All in all I made a reservation about two months before my visit. (Today) and the service was horrible. I got two rooms. One wasn’t bad. The second one was occupied and/​or not cleaned. We were told there was nothing they could do. This is not acceptable. AT ALL. what’s the point in making a reservation if this is the outcome. I wouldn’t recommend Econo Lodge.

Really not even worthy of 1 start. Trashiest, most disgusting place I’ve stayed in a long long time. The photos online make it look like a decent place. They must be OLD pictures. When I entered the room the smell of smoke and mold hit me like a ton of bricks. I promptly went to the front desk and she told me it was a non-​smoking room and there was no other rooms open that night. Although I only counted a total of 9 vehicles in the parking lot and this was at 9:30pm. I also asked for more pillows as the room with a king size bed only had two, she refused to help me. She would not even get up out of her chair to talk to me, lazy, rude staff. The shower had a horrible leak, the soap was bad, no shampoo provided. Horrible Horrible Horrible. I wouldn’t sleep here again if they paid me to. Price was too high ! $ 60 for a total crap room.

I got this hotel off of hotwire so I wasn’t expecting much. I booked it last minute and drove six hours down there. I arrived at about 3:30 am and thats when the issues started. I walk in and was greeted by super loud music being played by the front desk girl, the only words I could make out was the F-​word. She didnt turn it down when she helped me. She reeked of pot. I give her my reservation and she tells me she cant give me a room, that they ran out. Granted, there were about 20 cars in the empty parking lot that can hold 50x that. I tell her the room is already paid for and she proceeded to argue with me and finally gives me a room in a building that could double as a murder scene in a horror movie. Before I left the lobby I confirm that the hotel has wifi as I needed to get online immediately to take care of and issue at work, more attitude came from her. I get to the room and it smells, like really bad. Kinda like BO and sewage. Wifi wasnt working so I call the front desk and she hangs up on me. I end up sleeping on top of the bed spread with towels below me because sheets were dirty. I fall asleep for a few hours and get up. I go to take a shower and was greeted with the nastiest, dirtiest bathroom I’ve seen in a hotel. There were clumps of hair everywhere and a legion of bugs scattered when I turned the light on. I attached a photo of the hair and the one bug I killed. I go to the front desk to complain and they couldn’t care less. No manager anywhere, the front desk person got me the housekeeping manager and I showed him the pics. He offered a half-​hearted sorry. They said the manager would get back to me within 48 hours, never did. I called twice and the manager was never there. Stay away from this dump. Disgusting!

I would not say this is any great shakes. This is the kind of hotel that you check for bedbugs (and yes you can check people!) before you put anything down. The room was not clean, there were hairs on the bathroom floor and stains on the grout in the bathroom. But I really liked the front desk person, she was super nice, and they did have a free breakfast. Good for travelers on a budget.

just got home after 2 nights, now i have bedbugs. do not stay here!!! stay away. now i have bed bugs at home. repeat stay away! i will never stay here again. if you are wise you will stay away. you would be better off sleeping in a dumpster. i have bites all over me. horrible. this place needs shut down.

This place needs to be condemned, demolished & be done from the ground up al over again! Yes the front desk person was nice but why shouldn’t she be? It’s her job to be hospitable … This hotel /​motel looks like something out of a horror film! They should’ve been paying me to stay here… I’m still sitting in the same spot that I’ve been in since I walked in the god forsaken room… The Carpet has cigarette burns, the sheets have holes & the curtains don’t even close… I can’t leave cause I’ve already paid a nonrefundable payment but this will be the first & last time I stay in the potty hole!

I usually associate EconoLodge with the dumper end of The Choice Hotel chain. I was quite surprised with what I found. The building is a bit older, but everything worked, was clean and the staff was professional and courteous.
For those who still need to eat dinner when checking in you get a significant coupon to their restaurant. We didn’t take advantage of that because we were checking in after eating.
