The best burritos around. Flavorful, huge, and good prices. I will definitely be going back.

Average Mexican food at a good price. It never seems to be too busy, and it seemed fairly clean. I had hoped to see more of a variety in salsas. The chips were below average. I enjoyed the Al Pastor & Barbacoa, and would definitely recommend this place if you do not want someplace like Taco Bell.

This place is definitely one of my family’s favorites for Mexican food. There steak tacos really hit the spot and the rice & beans are on point. We used them to cater my husband’s 30th birthday party and it was a complete hit! Everyone loved it and the people that helped me with my order were extremely nice and helpful… great place to go! :)

The food here is so good! It’s nice to actually have some good Mexican food that’s more on the authentic side. And they have really good options for vegetarians. I absolutely love this place.

Was looking for a quick bite after a movie and found this little gem. We had been to the location before when it was a salad place bur this had a very different vibe. It had a really nice ambiance for a taqueria. I order two steak tacos and my wife(who was not real hungry) order the child’s burrito. We also ordered chips and guacamole. All was really fresh and really tasty. The staff was extremely nice and the place was pretty packed. Next time we want a taco we know a good place to go

Great place for authentic Mexican food. First, we were greeted promptly at the counter by a very friendly young lady with a smile — always a plus! It was my 1st time there and she was very patient while I skimmed the menu for carry-out. Food was prepared fresh and quick. You can actually see the cooks on the grill preparing the food. Everything was absolutely yummy… my son & I devoured it! We ordered the taco trio and quesadilla. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in here Satuday for the first time. The dining area is a bit cramped, and although i realize it was fairly busy the available tables were all pretty dirty. The food was good, nothing special. It was about what you would expect from any other similar Mexican place as there are literally dozens within 10 miles of here. I will probably return, but next time i may opt for carry out.

Really good place. If you realize that Taco Bell is fast food versus a Mexican restaurant then you will like this place. They will not give you a burrito and taco in 2 minutes but you will get good that is memorable in less than 10. Loved the Huaraches with steak — should have split it with my wife — and found it to be a meal I would have eaten again that evening. Their spicy sauce is killer(the green one). There is a citrus flavor to it and it is hot but not overwhelming. You will see a lot of people who come in and they are not packed but not lacking business. I got a kick out of my conversation when ordering because I, obviously, do not know authentic Mexican food. The person taking my order was very patient and helped me through a menu that was vastly different than I was familiar with from before. This is now on my list of where I want to eat when I need something fresh, unique, and authentic for Mexican food.

Great food, slightly more expensive than similar restaurants in the area but well worth the extra for eating in a place that’s clearly meticulously maintained. I don’t know about you but I like my food coming out of a clean kitchen.

Finally tried this new mexican restaurant on Randall Rd. Loved the Huaraches with steak and got it cantina style(free extra toppings). Warning, this is big enough to share for lunch unless you have a big appetite. Ask for their spicy sauce. They give you a squeeze bottle of this green sauce that’s so delicious! Very authentic atmosphere and very flavorful big portions. Definitely great bang for your buck!

We ordered one of each taco– the only one that had a half decent flavor was the steak but it still was not seasoned well. The hot sauces weren’t good either, that had a very strange flavor to them as well. The chicken quesadilla was good but not good enough to justify a return visit. I’ll stick with Paul’s in Barrington!

My first time here today. I ordered the chips and guacamole, Guacamole is decent, small order is perfect for one person. I also ordered the steak torta: very good, bread is moist and fresh. I suggest you try their hot salsa(green sauce) it’s very good. They have good service and clean restaurant.

I was a little worried by the up and down reviews of this place but decided to brave it out. I ate there on a Wednesday for lunch. The restaurant had a good amount of people waiting for their food but the staff did an excellent job getting everyone their orders promptly. I ordered the steak taco dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious and the salsas were Bueno. The restaurant has an industrial, modern look to it with minor Latin touches. I will be back.

I really had high hopes for this place after reading other reviews. To me it tasted like average Mexican food, nothing special. I had a ground beef tostada and a guacamole tostada. The guacamole one was not on the menu, I made a special request and they accommodated to it. I did really appreciate that. The place is also very clean which deserves extra stars right there.

I used to be their favorite fan. However, lately they have resulted in less than acceptable tasting food. You can put up all the Mexican themed wall art and like you can hire as many Hispanics as you’d like however if the food is not to par then I cannot be a customer. This is the third time I’ve been back there and their food and quality has reared its ugly face. I simply went in for a $ 6 burrito. I don’t know if what they gave me they call a burrito but it was disgusting. Disappointed

Fast food Mexican at its finest here! The restaurant is clean, the service is great and the food is savory. What more can you ask for? We ordered a taco salad and nachos. There was too much food for just the two of us to eat. Our taste buds were telling us to eat more but our bulging bellies told us to stop! I will be back for more!

I dig it. It’s easy for places like this to get lost in the shuffle much like the Chicago hot dog/beef places that are everywhere, but I truly enjoyed my burrito from El Fuego. From the outside, it’s perhaps easy to miss, but absolutely worth trying if you haven’t already.

Found this place a couple of weeks ago and have been back many times. The food is so good – fresh ingredients, well seasoned meats, and elevated flavor with them! I have had taco and king burrito with pork, steak and chorizo, love them all! Hochata drink is great too. Highly recommended!

The burrito I tried was packed with meat. I got the Asada burrito and was surprised at first because it was a bit juicy and there was some juice at the bottom of my basket. However, the flavor and amount of meat made up for it quickly. I would recommend this place for good Mexican food. I’m from Los Angeles and know good tasting burritos. Not to mention I’m kinda picky about my food. I got this burrito without sour cream, but I’m sure if you like it it’ll be just as good. I wasn’t planning on coming here, I just happened to see it on my afternoon walk so I’m glad I did. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think if you’re eating in, they should add some chips to the burrito order, just like Baja Fresh does.
