

Mexican good is my weakness. Great Mexican food is my Kryptonite. Adobo is my Kryptonite. The atmosphere is great. They have a cool cantina bar outside. The food is AWESOME. My wife and I normally split the supreme nachos which include chicken, beef, beans, jalapeños, sour cream, and guacamole. It’s a pretty big plate so it’s great for sharing I’ve only had drinks here a couple times, but when I have they were made very well and very prompt with the service.

We’ve now visited this place 4 – 5 times in the first month or so of living down the street. I was actually surprised I haven’t written a review yet. The food here is phenomenal. Best burrito(Burrito Loco) and nachos(Nachos Supreme) anywhere in town. I’ve also tried the chimichanga, which was pretty good. Never tried the margaritas, but the beer and tequila selections are good. So what if the prices are a little high? We’ve learned to get chip, salsa & cheese dip, then share an entrée. We’re both happy and feeling satisfied when we leave. Mostly, it’s just the two of us, so we’re seated right away. Once we brought a group of five at 7:30pm on a Friday and had to wait, but it was only about 15 minutes. I agree with a recent review that entitled suburban idiots who bring their kids to restaurants with a bar DONOT get to seat their kids at the bar to eat dinner. Wait with the rest of us and let the bar patrons have their seats. There is no reason not to try this place, if you haven’t already done so.
