First bite and now I’m hooked! The hot dogs are really good for several reasons. One being you have the choice to either create your own or order one from the menu. Once you decide on the hot dog, you have to throw in some tater tots for those in between bite breaks from the hot dog. Now the other amazing part is that they actually put the hot dog wienie and toppings inside a Hawaiian bun! You know? The Hawaiian bun? The rolls you get for Thanksgiving that you just can’t get enough of? Well guess what? You can get a nice toasty one as part of your hot dog. After that it is just taste from there. Every bite matters and will please your hungry belly! To make it even better, they bake cookies there! Sadly, I was too full from the hot dog so I wasn’t able to try them but next time, you shall read about the cookie review!

El Savage here with another review. This place should be in the food hall of fame. Like burgers on Kings Hawaiian rolls? That’s just genius! Everything is just great here. But my go to is definitely the little mule. You take a bite and the egg just drips down your hand and face. You look like a savage biting into it, while people walk by you staring at you while they’re on their way to the gym.(LA Fitness is right next door). They have tator tots as a side! They have a huge selection of fountain drinks and beer! They also have boxed water for you damn hipsters. Oh and did I mentioned their white chocolate macadamia cookies? They’re soooooo good! This place is just perfect. Who ever dislikes it needs to be punched in the throat.

I ordered the Another Night in Bangkok sausage. It was delicious. Great flavor in the peanut sauce, crisp and fresh slaw, and perfect spicy heat in the sausage. I highly recommend. My only regret is I ordered it with a soda instead of a nice, cold beer. Next time I’ll definitely enjoy one of their brews with my dog. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and loved it. All three kids ate well from the kids menu, too! Good family place!

They have some unique hot dog/sausage combinations and every single one looks just as mouth watering as the next. I was really excited to try this place out on my recent trip to SoCal. We happened to choose this location and dropped in for lunch. It was pretty empty when we came(Friday noon/afternoon), with only 2 other groups of people there, but I’m not sure if that’s always the case. The establishment is also quite spacious with outdoor seating. I decided to share one sausage and one side with my boyfriend and it was very filling. I suggest sharing if you plan to save room for something else, like dessert or drinks. Here are the items I was able to try: PIGANDTHEFIG — cheese-stuffed sausage, fig-onion relish, wild arugula, sliced almonds, whole grain mustard aioli //Pretty good if you like a sweet & salty combination. It leaned on the sweeter side for me as the fig relish was a tad overpowering. Glad I tried it, but looking forward to trying something else. THELOVEBOAT — choice of fries or tater tots topped with haus chili and haus slaw //I chose tater tots… because tater tots. This was so good! The tots had a crispy crunch to them and the added flavors/texture from the chili and slaw was perfect. I would come back just for this alone. The slaw on top was my favorite part, I highly recommend getting the slaw by itself if the tots or chili don’t interest you. The haus-made slaw isn’t overly drenched in mayonnaise or diced up into micro chunks. It really helps break up the heavier flavors, perfect over the chili tater tots or with a hot dog. For those living in the South Bay, a Dog Haus location is coming soon to Fremont’s Pacific Commons, yay!

My fiancé ordered some food at doghaus because we thought we wouldn’t get there on time to sit and eat, my fiancé ordered the little mule with an extra patty and I ordered the sooo Cali hot dog. We drove there as fast as we could and actually made it on time to dine in, the cashiers were very nice to us when we were paying for our food and we got our food very fast and it was very nicely packed in very aesthetic packaging. The food was very fresh and they had put some condiments in the box as well, but we ended up dining in. Our food that we ordered was absolutely delicious, my fiancé, who’s a ketchup fanatic loved the curry ketchup they have at doghaus. He also loved his little mule, the amount of food is just perfect for him and is also very delicious, the little kink that was wrong with the little mule was that he doesn’t like avocado and he forgot to tell them to take it out, but other than that it was exceptional. As for me, I loved my sooo Cali hot dog. Loving onions, spinach, and avocado the sooo Cali had all of it. We were in the restaurant a little after they had closed but they were so chill about it. Not rushing us and still giving us the best customer service. Doghaus is a very trendy and stylish restaurant you foodies could go to if you guys haven’t already. The amount of food is just perfect in every serving and the service is superb. :^)

I love the flavors that they have for this place, although I wish the hot dogs were more filling considering the price I have to pay. If I’m hungry, I would have to get a hot dog and a side if I want to get full, although I’m sure that’s just how their marketing is. They have a wide selection varying from hot dogs to sausages to burgers and sides. If you’re not feeling any of their preselected combinations, then you can also build your own. They also use hawaiian bread as all of the buns, for both hot dogs and burgers. That way, it’s easier to divide into pieces. I got the Cowboy, and it’s soooo good, especially for those who like bbq. It has one of their signature hot dogs with bacon, white american cheese, crispy onions, and bbq sauce. They don’t really skimp on the toppings either. The hot dog was wide enough that I had to use a fork and knife to cut it up into smaller pieces in order to pick it up to take a bite out of it. The french fries were crispy yet thick enough to get the mushiness of the potato. Their tater tots are popular too, so you can’t go wrong with either. In fact, I haven’t really seen anything that anyone hasn’t gotten; I’ve seen all of the items on the menu being ordered. I’ve also tried their chili cheese tater tots, and they were pretty delicious. The only thing about it though was that I wish that they had added a little more chili and cheese. There was only enough for the tater tots that were touching but there wasn’t enough to be spread to the tots on the bottom, so I was just left with regular tots on the bottom. I really like coming to this place and I am going to come back again so that I can try all the other combinations. You can’t really find anyone who does hot dogs the same way that they do here.

I decided to try out something new tonight at Dog Haus and made my own corn dog with the andouille sausage. I was trying to replicate the spicy corn dog at the Corn Dog Castle at California Adventure. I think my experiment was a success and I got my spicy corn dog fix without having to pay Disneyland prices. I made it a combo with sweet potato fries and a drink. My eating partner got the spicy Italian customized with jalapeños, caramelized onions, spicy aioli and a side of tots.

You know. I’m surprised at myself for giving such high ratings for this place, but honestly I really liked it! I’ve taken many out of town family members and friends here and everyone raves about the food and wants to return when they are in town. If you are a hamburger/hot dog/sausage fan, you really owe it to yourself to try this place out. Their burgers are juicy, with creative/delicious toppings, while their sausages/hot dogs are also amazing. I’ve tried so many things on the menu and have not been disappointed in any of them. I usually just get the cheese burger or the bratwurst sausage because I like things simple, but my friends/family enjoy the little mule and freiburger very much. As far as sausages/hot dogs go, there are so many different combinations it’s definitely down to personal preference. They also have veggie options which is awesome.

The Biergarden in Pasadena has a great ambiance with the music and the games and the seating, but the one in Alhambra has it’s pros to. First of all, the food is just as great at this location. There is plenty of parking. The best part of this location is you get all the perks without the wait. It’s great if you are picking up an order to go, or grabbing a quick bite, rather than trying to get your buzz on. We ordered the tater tots, as usual. They are crispy and hot, as usual. They taste great with the curry ketchup at the sauce bar. We also got the Das Brat and Holy Aioli. Das Brat has a bratwurst, caramelized onions, sauerkraut, white American cheese, spicy brown mustard on King’s Hawaiian Rolls. It was tasty and saucy and well balanced. The Holy Aioli has a 1⁄3 lbs Angus ground beef patty, white American cheese, caramelized onions, smoked bacon, with garlic aioli, also on King’s Hawaiian Rolls. I could use more garlicy flavor on my aioli, but it was still yummy. I will be back.

It’s so Freaken HOT in here! I know it seemed like the hottest day but man. The fans don’t work to cool you down. Kick up the AC. I’m sure that’s why only a handful of people were there at that time. To hot to go out and to hot to go to a place that isn’t cold. So let me tell you about the food tho! We ordered. Ava Maria– my favorite! Mushrooms, grilled onions, cheese, patty and Hawaiian bread. Holy aioli– bacon, white American cheese, caramelized onions, patty, bread and garlic aioli. Another one of my favorites! They have a parking space but I think you share it with the gym next door. Food is great but not when it’s hot outside it’s HOT inside.

This is my first time at Dog Haus. Came in on a Saturday for lunch the place had a good crowd. The environment seems cool and hip. The staff is great and friendly. We got the Sooo Cali, The Hangover and the Chili cheese tots. I am not a fan of burger and hot dogs but the Hawaiian sweet roll made a big difference. Every thing taste great and I love their hot sauce. I will definitely be back. PS. They even give my son a free soft cone ice cream after his meal :) Totally not expected. What a great 1st time experience.

Not being a huge lover of hot dogs I went with the veggie burger and tater tots and loved both! Love how the buns are buttered and grilled, tots fried perfectly, all good! Prices and portions are super fair and the food came out quickly. Great set up, very clean space, tons of options to chose from, I’ll have to be back for more!

I always drive past this place and hear good reviews about them. Pretty ironic how this«unhealthy» establishment is located right next to a LA Fitness gym — they even share parking I believe. Came in around 1130 on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. Working greeted us and were friendly. Before I dig in into the items I tried, I must say that the idea of using King’s Hawaiian Bread is pretty smart. The bread holds up to the ingredients and has a slight sweetness. Sooo Cali: Wild arugula, spicy basil aioli, crispy onions, avocado, tomato. Too many ingredients in my opinion so it gets a bit messy — but a pretty tasty ess. Definitely recommend this one for avocado lovers. Old Town Dog: Smoked bacon wrapped dog, caramelized onions, roasted jalapeños, chipotle mayo, cotija cheese. Everything fit nicely inside the bread so it wasn’t as messy as the Sooo Cali Dog. It had a nice kick with the roasted jalaneños. Chili Cheese Tater Tots: Wow. Best thing we had here. Crispy tater tots with nice gooey, melted cheese covered with chili. Pretty bomb and you should definitely get this! They have a sauce bar that has Curry Ketchup and your normal condiments.

Some people are burger people and some are HOTDIGGITYDOGPEOPLE! THAT’S ME! When we moved from Miami one of the first places that we kept on hearing on everyone’s lips was Dog Haus! Luckily for us we live near this particular location! Upon arriving, 1– I thought how freaking funny that they put this right next to the L. A Fitness! lol! So smart to get all those hungry hippos trying to turn their life around and exercise and then bam you are hit with the delectable scents of a hot dog Disneyland lol! Luckily for me I was not going to the gym and my soul purpose was to stuff my face with hot dogs and tater tots! They have a great selection of dogs and add ons, but as a self proclaimed sauce connoisseur, I was blown away by their variety of sauces and the fact that they had an open condiment bar in the outside public area! Whomever’s idea it was to replace the normal hot dog bun with toasted Hawaiian bread, is a genuine genius! I often eat the toasted top edge of my Hawaiian buns before getting started on my Dog Haus Dog! Typically we order their bacon wrapped hot dog that includes grilled onions and bell peppers, this is an ode to the L. A «dirty dog»! We love that they have this dog because we don’t have to wait till the weekend and go all the way to the bar club scene in L. A Hollywood areas to grab ourselves this particular treat! The tater tots are good and crispy but their portion is definitely too much for one person to finish. I highly suggest sharing this dish and not let all those crispy little tots go to waste! The cheese is good but not anything to call home about, so I haven’t ordered the cheese on top since the first time. The décor is a clean and slightly industrial with a bunch of industrial picnic like tables and a couple of high top tables. They have a couple of medium largish flat screens, on which they are usually playing whatever sports game is on at the time. One of their little customer surprises is that they have an old school arcade machine in the back! They serve a good range of unique beers for those old enough and inclined! Love Dog Haus!!! p.s they now serve Fosselman’s vanilla ice cream on a cone. So worth the extra calories!

Dog Haus been poping up in different areas in the past few years. I just remember the very first location in Pasadena. This place is located right next to LA fitness. I remember, when this place use to be Baja Fresh. The LA Fitness always seen to attract some unhealthy food options. Thank god, I don’t go to that gym cause I would reward myself with all kind of goodies from this place. Especially when it comes to Tater tots. My hubby ended up getting the build your own hot dog for $ 3.99. You can add extra meat, toppings for an added charge. My hubby just wanted ketchup and mayo. All hot dog are all-beef skinless dog. I think we asked and it is kosher. The hot dog has a really good flavors. The sweetness on the hawaiian buns went perfectly with the salty hot dog. I ended up getting a burger. I remember enjoying their burgers more than their hot dog at the other locations. I got the holy aioli. The holy aioli had smoked bacon, white american cheese, garlic aioli, and caramelized onions all served on a hawaiian bun. If you cut the burger, it can turn into four mini sliders. Everything was good. I actually enjoyed the hot dog more this time around. Service was good. Everyone was super nice. It was kind of slow at the ordering part but we got our food pretty quickly. Tons of seating indoor and out.

The burger with the fried egg was good but after a couple bites it was sort of too much for me. I felt my heart slowing down lol it was very heavy. I also tried the soooo Cali– not the business. Something about the arugula and fried onions wasn’t coming together. It just tasted wring to me. The avocado was weird and it was missing flavor. It was pretty disappointing. However, the tater tots with the slaw on top was delicious! I would go back just for this the next time. Also the root beer float was delicious!!! All in all I think I need to be wiser with my main menu choices next time go with my gut rather than ask the cashier what’s the best seller. I’ll try it again. Also a really cool hang out spot with friends. The tables are rustic industrial. It’s spacious and has good ambiance.
