Anthony M Kassir ,MD

I am a mental health professional and I have seen a few of Dr. Kassir’s presentations. His work is very impressive. I have referred close friends of mine who all had excellent results. They were very grateful to Dr. Kassir for the treatment and to me for referring them to him. He is an excellent psychiatrist with many years of postgraduate training in psychotherapy, well above and beyond most psychiatrists. He also keeps up with the latest research on psychotropic medications and is conservative and very skillful with his use of them, if needed.
I was referring a friend to Dr. Kassir and went on his Unilocal site to get his address and saw a very negative review. Dr. Kassir is one of the finest psychiatrists in Orange County. He is a compassionate, empathetic and dedicated physician. It would be unfortunate if you allow this one negative review to discourage you from getting treatment with Dr. Kassir. I am confident that you could not be in better hands

He has a very mechanical approach to therapy. He states that I was paying for his time, when I intended to pay for his expertise. He was consistently late and yawned during sessions! I felt like I was being strung along with promises of profound change which indicates to me greed and questionable ethics. If you have time to waste and money to burn, you can give him a try. Don’t expect guidance from him, though, if the therapy or the therapist is not a good match for you. Save some extra money and time to undo any harm he might do.
