Ordered the General Tso chicken and Mongolian beef, my boyfriend got the chicken and he hates vegetables so he got his without any… I almost wish I had done the same even though I love love love all vegetables. His dish was full and plentiful of just chicken, mine came out 90% onions… I love onions but I would NOT pay $ 9 for a dish of onions and a few pieces of beef… I mean really? The wonton soup I got was the worst I have ever had… Tasted old. Tasted the way mold and mildew smell and there was only a small dime size amount of wonton filling in the entire dish… I just dumped it out it was so gross… The fried wontons were the same… Just a waste of $ 30 on our whole meal… the General Tso chicken was the only good thing, mine wasn’t bad but I can’t stand when restaurants try and screw you over by the vegetable to meat ratio… Won’t order again.

I used the Foodler online ordering option and it has paid off!(^Only 4 restaurant options for Allen which is odd. considering how large the city is) The orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken are a delight! I would recommend faster delivery service(took over 1 hour for only 2 entrees) but when we lived in Plano with a larger order – it only took them 30 minutes! I tipped well each time so I’m confused as to whether or not it matters if you go ahead and tip beforehand or cash upon delivery!!! They could use more ingredients for their fried rice(eggs and snow peas perhaps) and food was not as warm when delivered. Their egg drop soup, wonton soup and fried wontons have been a hit for my husband & I’s taste buds! All in all I give 4⁄5 stars– it can only improve!

Best sesame chicken in Allen(now that Zen Chow has lost its quality). I ordered it with no spice, but still had a little bit, I would describe mild. I also ordered Beef Cho Cho, it’s was blah… I expected it to come with sweet sauce and pineapple and cherry, but it was beef with some sort of garlic sauce. I also ordered fried wontons, but I’m not sure that’s what I received in my order which was delivered to my home. What I got looked like fried pork dumplings… No cream cheese. Not what I was expecting. Fast delivery… Would order again. Next time I will call instead of placing an online order so that I can be sure to get descriptions.

Food was rather bland. On the low end of Chinese food I’ve had anywhere. Even the mall is better.

I’ve been ordering from them for a long time, but after the last few months, the food just gets worse. I ordered something last week and it tasted/sounded like it was just hard and friend I could barely taste any of the beef. So I still had most of my meal left, and started to pick it apart. After doing that, I realized, there was no beef in 75% of my order. All they did was just fry some batter and put sauce on it. I won’t be going back.

We got a flyer at our door today and decided to order some Chinese food for dinner. We were able to order online and food was delivered in about 30 minutes. The food was exceptional and the portions were good size. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good Chinese food at a reasonable price with a delivery option. We will definitely call them again.

The Sesame Chicken was so tough I could barely cut it. I threw most of it away. I have ordered from this place several times and never been happy with their food. This was the last time.

Mongolian beef dish had good flavor, but the beef although was chewy, but not dry The lomein noodles was like others said kind of like pasta … They had some nice shrimp in there, but this dish didn’t have much flavor Chicken lomein –again pasta had blah noodles and chicken didn’t have flavor and was tough 2.5 — better flavor than pei wei, but I’d pick Panda over this

I have only tried delivery once but this place is not to my tastes. The eggrolls are wrapped in a light spring roll wrapper, the lo mein is like spaghetti and there was no ginger taste to the snowpea chicken. They also forgot my order until I called back an hour later. Then it came with no utensils or condiments. They did give me a small discount, to be fair.

Online delivery is very fast. You get a choice on how spicy you want your dish: mild, medium and hot. Ordered Szechuan pork(medium) and Orange chicken(hot). Both tasted mild. The pork lacked flavor. I’m not a fan of celery and the pork came with celery and onions. The chicken came with broccoli. All entrees come with an egg roll, which is just cabbage, no meat. Recieved 6FREE fried wontons(w/purchase over $ 15), which had some mystery meat inside. They were actually really good. The website should have been more specific on which vegetables were included in the meals. The food was fresh overall, just lacked real flavor. $ 1 delivery charge.

This place is horrible! First time I ate there was a hair in my egg roll and then I thought I would give them another try… NEVERAGAIN! The Second time I went there was a bug’s leg in my Sprite and bugs in my orange chicken! I thought I was so going to be sick to my stomach by the site of those nasty bugs! I wouldn’t even give this place a star they don’t deserve any that’s how bad it is! DONOTEATHERE! Unless you plan on having extra«protein» in your food!

Absolute garbage. I ordered online from GrubHub. I asked them to subsitute Lo Mein for the rice on my order. It clearly stated that the order was subject to additional charges based on what I was subbing. COMPLETELYFINE. The order arrives and they had given me plain noodles. I called to complain and the guy on the phone couldn’t have been more ignorant. I’ve never had an issue with this any other Chinese place I’ve ordered from. I’m always fine with paying an extra couple bucks to sub lo mein and this place apparently wanted to make a statement by giving me that crap. Not to mention the fact that the sweet and sour chicken were soggy and the chicken and broccoli was sitting in basically a pool of water. I will never order from this place again. Lousy food and beyond lousy service.

I want to preface this 5-star rating with a little ramble… I am giving out a 5-star not because I am trying to compare the ambiance to PF Changs, or some fancy steak restaurant. I am giving this place a 5 star rating under the column of delicious, fast efficient delivery quality Chinese food. Stacy L gave a pretty good testimony to her long term enjoyment of the location, and I think her review was spot on. My experience was identical, friendly staff, super clean location, great price, excellent taste, and substitutions or modifications were welcome. The cashier and possible owner was interested in making my first experience a good one, and he accomplished his mission. I will be back, often, in fact maybe again today.

I guess I really didn’t know what to expect. This place is typical American«Chinese» food. You walk up to a counter & order. Then sit down & they deliver. A Unilocaler mentioned them having sushi.. . They only have a California roll. No thank you. Not much thought & care goes into the interior of this place and it’s pretty small. I said hi to the man at the counter TWICE and he never greeted me back. Just continued to expectantly look at me for my order. I ordered the Sweet & Sour Shrimp, which was good. My mom ordered the Moo-Gu-Gui-Pen(I definitley spelled that wrong) and disliked it. My brother got the Broccoli something and finished it, but wasn’t a fan. I wouldn’t recommend it, but it looked like they had a lot of deliveries.

I’ve been coming here for a gazillion years… at least five. In Allen terms, 5 = a gazillion. Ask anyone who remembers McDermott &75 being a slow, sleepy little three-way stop 12 years ago. Anyway, Tian An Men is one of my go-to places when the husband is out of town on business. The folks there are super-friendly, the food always tastes great(to me, anyway)…and I just like it there. It’s always spotlessly clean. There’s no pretention. I’ve been to a lot of rude Chinese restaurants, and I’ve never gotten that vibe at Tian An Men. I generally get the combo fried rice(no shrimp), and either the sweet & sour pork, sesame beef, or some protein with cashews. I love, love, LOVE that they aren’t stingy with the cashews. I went crazy last time and also got the Vegetable Delight, which is basically just a bunch of veggies in «white sauce» — which I think is… MSG and water? Veggies were crisp and tasty, and I felt better about my carb and fat frenzy at dinner. A plus? They’ll omit salt, oil, and MSG… all you have to do is ask!

I eat here every 2 –3 months. Took my parents here a few days ago. We had cashew chicken, orange chicken, and crab/corn soup. I think the owner considers cashew and orange chicken to be two of his specialties. Everything was good; wouldn’t hesitate to take friends there for Chinese food. Friendly service and clean surroundings. If you want your food to be really spicy, be sure to let the waiter know when ordering. The little red mark beside the menu entry doesn’t mean it will be very spicy.
