For as long as I’ve been alive I’ve been going to the book nook. As a child my mother would bring me here to pick out a new R.L. Stine book to read. As a tween I would spend summer afternoons sitting in aisles deciding just which teenybopper magazine I wanted to take home. Now as an adult I’ve come back. Not only am I so so happy to find that this business is still open, but that it has quite a niche. I couldn’t tell you about the books at the book nook. Though the inner shelves are dedicated to them I haven’t searched much. No, what I go there for is the magazines. The entire outter ring of the store is magazines. Not just your normal fair of Marie Claire and Martha Stewart. I swear the book nook has the most eclectic selection of magazines in the state. I was able to pick up Foam, Cosmo, and FRANKIE. If you know Frankie then you know what a boon it is to find it in a store and easily accessible. I’ll be going back to check out what other magazines they have soon. I can’t wait!
