Great Wonton soup and the best chicken and broccoli I’ve ever had(not just broccoli but water chestnuts and bamboo too which I love). Dumplings are lacking and spicy dumpling were particularly unimpressive. I’ve never eaten in, but always very quick and super friendly with take out. Come for the soup and chicken with broccoli!

I’m sure a lot of people will like this place, it’s just not my personally preferred style of Chinese food. I wasn’t a fan of the batter on the chicken, my General Tso Chicken wasn’t crispy, more like soggy. But the spring roll was great and so was the soup.

Finally found a great Chinese restaurant! Egg rolls are not greasy at all with plenty of filling. Chicken and broccoli just delicious with tasty brown sauce. The servers were very attentive. Everything looked and tasted fresh and yummy!

I came out of an evening movie and was hungry, because I hadn’t eaten dinner. Alpharetta is not exactly a hopping place at night, so I was fortunate to find this not only close-by but still open. I placed an order to pick up pot stickers and vegetable spring rolls. The lady who took my phone order was pleasant and confirmed my order. She told me it would be 10 minutes. Because it was so close, I arrived in less than 10 minutes and expected to pay and wait. The food was ready when I arrived. There weren’t many people in the restaurant, but I expected that being so late in the evening. The food itself was very good. I would like to visit again and dine inside so I can try one of the entrees.

Best hot ‘n’ sour soup you’ll ever have. I shit you not. Other than that, the service is good, atmosphere is pleasant, and the other dishes are above average. But seriously, 5 stars just for the soup. Get the soup. The one that’s both hot and sour. It’s too good. You probably don’t even deserve soup this good. Do you even bother to compost your own feces? Look… it’s ok, most people don’t. Just get the damn hot n sour soup. If you come in for lunch you can get it as part of a meal, which is nice.

I had lunch with my mother here and I enjoyed the food completely, the taste was delicious. Price was reasonable and there were many lunch choices. However this Chinese restaurant is in a very nice shopping centre and city, I honestly believe that the owners could invest in remodeling. Everything looks old. I had very low expectations upon arriving. Yes, I judged the book by its cover but it’s only fair to their faithful clients.

The food here is a excellent. We were happy the Cheesecake Factory had a long wait, because we came here instead! The hot and sour soup was really good. You have to try the crunchy role!

WORST Chinese food ever! Steamed dumplings were cold and rubbery, sizzling rice soup broth was gelatinous and the sauce on the walnut shrimp looked like it was served straight out of a can. Save your money and do NOT eat here!

Decent food, good prices, and great location. There were plenty of options to choose from. The service was good and the food came out quickly. I’m removing two stars because I’ve had a lot better Chinese food.

We love coming here before or after a movie. Food is delicious, service friendly and speedy, and no crowds! I don’t understand how PF Changs is teaming with wait listed diners and we can breeze right in here!

This has become a reliable spot for Chinese-American food. Nothing adventurous about this place but a quick and easy place to get a fix.

So, I try this place just because it was close to my office, Not good at all, I think it’s more american then Chinese, over seasoning with salts and soy sauce, Take forever to get your food. Rather drive further to Duluth area to get some authentic Asian food.

Went for lunch on a Sunday @ 12:15, the place was not busy. $ 14.95 for lunch? I know this is Alpharetta but… The service was fine– but what gives this a 1 star was the food. My friend ordered the ‘chicken with crispy spinach’. Sounded good, presentation was pretty, but the spinach had been fried in very old grease and tasted horrible(to the point my friend was afraid of being sick later). Nowhere did it say the chicken was ALSO fried, it was heavily breaded, so double fried– the sauce was tasteless. I ordered the ‘spicy’ szehuan(sp) pork. I have had tv dinners spicier. The ‘pork’ I considered taking home to my dog as a chew toy. It had obviously been microwaved(cold in the middle), very bland(the onions really looked liked leftovers from Saturday. Oh, the fortune cookies were fresh(not stale). I will not go back. Mall food would have been better.

If you read my last review, you can tell I had a real hankering for some Chinese food and I never got it. In an attempt to satisfy my Chinese-food craving, we stopped by here on Friday night for dinner. First off, we’ve lived in this area for years and have always wanted to try this place, so this was our first visit. Even the rainy weather we got last Friday could deter us! When you walk in, you immediately think the place is much bigger than it is, because the upper-half of the walls are lined with mirrors. It took a moment for my eyes to realize that the restaurant isn’t huge, but decent size. The overall color theme here is a light red hue — not pink, but not red — an in-between color that’s easy on the eyes. The place is dimly light, just enough to help to slow down and enjoy your experience. The place had a handful of other occupied tables and we were seated immediately. Our server, an older gentlemen, was the epitome of efficient. What he lacked in mannerisms, he made up for in efficiency. Before our drinks ever came, our server dropped off two small plates of pickled cucumbers. Chunks of cucumbers marinated in vinegar, but not quite yet pickles, are soooo good to me! I practically inhaled them. Our server also brought us some hot tea. We started off with some lettuce wraps. The wraps come premade — all you have to do is pick up the lettuce and fold it over to eat. Chunks of pork, scallions, onions and seasoning were scooped onto large leaves of iceberg lettuce. No complaints here! Those lettuce wraps were perfect to start the meal, especially when you topped it with the peanut sauce that came with it. I ordered the beef and broccoli(which I didn’t get from North Peking), and my husband orders the Moo Goo Gai Pan. We waited maybe ten minutes for our food, but it felt like forever because I was starving. I did enjoy the atmosphere while we waited though, very soft music was playing in the background, the lighting, the overall quietness of conversations. It was really nice. And the hot tea was spot on, especially in the nasty rainy weather. Our food arrives, family style. A beautiful place of beef surrounded by broccoli florets. A large bowl of steamed white rice. And my husbands food. We tore into the food like it was our last meal. We ate it all. There were no leftovers. I piled my plate with white rice and covered it with beef and broccoli then smothered it in duck sauce and hot mustard. The beef was deep fried and had good texture and taste. The sesame flavor was good — not overpowering, but enough to get the flavor. The broccoli was steamed perfectly, tender but still with a crunch. My husband’s food was really good too, especially the white wine sauce that came on top of everything. I tried a few pieces of his and really loved the veggies. We weren’t in a rush and it took some time to finish all the food. During dinner, our finished plates were promptly removed, our drinks were constantly being refilled and our tea was refreshed with hot tea upon request. We took our time and enjoyed everything. When we were done, we were bursting at the seams. We definitely overate. Overall, this place is a really good spot with good food. The food won’t blow your mind, but it’s what you expect and it’s decently priced. The ambiance is really nice and the service is fast. We will definitely be back to try some other menu options.

Superior Wok is, I think, an inaccurate name; I’d call it Mediocre Wok. I ordered the chicken fried rice and I was quite disappointed. The chicken was overcooked and soggy, the rice was poorly cooked, and the seasoning was nonexistent. My party was similarly displeased with their meals. We doused everything in sauce to give it at least some flavor, then vowed to never return. My fortune cookie read«Soon, someone will make you very proud.» It’s likely not someone at Superior Wok.

Wifey and I were craving Chinese, and this place seemed to be a decent place… wrong! The service was quite slow and the food… well, let’s just say that they know how to use salt and sugar. No other flavors were detectable with either wifey’s Sweet and Sour Chicken or my Shrimp Lo Mein. This one is simple… don’t!

I’ve passed Superior Wok many times. It’s in the shopping mall with Target across from the mall. I’m always a little nervous about a Chinese restaurant in a strip mall. I am happy to report that I had no reason to be. It was not busy at all and super quiet. The wait staff was quick and we were in and out with time to spare. The food was very good. I wished I lived closer so I could order it for dinner delivery! The décor cracked me up, all pink and mirrors… very ‘80s. Don’t be nervous, give it a try!

Chinese in the heart of Georgia is a somewhat iffy proposition, but since it’s the ATL metro area, I suppose a Chinese restauranteur could do well enough, since they could get their hands on good ingredients. Superior wok actually reminds me of pretty decent Chinese joints in the SF Bay area — and as a relative comparison to most places in the ATL area, that’s saying quite a bit. Anyhow, don’t let the strip mall location deter you — these guys have really yummy offerings! I really dig the variety. Walnut shrimp was great, as was the eggplant dish we tried. And mmmm… noodles!
