Writing another review because this experience was much better than my last. I went here at lunch today to grab a gluten free cupcake. I was pleasantly greeted by a very sweet lady who was quite helpful and informative as it related to all of the gluten free options. I went with the strawberry and I have to say it was delicious!!! Although I will probably never go back to the permitted mall location, I will definitely hit up the windward parkway location again!

We stopped by the Windward Pkwy location tonight and picked up three mini cupcakes… Ultimate chocolate, chocolate chip cookie dough and salted caramel. They looked delicious in the case, but when we got them home and bit into them… STALE! The cupcakes were hard and crumbly on the top portion not covered by frosting and along the liner. They tasted as though they’ve been sitting there for the better part of the week. The only part I enjoyed was the caramel drizzle. I’m sorry, but if you own a cupcake shop, you need to make sure your cupcakes are fresh. If that means smaller batches and purging every 2 – 3 days(I don’t know what the fresh shelf life of a cupcake is…), then you have to take the loss and toss the cakes! It’s too bad because Jilly’s is just around the corner from my house and I was imagining stopping by for a mini treat more often, but not anymore. Instead of asking which flavor is the cashiers favorite(which I like to do), you should ask which, if any, were baked that day!

I went in to Jillys the other day, I was greeted by a very nice and helpful girl Chelsea. She was very knowledgeable about all the cupcakes, knew how to describe them. And made good recommendations. Jillys chocolate cupcakes are a brand new recipe which are very moist and delicious! I will definitely go back!

I bought cupcakes for a family birthday dinner. We typically do not eat sweets, so we were looking forward to a treat. We could not have been more disappointed. All 4 cupcakes were so dry. The only somewhat edible one was the carrot cake. I probably should have looked at on-line reviews before wasting $ 15 for icing coated sawdust.

Absolutely TERRIBLE! you’ll get a boxed cake cupcake and a mile high pile of frosting. They try to pass that crap off as homemade. It’s absolutely terrible!!!

Sorry to say that the cupcakes are too dry… The icing tasted artificially flavored. Wish they can improve their cake base. Hope they doing well. Sorry just not my type of cake.

The cupcakes here are decent and the people are nice. If you want something one step up from krogers cupcakes than I would recommend this place. The gluten free is a nice option. Not too many choices, they should have more of a variety instead of the same cupcakes.

My husband surprised me with these monstrous cupcakes. I Had the red velvet, and I couldn’t wait to take a bite. Wow. was a I ever disappointed. They were incredibly dry. I really wanted to like these, but the lack of flavor and dryness spoiled the experience. Time to move on to the next shop.

Warning! Do not attempt this cupcake shop if you are seeking a good tasting dessert. Yuck. This overpriced cupcake shop is no good! The prices are extremely high. $ 3.50 for 1 cupcake and 2.25 for a mini cupcake. The quality does not match the pricing. The cakes are awfully dry and the frosting tastes weird. We tried a salted caramel cupcake and a vanilla bean cupcake. Both bleh. My child didn’t even want it and advised not to return to this place again. They have several flavor choices and they offer cheesecakes for $ 4.00, but bad taste + high pricing = no bueno in my book. Sorry Jilly. Epic Fail.

These cupcakes are okay. They sorta of remind me of Camicakes(some may disagree) but Jillys has better flavors. I tried 4 mini cups… birthday cake, salted carmel, chocolate, and red velvet. Yes, they were a little dry but i still enjoyed the taste of them all. The icing is packed on top but its good too… hey I have a high tolerance sweet tooth. I will be going back to experience a few other flavors.

They are ok cupcakes, but the really nice people make the place, not the cupcakes.

Red Velvet Cupcake: Dry, Dry, and Dry. The icing was so sweet it gave me a headache. I was disappointed because it is the only cupcake bakery in the area.

Sorry about this but I purchased 4 of the cupcakes, got home and was cutting it in half, because they are big. As I took it apart I found a long hair baked into the cupcake. I am one to just give up. I will always give my support to my local establishments. I gave it one more go. only to be disappointed once more, found the cupcakes to be dry and tasteless.

I bought a Living Social deal for Jilly’s and I’m glad I got them as a deal. I think the cupcakes are rather bland, and they’re nothing spectacular. I agree with another reviewer that said the cupcakes are dry. I wasn’t impressed and won’t be back.

Wow, from high in chocolate content, to glutten free, this place makes each cupcake like a work of art. not only they look EXTRAGOOD(coming from a guy who doesnt like sweets), the taste is magnificent. Small location and kind of hidden. would very much recommend to try to find.

Cute shop, meh cupcakes. I was hoping to like this place. It’s a closer than Cami’s or Endulge Cupcakes, but I would rather drive an extra hour and have a better experience. As mentioned by others, while the cupcakes very attractive, they were dry and unexceptional. Service is good.

I was in the Alpharetta area for a few days & whenever I’m traveling to a town for business or pleasure I always try to find the local«cupcakery» to give them a try since I’m a huge cupcake fan. So did just that… got the Android out & googled cupcakes and it pointed me 3 minutes away to Jilly’s. Upon entering the place is just a small store front but pretty cute and the cupcakes look great displayed organized and with all of their colors in a row. I ended up trying the salted caramel, red velvet, cookies & cream and the dark chocolate. The salted caramel was good. You could definitely taste the salt — I got the most saltiness from the caramel that was drizzled along the top. The Red Velvet frosting for me was too rich & I unfortunately could only do a couple of bites before tossing. So I’ll list a few pro’s and con’s from my experience at Jilly’s: Pro’s –Cute store –Nice staff –Great selection –Flavorful cupcakes –Large Con’s –Thought the price of $ 2.75 per is a bit steep –Red Velvet was on the drier side –Some of the frostings were too rich(and for this huge sweet tooth says alot) I got my friend a carrot cake cupcake & he said the frosting was phenomenal. I’m glad I got the chance to sample Jilly’s. It filled my cupcake craving for sure. More pro’s than con’s and I wish them much success!

I’m such a sucker when it comes to deals! I’ve been going through a cupcake phase so when I saw a living social deal for this place I decided to purchase two deals. $ 8 for $ 16.50 worth of cupcakes. At $ 2.75/cupcake(before tax), I got 6 cupcakes. I wish I wasn’t so gluttonous and only stuck with purchasing one deal because not only is this place so far away from me, I’m just not a fan of their cupcakes. The cupcakes here are a decent size. The frosting to cake ratio is a little overwhelming for me and the frosting is too sweet for my liking. The cakes themselves are super dry! I tried the following flavors: +Red Velvet– Your typical red velvet cupcake. Nothing special and very dry. The cream cheese frosting wasn’t mixed well enough at all. There were chunks of cream cheese throughout the frosting. +Salted Caramel– Dry. The caramel buttercream frosting was a little too sweet for my liking. +Strawberries n Crème– Dry. There were hardly any strawberry bits in the cupcake and the frosting once again, was too sweet. +Smores– The marshmallow frosting was definitely«light as air» as advertised. The chocolate cake was dry. +Chocolate Fudge Sundae-This was the driest cake of them all. The fudge filling was sparse and didn’t help with the dryness of the cake at all. I did like the vanilla bean buttercream. +Blueberry Cream Pie– This one was probably the least dry of all of them thanks to the blueberry filling. It looks like I’ll be giving away my other living social deal!
