Food is fantastic. Fresh, inventive and delicious. I just feel the tables and floor were dirty. I will return and try again bc the food is so good. But, the entire floor was sticky and i may not stay to eat.

I was excited to try this vegan café but was really disappointed. The food was just ok and didn’t have the freshness i expected. I ordered the Tostones and the Jamaican Jerk entrée. The Tostones were pretty good but the Jamaican Jerk was spicy which I typically like however there was not much flavor besides the spice. The guacamole which came with the Tostones was just ok and taste store bought. Overall, I wouldn’t return.

It’s amazing! Today was my first time there and I had such a great experience. The food was delicious. The vegan sloppy joe, hands down got me hooked. Their sweet tea was so refreshing and their staff was very attentive and welcoming. I will definitely make this my regular spot! I love love love it(: !

Avocado Vegan Café was a place I was truly looking forward to trying, especially for their tostones and guacamole. Go figure it was not the best because it was greasy and the powdered spice on top was too much to enjoy the true flavor of the tostones. Not to mention it was too dense and thickly cut. As a Latin/Caribbean person that grew up eating tostones and guacamole this place didn’t do it for me. I also learned that the chef cooked it in SOYBEANOIL. That’s a nooooo because that isn’t the healthiest oil nor the best oil to fry tostones in. So I suggested they at least try other options such as organic coconut oil. I also tried their avocado sandwich which wasn’t too bad and had a good flavor to it but it still wasn’t the best avocado sandwich I’ve had. Now the juices we tried were tasty. Overall it was ok but nothing over the top.

I’d give them a 4 but my portion of sweet potatoes fries were a little sad. Its not the first time ive gotten them. I’m glad I ordered a smoothie otherwise I’d still be hungry…

Nice vegan spin on some Caribbean favorites; I opted for the jerk tofu sub – yes, Yes, and YES. Everything was good from the sweet potato fries to the smoothie to the service to the atmosphere. I’ll definitely go back when I’m in the city again.

I ate here for the first time the other day, and I have to say I am impressed. I am not a vegan, just someone trying to eat healthier. I ordered the kale and avocado salad, and it was very delicious. Ingredients were good quality, and I didn’t feel grossly full afterwards. I also shared the sweet potato fries with my friend, and they were very yummy. I didn’t get to try a juice or smoothie, but my friend ordered the Choco-Latte and said it was good! I would love to go back and try a sandwich and dessert.

Just ate here for lunch with a friend and the food was delicious. We both tried the sloppy joe and it was good. I really just could have eaten the sloppy joe filling out of a bowl like chili. It’s a relaxing place that reminds you of a local restaurant in the islands. Everyone was so friendly and we could not have asked for better service. I’m a bit bummed that it took me so long to give Avocado a try. Next time I go, I’m hoping to get there in time to snag a cupcake. I get the feeling you have to get there early before they sell out. I’m not vegetarian by any means and certainly not vegan, but if I could eat delicious food like this everyday I would be.

Quality smoothie! The choco latte is rich with different hearty ingredients like dates and banana. I chose almond milk as the base. This is one of the best smoothies in Atlanta and price is reasonable, relatively speaking. I brought home the tostones and avocado. The plantains weren’t as sweet as I expected and the fried batter was thicker than I imagined. I would try again fresh in the store, rather than an hour after ordering. This hidden gem is worth revisiting if I’m in the area.

I was THRILLED to find a vegan restaurant while traveling for work(it can be a chore depending on where I am sent… you should have seen my choices in Cedar Rapids, Iowa). I like this place. I think they could dress it up and make it a bit less casual and get away with it, but it was still comfortable and the service was friendly. The free wifi was a real surprise and treat considering I had been having wifi issues in my hotel. I had the falafel sandwich and loved it — that sauce was amazeballs. The sweet potato fries made me reconsider the fact that up until the fries at Avocado I swore I HATED sweet potato fries — they’re the best ever — super glad I gave them a try. If I am sent back to Alpharetta I will absolutely swing back by Avocado!

We simply love this place. Many of the entrees I have tried are delicious. I usually get something with the Jamaican Jerk seasoning. Our little guy loves the fresh vegan cupcakes. The juice bar is pretty awesome too!

Tasty Ultimate Green smoothie and the Kale Avocado Salad was not bad but not amazing. The vegan Ranch was good and I’m not even a dressing fan. The salad could stand for more kale but overall it’s worth a try, vegan or not.

I was really excited to try this place because I’m a vegetarian! I got the vegan sloppy joe which I thought was good. The waitress said it was going to be spicy but it wasn’t at all, although still good. It doesn’t come with anything other than the bun and lettuce. Sweet potato fries are an extra $ 2. There’s a lot of choices for lunch. Somethings I didn’t like we’re the environment… It’s not very inviting inside, which I expect with a café. I met a friend here and when they turned on the blender to make their special juices at the counter for customers I could hardly hear my friend. Also the waitresses were nice but checked on us like every 5 minutes… nbd but each time did interrupt us. We really just needed one waitress. Would I go here again? Probably. But I would just do takeout.

They have adequate variety on their menu. Their dual choice of a vegan and gluten-free bread for their sandwiches is a wise idea; it is soft and tasty. Service was excellent and the place was very clean. Prices were reasonable. They do have a kids menu. I ordered the soft falafel sandwich. And the only reason I am not giving them five stars is because the cucumber(which I like) on my sandwich was so incredibly thick(like ¾″) that I could not eat the sandwich without it falling apart. It also overwhelmed the sandwich where I could not taste the falafel. When I did pick the falafel out, it was barely warm. It could’ve been a great sandwich though and perhaps they had a new cook? Overall I wouldn’t mind trying it again if I was in the area.

Loved this place! I’m not vegan, or even vegetarian, but was working in the area and had heard good things. I had the soft falafel sandwich on GF bread with sweet potato fries, which was awesome. The spread on the falafel was a nice change– light but very flavorful. My meal was plenty to keep me full, but I couldn’t pass up some fresh juice. I had what I think was called the Beetiful Glow? At any rate, it was tasty. The staff here is very friendly, and the place has a nice clean atmosphere. I also saw what appeared to be a few regulars pick up To-Go orders for the office, which seems like a good sign. Great find, vegetarian or not!

A very cute, cozy, and causal restaurant with awesome service. They serve both smoothies and actual food, but remember it’s all vegetarian/vegan friendly. If you’re wanting to dine in, grab a seat anywhere and someone would be with you. If you’re wanting to take out, then order at the counter and wait. The ultimate grilled veggie sandwich(vegan Philly ‘cheesesteak’) I had was pretty tasty. Since it was made hot on a yummy hoagie, it did look like a Philly cheesesteak. The ingredients were hot, fresh, and delicious. The additional sweet potato fries I also ordered was pretty tasty. It was paired well with the yellow mustard looking sauce that’s made in house. I don’t remember what it was made from, but I remember turmeric was one of the ingredients. Hence the yellow mustard looking color. :) The restaurant isn’t attached to the Kroger strip of stores btw if you just glance at the map. It was actually to the left of the Kroger complex. Avocado is in a complex that’s set just a tad back from the main Kroger complex. Parking was abundant since this side of the complex wasn’t busy.

Can’t wait to come back! Lovely juices & some awesome vegan food. I tried their vegan sloppy joe, with sweet potato fries, and a morning glory juice. Really loved the house made honey mustard, but watch out, it’s really runny and can easily stain your clothes– in case you’re lunching here and have later engagements. :P I think the bread they use, unless you ask otherwise, is a gluten free bread. The texture was very interesting. Tasted great, just interesting texture. We also ordered a portobello burger which was super juicy. I preferred my joe, but there was a lot on Avo’s tiny menu I would have loved to try. That includes their vegan desserts. It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been, but the girl taking our order was really nice, and small gestures of customer service added up. She didn’t need to do them, which was surprising and appreciated, since we just ordered take out. The only critique I have on Avo so far is the décor. It’s intensely sterile. The place has hospital colors, stereotypical hospital colors. It’s probably not in their interest to change the décor, but it is kinda rigid. The most sterile & rigid of vegan places I’ve been to at least. They win for vegan food for sure, and again for those sweet potatoe fries. Too good.
