I would not go back. Lack of patient care was unacceptable. Gave 2 stars because the front desk staff are friendly.

I had my lower wisdom teeth removed a week ago. The procedure went well and I have felt minimal pain although I still have some sweling on the left along with soreness. More bothersome than anything. I called the office today and was told it could take a couple of weeks to get back to normal. I relaly appreciated the kindness of the staff and the dr. I was in and out if the office in a hour or so. thank you for makng a scary procdure go smoothly.

I have not used Dr. Coke’s services so I want to be very clear on that point in leaving this review. I have; however, dealt directly with her office in regard to setting up a consultation. That said the person who answered the phone was very polite.
I’m writing this, though, so that other parents who are seeking out oral surgeons have the benefit of time saved. Be aware that Dr. Coke’s office: A– charges for consultations and B– will not state the cost of said consultation. Instead, the fee «…is between $ 70 and $ 130 and… may or may not be covered and… that cost is determined at the time of the consult.»
Said fee range was not disclosed to me directly by the way — I inquired (well into the conversation). Additionally, that’s a significant charge gap. When I asked why the cost was so high, instead of being provided an explanation of the services the charges were to cover I was told, «Actually Dr. Coke is less expensive than most.» I simply don’t find that an acceptable or reassuring answer.
Again, it is my understanding Dr. Coke is an excellent dentist/​oral surgeon. However, I want to be very clear that many times parents are trying to find both financial balance and reassurance; and, this office simply did not provide this in our case.

I’ve had a lot if dental work done over the years due to all kinds of problems. Having a tooth pulled has always caused a lot of a anxiety. Dr. Coke extracted a tooth last week. It went so well. From Dr Coke explanation of the procedure to her staffs genuine concern for my comfort, it was the best experience I’ve had. Truly my first no pain dental experience. You want to know the best in Plano/​Frisco/​Allen/​McKinney area … it’s Christine Coke and team!

Fantastic doctor and fantastic staff could not be happier … My daughter was fearful going in and they managed to calm her down and made her very comfortable … Best beside manner ever and staff is just superb… Would recommend to anyone who wants top notch quality care. Simply love them …

The sweetest smartest oral surgeon! My husband and I went there to have his tooth extracted. She handled him with the upmost care and expertise. Her dental assistant was sweet too (dark hair dark skin lady). I recommend her to anyone.

The staff are very nice and makes you feel very comfortable. Dr. Coke is great at her job and is very funny. They rock!

I recently had surgery with Dr. Coke and can not say enough good things about her and her staff. I had an implant done by another oral surgeon in the area about 2 and half years ago. Unfortunately, for some reason it failed and Dr. Coke had to remove it. This first surgery went better than I expected. She said there was a lot of infection around the implant and I had to wait about 3 months to have another one placed. I hardly had any pain after that first surgery. She placed a new implant and that surgery was even easier than having the implant removed. It all went seemlessly and the staff and Dr. Coke explained every step that needed to be done with such thoroughness that there were no surprises and I knew what to expect before every surgery. They even called to check on me the next day after both surgeries. The best part was getting a note in the mail from one of her staff (Jennifer) stating that it was a pleasure to have ME as a patient there. Talk about customer service. Dr. Coke is top notch in my book!

I am certain that my experience with Dr. Coke was unique in many ways, but in case this is in any way indicative of the general manner of the office, I offer the following cautionary tale: Today I brought my son to his scheduled oral surgery, the goal of which was to help a molar erupt. Our appointment was scheduled for 0840, and Dr. Coke had not arrived by 0940 when we left. Before the surgery, we were instructed to visit an orthodontist and have an apparatus attached to his lower jaw, which we did at considerable time and expense. When we arrived today, the nurse in our room asked us why the apparatus was in his mouth. When I said I didn’t know, she berated me for not paying attention in my initial consultation. According to the surgical plan the tooth with the apparatus was scheduled to be extracted. This understandably caused confusion. Incredibly, the nurse and office manager looked to ME (the patient’s father) for direction. I had to leave the room. My confidence in the team was eroding. It was at this point that I suggested that we just talk to Dr. Coke to clear it up. Oh, Dr. Coke is stuck in traffic. According to Google Maps w traffic there is no traffic where she claims to be stuck. Besides the point, really. Things happen. I suggested that I return to the waiting room and wait for Dr. Coke. In the meantime, I had already paid 1670.00 for the procedure so I thought it would be useful to see the itemized breakdown of the charges maybe this would shed light on what was supposed to be happening today. I requested the itemized form from the lady at the front desk. She said it was impossible to generate an itemized receipt until after the surgery. I tried to explain that I’d like to see what was planned to try to clear up some confusion. She asked if I could understand what she was saying «I can’t produce the list until AFTER the surgery.» I asked if she understood, «I’ve paid for the operation, certainly there is a list of things i paid for?» I lost that one. I was called back again by the office manager, I assumed because Dr. Coke had arrived. But no. Dr. Coke was now nearly an hour late, with no ETA offered. The office manager explained where she thought the mixup happened, and I agreed. However, I was beginning to feel very uneasy about having any of these people touch my son with a sharp instrument. I relayed my request for the itemized list to the office manager, who replied that she could produce it easily. I inquired as to why the front desk refused. I was berated again, and this discussion led to her asking us to leave. For the past hour my 8 year old has been in the chair, waiting for a very scary procedure. And now we are being asked to leave because Dr. Coke was not going to make it in time, and because the office manager felt I was being too hard on members of her staff. Did I mention that this was the second 1500+ dollar surgery that I had bought from Dr. Coke to get this molar erupted? From the first surgery, nothing happened except the growth of a cyst around the tooth in question. From the second surgery, we bought orthodontic work, then wasted our morning dealing with what felt like a terrible mix of apathy and incompetence. On my way out, I informed the very full waiting room that Dr. Coke was «stuck in traffic.» None had been informed that the Dr. was not yet in the office (nearing 10am). In light of this, I’m recommending that you visit any one of 10 other oral surgeons in the North Dallas area, and if you find your regular dentist recommending Dr. Coke, ask for a second choice

The wife had her lower wisdom teeth removed yesterday (she had her upper wisdom teeth removed back when she was a teenager) and I don’t think it could have gone any smoother! Thanks to Dr. Coke, everything has gone off without a hitch.
We arrived on time, they signed her in in just a few minutes and off she went, they started the DVD and it was Thor. 30 minutes later, they called for me and told me it was done — Thor and I hadn’t even left Jotunheim yet!
So I walk into the room where the wife is looking pretty dazed. They said she’d be like that for a couple hours and she’d probably sleep it all off.
«Get a milkshake for her to eat, nothing with seeds, later softer foods, rinse with salt tomorrow — ¼ teaspoon of salt to 8 oz water, no carbonated drinks, use the syringe after the 5^th day…» a huge deluge of information was laid on me. Followed by, «this is all written in your bag of goodies.» Oh good.
They said the tooth extraction went easily and quickly and that the wife did great. They helped me take her to the car and we brought her home, she ate her milkshake and she napped on the recliner for 4 hours. We watched a movie and went to sleep and she’s feeling great. No bleeding from the sockets.
The wife is normally a pretty slow healer so something is definitely going right.

Great oral surgeon. She actually saved me money because she thought that I should keep three out of four of my wisdom teeth. Although, she asked me to see my dentist just to make sure that her opinion is correct. I went to a different dentist (the other dentist wanted me to take all of my four wisdom teeth) and the new dentist agreed with dr Coke. Dr. Coke is nice and easy to talk to. Good staff too.
