Absolute best chicken salad ever! I love all of the different types/combos available and their grape salad is delicious!

Another nice little gem up in Alpharetta. 4.5 outta 5 Came here for lunch at around 11:45. Only a few people sitting down eating and no one in line, but it started to pick up as I was leaving. Service was great. They let you try anything before you order. Each chicken salad is made with the Original as the base. The chicken salads use finely shredded chicken and mixes with mayo and their secret ingredients/spices. I much prefer shredded chicken over diced, just easier to eat. I got the Chick Trio which is any 3 scoops of chicken salads or side items. So you can get 3 scoops of salad or 2 scoops and a side or whatever combo. I got a scoop of the Barbie-Q, Original, and Kickin’ Kay Lynne. All of them were really great with my favorites being the Original and Kickin’ kay. Very filling meal. I got half way through it and was satisfied. I think anyone would have a hard time finishing all of it in one sitting. Pretty good bang for your buck. If you enjoy chicken salad, I would definitely. Only reason I’m not giving it a 5 is because it’s right next door to a Piece of Cake… and i’m weak.

The recipes are delicious but if you are eating at the Alpharetta location, BEWARE of things in your food. A couple of months ago I picked up two different types of chicken salad in the bowls. While scooping out a bite with a cracker I found(and had been unknowingly eating) finely ground bits of the wax paper they must use to store or make the chicken salad with. Needless to say I was grossed out and have never been back. Just got a call from a friend who ordered a sandwich to go and once back to her office found a bug in her sandwich which then prompted me to write this review. These people are clearly being careless in the kitchen. Be careful people!

I like the bright atmosphere of the restaurant. The food is excellent and I love the different choices of salad. I love the grape salad and broccoli salad. All of the chicken salads are great. The outside is nice too.

Solid experience. Quick and friendly service, yummy chicken salad. I had the Dixie chick on a croissant. Very fresh and delicious. I’ll be back the next time I’m in the mood for chicken salad.

This place is absolutely awesome if you’re a chicken salad fan! The restaurant is clean, bright, and friendly. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We had the sassy Scotty and fancy nancy salads, and the broccoli salad. The kids had pb&j sandwiches with fruit. All meals were a great value for the price.

Tried chicken salad chick for the first time on our way to Florida and just found out they have a place pretty close to our house. The chicken salad is delicious and love all of the choices. Very quick service. I would give it 3&½ stars overall, i will change my starts to 4 or even five if they could have better bread. The bread is substandard like getting from a grocery store, very dull and boring. Lack luster when you taste how good the actual chicken salad is.

Pretty darn good! Very casual dining area with a patio as well. My experience was very pleasant with a cheerful young lady(Kayla B.) offering helpful suggestions. I ordered the trio with two chicken salad choices and fruit salad. All fresh and delicious. I will be back!

I was surprised at how good this restaurant was, to be honest. As a bona fide meat eater I was worried that this mayonnaisey concoction might destroy it, but I thoroughly enjoyed my pimento cheese sandwich and fresh fruit. My wife’s chicken salad sandwich was also really good, and the staff was all very polite and enjoyable to talk to. The dining room was a little full, but everyone was pretty accommodating with giving up tables/chairs as needed. Another great point… it’s next to Piece of Cake, so dessert is pretty easy to decide on!

I’m visiting the area and thought I would try something new. I was not disappointed. I had the chicken salad with broccoli slaw and the grape salad. Everything was so delicious! The best part is you don’t leave there feeling like you ate crap. I’ll be returning next time I’m in that area.

The chicken salad was great here! I got the trio and tried 2 different salads and the pimento cheese — Kickin’ Kay Lynn and the Sassy Scotty. The Kay Lynne was my favorite by far! Who knew you could put that many other ingredients in chicken salad and it would still be amazing?! I will say they were really busy at lunch — we got there just before the rush on a Friday so luckily their wait wasn’t too bad. Also, the parking can get a little hairy, as there are a bunch of shops/restaurants in this area. Definitely will be back again soon!

This is by far the best chicken salad I’ve ever had. The trio is the way to go. All of them were very flavorful. I’ll definitely be back.

I’m a guy… and not afraid to admit. Yeah…I like chicken salad. Never seen a restaurant themed around chicken salad before. I’ve been here several times and try a new flavor each time. Never disappointed. No… There are not many fellas in here. More of a ladies scene(mid thirties, stay at home mom and drive a Benz scene). So if your ok with that guys head on over and grab a sandwich!

I’ve been coming since they opened and they were great until today. The luster of being new has worn off. They ran out of tea and had no cookie options available for someone allergic to the cookie of the day. The chicken salad is still good but the service has started to decline. Disappointed

I almost caused a scene when I stumbled across this gem, I was so excited. I used to frequent the original in Auburn on the reg — such an awesome establishment. Whatever you decide on, you won’t be disappointed — my personal favorites are: Buffalo Barclay, Sassy Scotty and Jalepeño Holly. Oh, and try the grape salad, and never never pass up the cookie.

[TL;DR] a boutique-feeling chain, specializing in chicken salad-based entrees. a decent place to go if it’s on the path. definitely worth trying and is unique enough to get your attention. first of all, this is a well done chain. you wouldn’t expect that it is. the appeal in décor and style could be described as feminine — which is cool. it’s an at-the-counter ordering spot with menus available when you walk in. prepare to be little bit overwhelmed if its your first time. there’s a large variety of chicken salads and other things to choose from. there are 15 different types of chicken salad alone. don’t worry though, the service is great. they’ll give you samples of any chicken salad you want to try and the soup if you’re up for it. seating choices include a sparse selection of booths. the rest are standard table and chairs. the patio seating is a nice option — when it’s not 95 degrees out. THECHICKENSALAD we ordered a couple of different types for variety: olivia’s old south and the kickin’ kay lynne. olivia’s old south is exactly what you expect from chicken salad — eggs and a bit of sweetness from the sweet pickles. had it on a croissant which did not disappoint. the kickin’ kay lynne is of a different variety — buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing, cheddar, bacon, and jalapenos. it was good. from what they tell me, it’s one of their most popular. for good reason. had it on sour dough. it was a tad on the dry side. THESOUP today’s special was chicken artichoke, a nice cream-based soup with a faint bit of spicy. i think i enjoyed it most. THECOOKIE meh. take it or leave it. it was baked well, but didn’t really spike my dopamine levels. :o) at least it’s a reasonable price –and– a size that doesn’t resemble a car tire. my sandwich and salad combo was 5.75. add a .95 cookie, and you’re talking about a very reasonable meal cost. if you choose, you can get stuff by the trough to take home. if chicken salad isn’t your thing, they have a small selection of other stuff to cater to spouses who get dragged along. paltry though. good addition to the area. happy to see it.

Yum! 16 different versions of chicken salad, all of which sound delicious. I tried the«Kickin Kay Lynne» which has buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, cheddar cheese and jalapeño. I got mine on a croissant(habit of a southern girl) and a cup of chicken and rice soup. Really really good. They also offer non chick salad deli sandwiches and a couple of sides. The décor inside is super girlie… So guys beware if you aren’t with your lady. The service was really friendly and they encouraged sampling which was nice. Variety of chick salads are offered ready to go by the pound in a convenient cooler by the register. Welcome to the neighborhood!
