Pei Wei is the worst place ever for ordering food to go. They have messed up every order I’ve placed, no matter how specific I make it. Just yesterday I ordered my son a kids sesame chicken fried with no veggies and on white rice. No one will ever guess what they gave him. Honey seared chicken, with vegetables, fried rice and it tasted like an old can of wet ol’ Roy dog food. I will never order food from here again.

There is delicious and then there is honey seared chicken. Don’t get me wrong… the lettuce wraps are amazing but the honey seared chicken is by far my favorite dish there. The dining experience is relaxing, the food is delicious and the soda machine is da bomb!

It’s just across the street from my new home. Good location, excellent food and fast service. My favorites are pad thai and dan dan. I am so happy this great place is so close to me.

Service was very quick and the food was great. I think there was only about a 10 minute wait for my food. Try the honey seared chicken! It’s amazing!

What the heck happened to this place? In May 2011, I gave Pei Wei 5 stars and raved about how perfect everything was. I’m guessing major change in management, but this place is going down hard and fast!!! Numerous dirty tables needed to be bussed when we arrived and there was nowhere to sit, so we pushed the trash aside and dined at a filthy table. Many tables stayed dirty and were never bused throughout our meal. And the bathroom? Used paper towels overflowing the trash can onto the floor. No lids for cups, no forks, sticky counters and floors with rice stuck to it– nobody even noticed. Our thoughts were that the manager left to take care of an emergency, so the hourly employees just let the place go. Customers searching for the ‘least dirty’ table, food runners occasionally circling around to find who ordered what, and more dirty dishes piling up in the dining area. Check out the photo of the table next to us, it never was bussed. So sad. Oh, the 2 stars? Well the food was still fresh and tasted great. I hope this old favorite of ours comes back around because we won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

This is my favorite Pei Wei! The manager is always so sweet, and it’s just a really good experience every time. The food is always how I like it, well made and they give a good amount of food for the price. Can’t think of even one bad thing to say. If you’re hungry and looking for good service, then give this place a try!

Nice location, a little more open than other locations. The food was great, as always. I tried the«limited time only» Ahi Tuna Bowl and it was really good! I’m sad it won’t be around long. :( I’m always surprised at how good their hot and sour soup is. It’s not the best I’ve had, which is expected since it’s a chain restaurant, but it’s WAY better than a lot of mom and pop Chinese places in Dallas. The service at this location was pretty good too. If you’re in the area, definitely try it out.

Food is good but I really don’t like their new process for take out. I’ve been twice in recent weeks. The last time, I almost had to beg to place an order; in fact, I was about ready to walk out when they finally decided to ask if I wanted to order(only took about 10 minutes with very few people in the place and fewer waiting in line). But the food was really good. It was still steaming hot when I got home. Their take out packing works well.

Love the honey seared chicken here(pro tip: ask for the kids portion which is plenty and saves a few bucks). Just as good as P. F. Chang’s. I also like the edamame. It is very good quality. Much better than any other mom and pop chinese restaurant. The chicken fried rice is also above average. The sushi is just okay(a little above grocery store quality). I normally order to go from this locations and they usually get my order right and it is ready when I get there.

good food quality as always, but I didn’t check my order which would have required me to open the boxes, well it turns out egg rolls are being substituted for spring rolls. I guess one should check ones order before one leaves.

For fast casual Asian-inspired food, it’s hard to find a better place than Pei Wei. Every dish can be customized to meet your palate and sensitivities. If your trying to cut down on sodium and fat, you can have your protein steamed. If you like extra veggies or meat in your stir fry, just ask! My last visit on a Friday night, provided me with a tasty Honey Seared Shrimp. It was cooked well and delivered quickly. I ran into several family friends while I was there. They must enjoy the restaurant as well The soda serving area had a few issues. There was quite a bit of spilled soda and ice on the floor. The Coca-Cola machine was missing most of the additional flavorings to which I’ve grown accustomed. But, some Coke straight up on the rocks and some sticky shoes won’t keep me from going back.

Better than great customer service at the register but I witnessed the chef in the kitchen ask his superior if the quantity of meat was enough in my original sized order… I didn’t know what he truly asked while holding up my togo container until I saw it for myself. They gave me barley any meat and rice. I didn’t order a large size for me to get the kids portion. NOT worth my $ 10.49. And the sauce was too salty compared to every other time I ordered it at other locations. I am very disappointed and this isn’t the first time…

Glorified Slop. This is FASTFOOD. Don’t mistakenly think you will be receiving well prepared food. These dishes are overpriced and carelessly prepared. The ingredients are poor. POOR. If you enjoy clean organic food or prefer thought out meals you will be SO disappointed at the $ 40 you and your friend are about to spend. DON’T DOIT. PS) This location has great service, while you throw your money away.(Really nice staff)

We have recently gotten Pei Wei«to go» several times. Each time our order has been correct when we got it home, well packed, and hot. Order taker on the phone has been pleasant and accuracy has been 100%. It’s always iffy ordering food«to go», and this location has mastered it!

Don’t get me wrong. I like Pei Wei but… if you look out the window on the entire west side of this restaurant you see a dumpster area that should be closed off. However, when I was there the gate was open revealing all the spilled food, old grease, loose paper. You get the picture. Inside it seemed that they weren’t as busy as in days past at prime during the week dinner hour. My chopped Asian chicken salad and wonton soup were acceptable. It seemed a couple of dirty tables remained unclean longer than usual. Maybe Pei Wei is losing a step or just a management issue at this location.

This was the first time my wife and I have been here. Actually we were going to Torchy’s Tacos and the line was so long we decided to give Pei Wei a try. Good choice! The gal that took our order was very patient and helped explain how to order what we wanted. The place was very clean and the staff were very polite. When we mentioned there were no more forks our server could not get one any faster. And he did it with a smile. My wife loves soup and she ordered a cup on Won Ton soup. She said the flavor was great but it needed to be served hotter. She took it back to the counter and, again, the staff could not have done a better job to make it right. They were all apologies and seemed to sincerely care that we were happy with the food. We each had entrees that were wonderful. Next time I would order the small size. The original size is a lot to eat for lunch but is perfect for dinner. So, we now have two great choices at this center. Actually three, Torchy’s, Pei Wei and Papa Murphy. All do a very good job in their particular food niche!

Great service, good food, pricey and not enough of it in an order at all. You pay a good penny and the servings are really small. I asked and the hostess said they measure what you receive now. If you are in a hurry, give it up you will wait!

I do enjoy PF Changs sister company. The great thing is they do offer a Gluten Free selection. If your going and need GF to the Spicy Chicken. If not GF the Kung Pao or Honey Chicken is also incredible. What does your fortune say?
