Great potential! Awesome location but Thursday night karaōke is the worst!!! Drove us and more than half the patrons out of the bar!

I have been to the Alpharetta and Roswell locations several times. The Alpharetta location is larger and I think they have a hard time managing the size /volume of customers. The service is almost always slow… drinks especially. Food is actually very good and consistent between both locations. The last few times we’ve been in the Alpharetta location it almost looks like there is no manager, it’s just a bunch of college kids running the place and no one is in charge. This could be part of why the service is lackluster. If they could get the staff to really get in line and step up their game this place would get much more business.

Been there twice… waited for cold food the first time. Just left after not getting our food an hour after we ordered. Drinks are good… but a monkey can make a good drink. Will never go back.

Literally the worst service I have ever experienced. Our server was a trainee who was supposed to have been shadowing, but ended up taking«care» of our table the entire time. We didn’t even hear a peep from the actual server until roughly 80% of the meal was completed when he apologized for his trainee(we requested that he oversee the trainee at this time). The drinks came out wrong, the guacamole came out with no chips, our ceviche clearly wasn’t entered and took 20 minutes to come out, only 2 of the 6 meals came out correctly, and the main server couldn’t get the bill to correct. Literally each of the 6 people dining described it as their worst dining experience. We discussed nothing but how laughably bad the service was; seriously no other topic was discussed. I don’t understand why we even stayed; hunger I suppose. This is from a high level as I could write the equivalent of a short story as to how bad of an experience we all had. Avoid this restaurant at all costs as not only was the service poor the food was at absolute best mediocre.

I’ve really enjoyed everything I’ve had so far at Ceviche — fish tacos, a chimichanga, the rice & beans, even the chips & salsa. The tacos seemed pretty fresh & the beans & rice were well seasoned. Salsas can be a matter of personal taste, but I thought the salsa here was a good balance of spicyness & thickness. Give Ceviche a try!

Food was good, but it was the worst service I have had in a long time. Clearly no management whatsoever. Great kids as wait staff and hostess staff, though.

It was tough to give it 3 stars as my main meal was terrible but my other 2 table mates said their food was good. The crevice is good, the salsa is good but do not get the beef chimichanga. Yuck. The meat was like eating shoe leather and salty. I ordered the chicken but got the beef. Since the service was so slow I ate it as I never would have gotten the chicken before everyone else finished their meal. There were more wait staff than customers and most stood around talking. There were two hostesses, one with long brown hair was good the other petite with long brown hair stood around singing and dancing to the music and did little work. Very unprofessional. If I were the manager she would have been let go. m I doubt I will return.

This restaurant is two blocks from my home and has two outdoor seating areas. So, I really wanted to like it. When they first opened, the service was attentive and food was above average. Their margaritas do not begin to compare to those of another Mex restaurant in the downtown Alpharetta area but we’re ok. The past several visits have been so disappointing that we will not be returning. With the exception of a few employees working behind the bar, the staff seems to be much more interested in socializing with each other than doing their jobs. Service is horrible. The food is inconsistent. There are much better options in the area.

I came here just before the dinner rush on a Saturday. I was a bad Unilocaler and didn’t bother to read the reviews before coming. It was probably better that way since my experience was completely the opposite than the previous reviews. I had been to their location in Roswell which was just a so-so experience. I opted to check out the Alpharetta location since it’s local and seems to always have a bustling crowd on the patio. The location is great. As the weather warms up, this will be the perfect little spot for people-watching on their front patio. Service was great although I did find that there are definitely some new restaurant kinks that need to be worked out. For instance, our server didn’t know what was in some of the menu items or the prices on a few of the drinks. Otherwise, service was quick and friendly. Food was pretty good. I had the fish taco but swapped out fish for fried shrimp. It was great with the chipotle mayo. I actually found the food to be comparable to Pure. The salsa accompaniment to their chips was decent. Not the best I’ve ever had — that award goes to On the Border’s salsa(I know… I’m weird) — but it’s ok. I’d come back again.

It’s not that I dislike this restaurant — I actually love the location and layout, but it suffers in comparison to another local coastal Mexican joint. We’ve tried Ceviche twice. Here are my thoughts on our experience: FOOD — the house margarita is just OK — the skinny margarita is really good — the beef stew is awesome — the shrimp tacos are uninspiring but the Mexican rice rocks — complimentary chips and salsa are meh SERVICE — bar service is good — table service is iffy on efficiency but very friendly — host/hostess are on top of things LAYOUT/LOCATION — location in downtown Alpharetta is prime, especially for the new homes just built — layout on the inside is large(noisy) with bar seating as well as tables — two outdoor seating areas: a small covered front porch and a much larger covered side porch(Disappointing note: our server couldn’t tell us if the side porch was dog friendly… other local restaurants’ outdoor areas welcome pooches) — parking is available on the street, in the public lot just behind the restaurant or in the new parking deck at the new courthouse(about a two block walk) We’ll stop in occasionally to see how things progress, but I don’t see it becoming a specific destination for us the way Hop Alley or PURE Taqueria are…

Well, ate at this location for the first time. Quite frankly, you guys need to step it up if you are going to stay in business. You have la parila, el Felix, and pure all within a 2 mile radius which are great spots. In my opinion, you can always tell the quality of a Mexican restaurant by there salsa. Yours left a bit to be desired. My main entrée was the chipotle chicken wrap and you forgot to put the chipotle sauce on it. The location is great, a bit hidden, but certainly a prime spot in downtown alpha. I will give this place another shot during the spring.

/TL;DR Just not what I had hoped for. It tries too hard to be something in downtown Roswell or inner city. Doesn’t work in Alpharetta. I might try it again when the weather warms up though so I can enjoy the al fresco option. /ATMOSPHERE Loud and bar-like. If that’s your thing, welcome home! We were seated in the back where it quickly grew crowded with patrons standing around, drinking their beer and elbowing me constantly as I sat on the most uncomfortable hightop an engineer could design. /FOOD The main courses, chimichanga and chicken poblano tacos, were pretty good. The chips and salsa — not my favorite. They have daily specials so keep your eye on those. /SERVICE Great. Very friendly. HOWTOREADMYREVIEWS: 1 Star — Does not approach edible. Enter at your own risk. 2 Stars — If I’m in the area, I’d pick something else. 3 Stars — I would stop by if I happen to be in the area. 4 Stars — I would pick this place out of other places nearby. 5 Stars — I would go out of my way to dine here.

Looking at the other reviews, we must have hit this spot on a good day. Three of us ate here for lunch and we all loved it. Fish tacos and Quesadillas were our orders and my tacos were delicious. Our server, Amanda, couldn’t have been better. She quickly took our drink orders and got our queso out to us in a flash. My fish tacos were delicious and my coworker loved his as well. I’ve been to the one in Roswell, but I like the Alpharetta location better. They have a really nice patio that is going to be packed during the summer nights. I’ll be back for some margaritas real soon.

This review is based on only one visit, but we won’t be returning for a second. Our waiter was«checked-out» and wasn’t able to answer any of our questions, he seemed to not really care about his job at all. The food followed the same bored attitude. The Chicken Tortilla Soup was odd, a huge mound of shredded chicken and a little bit of broth poured over with zero flavor. The Mahi Ceviche was a huge portion and incredibly plain. To be honest, we left confused and disappointed.

This little gem is located in downtown Alpharetta. The décor is nice and they have daily specials to please any pallet. This staff is exceptional often providing top notch service to their guests. The food is a great addition to other restaurants hosted in the downtown area. I would highly recommend you give this restaurant a try.

I’ve been to this location twice. The first experience was pretty good. The girl behind the bar was friendly, attentive, and our drinks were great. The second experience was actually a little weird. A different girl behind the bar this time, and even though there weren’t plenty of empty seats at the bar, it took her several minutes to acknowledge us and ask for our drink order. The margaritas came quickly, but we both agreed they were too sweet. The water I asked for took much longer, even after asking a second time. We ordered the queso, which we had enjoyed the first time and it was great the second time too. Then we ordered some shrimp tacos, and asked for a side of the chipotle sauce mentioned several times on the menu. She seemed very confused about what we were talking about, but said she would ask the cook. The tacos were good except for the grocery store type of shredded cheese that seemed to be tossed on top at the last minute(even slightly melted would have made it look more appealing). I wish we had had the same server and staff as our first visit. We both thought the bartender acted very oddly, and we wondered if there had been some special brownies shared by the employees that night. We had to remind them a couple of times for waters, refills, and sauces we had ordered, and most of them had their phones out inches from their faces. TL;DR: food isn’t anything special, drinks are inconsistent, and management might want to consider a stricter phone(and maybe drug?) policy.

This visit for dinner was the first and last time for us. The food was one step above Taco Bell. Who puts cheese on tacos?(Taco Bell). The pork tacos had a weird sauce that we didn’t order. The guacamole is bland. Service was good. Tequila and beers made it better. Tip: sit in the back by the bar — too many entitled kids on iPhones up front :)

Was anticipating the opening and took some friends for lunch today. It was disappointing. Quesadilla was dry and did not have an authentic taste. My guests were underwhelmed by soggy, bland pork tacos. Atmosphere was nothing special and prices were high and did not match quality. With Pure right around the corner, Ceviche better step it up, fast.

No too bad, but need improvement. Considering that is not a brand new restaurant(first location is in Roswell) the food /price could be better. Service is: excellent. Parking: complicated, no many options Price: $$
