Good subs and wraps! But the pizza is underwhelming. I recommend a hot or cold sub or wrap if you are ordering here!

The pizza, fries, and the tuna sub are all big winners. It’s an in and out pizza place with really good food. I go quite often and love it every time.

All I have to say is we had to order another pizza from somewhere else when we had our1st bite very disappointing and waste of money.

Pizza looks like it’s sat out all week. Kind of rude people. One guy coughed then tried to touch my pizza with no gloves and it skeeved me out big time.

I Recently moved into town and decided to try Serpico’s.After going on line to find their menue, i read these reviews .I was a little hesitant because of the bad reviews. We decided on 1 large pizza and 1 large meatball parm sub. While picking up the food we met the owner, and witnessed a lot of food going out the door. I must admit that the food was very good with liberal toppings on the pizza and the meatball sub was excellent. Enjoyed by all and i do recommend the food here.

Great NJ style pizza at the shore. Some of the fastest deliveries I’ve ever gotten while everything still remaining quality. I did have one bad experience where a new counter person messed up my order but the owner insisted he would fix it have it redelivered all for free so maybe i wouldn’t call it a bad experience.

This pizza is not very good. The crust tastes like a cardboard box found in the middle of the road after a rainstorm. And the kids working here act like they’re lost or something.

Tried to place out for the first time because I had a coupon. I ordered a Rustic Wrap and my father ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap. The Rustic wrap was pretty good(mozzarella, chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, vinaigrette) as well as the Chicken Caesar Wrap. Both came with chips in a lunch box styled box. We also ordered cheese fries, which I didn’t care much for. These cheese molded the fries into one hard shape. Overall, not bad. Would come back to try something else.

Ok, gave it a try. Want to keep a local biz in biz. Ordered chicken parm and eggplant parm dinners. Looked nice when we picked it up. always looking forward to a great saucy, gooey, cheese dripping down your chin parmigiana. Got cardboard, frozen, deep fried in old oil, chicken and the«eggplant» wound up being the veal version of the nasty chicken. No taste except deep fried, bland sauce nd over cooked pasta. I am sorry that it sucked and was tasteless. Couldn’t finish it… please take time to use real chicken. It takes 5 mins to bread it, fry it, and 5 more to add sauce, cheese and bake it. At nearly $ 30 for both, not cheap

I have been coming here for take out for eight years and have only ordered pizza. It’s decent and the toppings plentiful. The Serpico’s special is loaded with good stuff. The Sicilian pie is also terrific with a nice crust that is thick and chewy. Never once has any pie crust been burnt. The issue that prevents a higher rating is the staff. If you deal with the owner, things go well. Most of the time his employees can be a real hit or miss. They are generally not pleasant on the phone when taking the order. I regularly feel like I am interrupting them while they are doing something more important and rarely do they indicate how long it will be for the pie to be ready. I always wait a minimum of twenty minutes which is just right if they are not busy. It takes longer if they are having a busy night which one is unable to determine until you arrive for pick-up. On a half-a-dozen occasions over the years they simply forgot to make the pie and there is nothing to do but wait. If the owner is there he apologizes for the mistake and inconvenience. If he is not there you are simply told that the pie hasn’t been made yet and you must wait for another twenty minutes. The one thing that is beyond my comprehension is the variation in price. One pie I order regularly, a favorite, can have up to a four dollar difference depending on the person running the register. This is not a price increase over time but rather a fluctuation in price one week to the next like $ 19.50 then $ 21.75 then $ 18.50 then $ 22.25. I can’t explain it and at this point I don’t bother trying to sort it out. On the few occasions I’ve tried it’s like arguing with an idiot. When it is all said and done, everybody else in place can’t figure out who the real idiot is. Obviously, I like the pie and a couple of dollars is not going to bust the bank but I prefer to deal with the owner as the pie usually comes in a the lower end of the range.

Great pizza and fast delivery. Their crust is sometimes soggy but this is a rare occurrence, most of the time it is spot on. Their subs are also the best around. Their salads and entrées and also very good; though I would stay away from their clam sauce. Overall, serpico’s is my favorite pizzeria around.
