We ordered pizza from here an we were not impressed. The sauce was way to sweet, the crust was hard as a rock, and the cheese was burned. We will try it again and if we have a better experience I will definitely change my review but for now 3 stars is all I can give.

Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Excellent flavor, not greasy at all. Very small wait time and friendly service

Excellent, excellent pizza. This is better than Rosati’s, Giordano’s, Nancy’s, Sal’s, and even Aurelio’s and Wayne’s. I would ask for extra sauce in that if you have leftovers, the sauce kind of disappears overnight in the fridge. Definitely my go-to for pizza in Algonquin.

We had one good experience here, and the other 3 went horribly bad. We ordered our pizza uncut, and they cut a portion of it before they realized it was to be uncut. Rather than make a new pizza, they delivered the partially cut pizza, which was a mess when it arrived. If they say 55 minutes for delivery as the maximum time. .. count on an hour and half. The pizza is good…the customer service and delivery times are horrible. We’ll stick with Lou’s, Lakewood from now on!!!

It’s hard to go wrong with pizza. Old World is a nice place to try if you’re looking for something a little different from the usual. What makes the difference to me is the sauce. It has a bit of a different flavor than most pizza sauces. We had a thin crust, which was nice and crispy, and we hope to try their thick crust next time. We also had some fried zucchini, which was pretty good. We love Sal’s, but Old World will also become a regular pizza spot for us for sure!

Thin crust pizza has a slightly thicker crust than most, and has a nice balance of sauce and cheese. The sauce is delicate and not overpowering and the cheese is just cheezy enough to enjoy. Crust lovers will definitely enjoy this pie, and those that don’t each the edges(imagine kids) may not be thrilled. (clever hint for parents) We quartered the center pieces and dished those to the kids and they loved it. We did delivery this night, and also ordered some jalapeño poppers. They were soggy and fell apart. We would definitely order the pizza again, perhaps not the poppers.

I ordered a thin crust pepperoni and stuffed crust pepperoni. Old World is a good description of the pizza here. It has a very different taste than other places around. They do not use a sweet sauce it has a robust oregano and basil flavor. The thin curst is not very thin but it is good not the best but not bad. However if you love thick dough then you must get the stuffed piazza it is amazing. It is basically two deep dish pizzas on top of each other. It is thee thickest pizza around and truely a site to see. I would call it a the«kneeler» cause one piece will bring you to a knee. The sauce is good to. Warning — it is an old world flavor not sweet which seems to be the current trend. If you want something different try this place. If you want to showoff order the stuffed. Takeout only(I think)
