Wienerschnitzel

Came here yesterday to pick up some food for my family. It was a mistake. I understand that it’s «fast food» but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to make so many mistakes. I ordered a chili dog combo with fries… well when I got home there was no fries in the bag first of all. (Yeah, yeah I should have check the bag instead of trusting that they could figure it out). I also got a Chicago dog which I should have taken a picture of because whoever put it together did it sloppy as hell. Everything was falling everywhere and when I picked up my hot dog it fell right through the bun. Even the mini corn dogs were burnt. Waste of time and money coming here.

This place is pathetic. I ordered two chili cheese fries and they gave me two boxes with less than a small handful in each one with barely any chili or cheese. Probably because they’re too lazy to make more so they made one and split it into two. Each box was probably ¹⁄₃ of what I get per box at all other locations. Will not come again.

I notice this location has 2 profiles. hmm. a little strange. one has three stars and probably honest negative reviews while the current profile (this one) has 5 stars and 2 reviews that are obviously fakes and probably paid. how about you guys invest that effort and $$ into running a decent business?
Some tips: train your staff better and make sure they provide friendly customer service. If you have to pay them a little extra to do so then do it.
Tonight was quite cold and i have a cold so I drove 10 miles extra to get to this location because it had a drive thru. guess what? i had to get out of the car anyway. why? because they forgot to give me the drink and i didnt realize it was forgotten. so i got out of my car to go get it and guess what they didnt take my order correctly while i was in the drive thru so now they wanna charge me for it. How about an apology. how about «Let me get that for you sir.» I realize that yes there are those out there that could have made it up but c’mon the service tonight was especially slow. How about a little compensation for the already poor/​slow service?
This is not my first time here mind you. I used to date a girl in the area and between the two of us going here once in awhile id say about 78% of the time somethings missing or wrong. It had been a long time since id been to this location and it will be a long time before i come back, and it will have to be due to desperation. Next time, I would hold up your drive thru line and demand the right thing is done.

Gotta eat something and this place is the closest to my house. I love it and so does the kid so this is our go to spot when she gets outta school.

I was about to rate our local Wienershnitzel at 4 stars, but then I stopped myself. Am I even a little embarrassed to give this life long, iconic, and (1) astonishingly *reasonably priced, purveyor of hot dog (& yes, hamburger.) delicacies 5 stars?:-/
Well, now that I find myself writing this review, .no. ‚’-)
In other words, I enjoy their (2) *food. Their dedicated staff is (3) *efficient, & treat their customers with (4) *respect even on occasions when I have witnessed how their small-​ish work area, though efficiently run, can become uncomfortably hot on a hot California day.
Their selection of hot dogs, all Beef (for the flavor traditionalist) if you’re in the mood, can be substituted at an extra cost, but if you’d prefer a lighter taste (their original) can be served either plain or with the works (IE: Mustard, ketchup, relish, onion, or even sauerkraut if you so desire) at no added cost. They’ve even grilled my onions on request!:-P Their regular buns are soft, & fresh out of the steamer. My wife says ‘yes’ most times when I suggest Wienershnitzel * (5), and a delicious corn dog followed by a 99 cent root beer float (on Fridays) is one of life’s simple pleasures!:D
There, you’ve seen my breakdown of *stars. What I’d really like to point out is their employees are dedicated; and good people make for a great experience. That’s why I like this particular Wienershnitzel, and can say this one is my family’s favorite where we shall continue to frequent! :) :)

I like hot dogs every so often and of course Weinerschnitzel is the place to go to. Their menu is varied where you can get a basic hot dog, chili dog or corn dog and more! They also have combos. Drive thru service is pretty efficient and friendly. Can’t miss the red and yellow roofline! They also offer Tastee Freeze ice cream!

This review is not for the food, as I have never eaten here. The five star is for the great service by an honest employee who works here.
The story:
A friend and I came home late from an event and he was hungry. He decided to get something from this establishment, because there’s a drive thru. He ordered, pulled up to the service window, got his food and started driving away. He didn’t realized the worker was still counting the change. The worker could’ve said nothing and got away with keeping the money, because we totally didn’t realize that he forgot about the change. Instead, this honest and friendly employee screamed for him to stop and came back to get his rightfully money.
We were thankful and touched by the honesty, hence the 5 stars. Great job!

I had some coupons so my coworkers requested I go pick up some orders to go. I ordered some food to eat there which consisted of the chili cheese bacon hot dog, chili cheese fries and a drink. I thought the food was a bit pricy for what you get and average at best for the taste. My coworkers liked the food but they said it was average also. If you want real chili food items head down the street to The Hat for the real deal.

LolDinner time at Wienerschnitzel with my wife. We ordered the 5 for $ 5.55 your choice of their classic corn dogs and chili dogs. Two of our favorites we love corn dogs very much and I like the sound of the crunch and texture of the corn dog. Adding ketchup and mustard brings sweet and sour to the corn dog.
The chili dog is our favorite, we tasted all types of chili dogs like Pink’s and the Dog Haus. Wienerschnitzel
makes a very good chili dog at a affordable price.

I usually wouldn’t bother writing a review for a fast food joint like Wienerschnitzel but this location was so off its game when I visited yesterday, I can’t help myself. I ordered a corn dog, chili cheese fries burrito and a cotton candy coated soft serve cone. First of all, I was behind two other cars and the wait for the first car to least was about 10 minutes. That’s a bit ridiculous. I wonder why they don’t do what McDonald’s does and ask their customers to wait by the side if their order is taking especially long. The corn dog I ordered was super oily, more so than usual. The tortilla around the chili cheese fries burrito tasted stale and the chili was SUPER SALTY. The burrito was also kinda lukewarm; I almost wondered did they prepare it for someone else and ended up just giving it to me because the other customer who ordered it didn’t want it anymore. The soft serve ice cream had NO flavor whatsoever. Guys, unflavored soft serve ice cream pretty much tastes like cold soft butter. Some people might LIKE that taste, but it made me nauseous. The cotton candy coating on the outside was ridiculously sweet in comparison. Basically everything was wrong with the food in my order. This location is in my neighborhood so I usually go to it when I’m in the mood for Wienerschnitzel, but after this experience, I’m almost tempted to just drive farther to another location from now on. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

25 minutes in the drive through line so far… And no peanut butter cup freeze either. So very Uugghh.

The store opens from 10am to midnight everyday… its owned by a korean couple… food quality is good and you can see from the outside that they keep the store very clean… everything is made to order and everyday they have a value menu for u to choose from

I cant really boast anything else about this place since I hardly go out to this one but I noticed the menu had a daily special calendar of particular items they have for only .99 on certain dates and low and behold when I visit they have the root beer float on sale!
