The Spa on Greenville

I too bought a large package of massage coupons back in 2011 at the Allen Home & Garden Show. Definitely a bait & switch sale. It’s hard to get an appointment — it’s always a month out. Yet, when I get there, there are no other customers.
The coupons I purchased did not say anything about being only for swedish massages. I like deep tissue. When I complained and tried to retract the purchase, it apparently upset the owner, Richard Anderson. He gave me my first massage which left brusies all over my back, all the time saying «I should be careful what I ask for» because I wanted a deep tissue massage. This man can become very violent so be very careful.
After my massage from Richard Anderson, the only bookings I could get were with Roberto (whom I was told is Richard Anderson’s son). The massages were not good at all — he just rubs the top of your skin. The other masseurs & masseuse’s used by my husband were equally bad.
The Spa on Greenville is also connected to the Spring Valley Wellness Center, Horizon Massage and Day Spa, and Dallas Aesthetics. These spas appear to be under the umbrella of SRA Marketing.
I picked one star because I was not able to pick «0» stars.

I came here because I got a groupon deal for a massage. Given that, I’m surprised there’s only one other review at this point. Especially since, when I called, they were booked for months before I could actually get an appointment.
I had no customer service issues and everyone I encountered was generally very nice. That’s where the good part ends.
The massages are just not that good here. I prefer a firmer massage and even after asking for more pressure it was still really light.
The guy was literally just lightly spreading oil all over my body… which, to some people may sound appealing, but was counter-​relaxing to me.
The ambiance here is also not the greatest, it’s kind of got the feel of someone’s house. That’s not to say it feels homey, but kind of creepy instead. It was like a visit to Jerry Sandusky’s house. If I wanted to get rubbed/​tickled with oil in some creepy room, I would’ve called up my own creepy uncle.
That said, I am profoundly shocked at how booked this place apparently gets. If this what the customers of this place like/​want… I will gladly lightly spread oil over your nude bodies for half the price in some creepy dark room…

Awful awful customer service. Had an appointment at 7:00pm I made from purchasing a Living Social coupon. I walked into the lobby and no one was present. Proceeded to sit in the lobby until 7:20pm when I heard someone in the back. I poked my head around the corner to see a gentleman seated and said hello. The quick response from him was «I’ll be with you in a minute». I kindly asked if anyone was working up front and the reply was a more forceful, «…I’ll be with you in A MINUTE.» I then kindly shared that I was already 20 minutes into my appointment and no one had even spoken to me, to which I received a not so friendly «I’m with a client… I’ll BE WITH YOU IN A MINUTE.» To which I replied «no thanks» and left. My next phone call is to Living Social asking for a refund. Avoid this place, how it is still in business is a mystery.
