E & K Salon

If you looking for a someone to do a great job highly I recommend that you try E and K Salon located in the Town Creek Salon. I have always found it difficult to find some that will do a good job when cutting my hair so when I found out my regular hair stylist retired in February, I started the process to find a new hair stylist well my search is over. Embry took the time to listen to how I like to have my hair, and when I left with a really great hair cut and a new stylist. Both Embry and Kaitlyn care about their clients and I look forward to my next appointment.

I’ve gone through trial and error (and error and error and error…) finding a good hair stylist with coloring expertise around the Allen area. I did find one in Addison, but Lordy, Addison is a long way away and I want to support Allen businesses. I think I’ve finally found what I’ve been looking for in Embry Maynard. She and her business partner Kaitlyn Heiberger have set up a lovely shop in the Town Creeks Salon space and cooperate by sharing the same booth space during different days/​times so that you have a range of hours to choose from. Their work space is very tidy and organized for efficiency, and is lightly decorated in a modern fashion. Embry set right to work on my hair, doing an excellent job of matching my existing color, covering the grey completely, and get this — no dye slop on my face along the hairline! I thought I always had to put up with that to get the white hair covered, but Embry has set a new standard! She also did a great trim and style. She was friendly but not gushing, politely curious but not nosy, and was a true professional. I already made my next appointment!
