Buffalo Wild Wings

Service is always so slow. It takes forever for your waiter/​waitress to get to your table. It takes forever to be able to place an order. It takes forever to get the drinks. It takes forever to get the food. It takes forever to get the check. On top of all of this your waiter/​waitress is always never to be found when you need more napkins or a refill. This place is full of snails and extremely disappointing service, truly giving this place one star should be a blessing for them because there is a no star option. That’s truthfully what they deserve is zero stars.

I called in an order tonight at 6:18 (checked iPhone time stamp). First, the order was taken wrong, but that could be cell phone issues and not being able to hear. No biggie because I was close and fixed it when I got there. Got food at 6:50, but my supposed plain cheeseburger was a fully dressed hamburger. By the time I got the new burger it was 7:08. And by the time we got home (5 minute drive) all the other food was cold. It was a really bad experience. Now, I know everyone can have an off night and the reason I gave them 3* tonight, and will give them another chance later, was because Scott the manager personally apologized to me and comped my entire order. That was great customer service. The experience was bad, but Scotts actions saved him a customer in the future.

Called in to place and order and was on hold for 5 min just to get picked up and hung up on… Worse customer service ever.

We came in on a Thursday which was pretty busy, well my friend had to go somewhere so we couldn’t eat our wings @ bdubs! But they where nice enough to bring us the wings to go! Highly satisfied.

Meh. Waited forever for some wings and fries despite it being a wednesday night. They ended being cold and tasteless. The only good thing was the server who was very friendly. Highly overrated restaurant.

Spent over 50 for kids meals and snack wings served in paper trays. We expected it to be busier on a school fundraiser night, but clearly others knew what we were going to learn. Used to love BWW but something happened to their food and this last time we visited was literally our LAST time we will eat at BWW. I agree, the quality of the chicken served is awful. It’s so much crispy breading that you don’t even find much chicken. My celery was clearly rotten and soft. Total letdown for all of us. Drinks have been good but food is just bad. I’ll take Buffalo Wings n Rings down the road ANY time over this place.

Was here with my 6 year old son on JAN 2^nd. It was a Saturday around 4pm I believe. It was fairly busy as live games were on TV. Our server was a short very pretty blond with tattoos. She was very pleasant and attentive by all means. My only pet peeve was that our table was so close to the entrance. I like sitting closer to the TV’s but it was busy so no harm no foul. I will come again as I’m usually not out this way but maybe sometime in the summer.

You stop in for a beer on a Thursday or Friday and you can’t get into the bar area. All bar tabes filled with young kids. Then when you finally get seated and order food it comes out cold and you sit there with an empty glass. It’s a very poor run business

Was there last night. Bad news. Initially they brought out the wrong meal for my wife. But as for me, I got the sandwich below. It was dry, no Cajun creole sauce on it. Half way through, finally asked the waitress for some on the side. Also asked for the coleslaw, but she said it didn’t say that it came with coleslaw as she was looking right at the menu. What? I copied it right from their menu (see below). Waitress did discount sandwich because she said she had to argue with the cook for the side of creole sauce, thus delaying us more. What? What’s up with the cook? Touchy temper I’d say. God he’s a Chef all of a sudden?! We did tip her 25% of original cost of the meals, but probably shouldn’t have. Won’t go there again, and we frequented that place.
BAYOU PO’BOY

Despite having only 2.5 stars we made the poor decision to give this place a try. We had low expectations walking in so how bad good it be? Yikes, it was terrible, enough so that the 1 star minimum rating is overly generous. If I was starving & my taste buds were numbed with Novocain, the wings could maybe, on a good day, pass for mediocre.
The quality of their chicken is as low as it gets, most of the wings were oddly misshaped unlike any wing I’ve seen before, others had most of the bones splintered. I hate to say it but after a few tries, seeing how deformed they were made me think of those terrible documentaries warning of mass produced chicken eating their own waste.
Even if you could get past the sight of them & the chewy texture, they tasted like FISH (even soaked in hot sauce) !!! The fries also tasted like FISH which is scary since I didnt even see fish on their menu.
How about the burgers & sandwiches? Thin grisly patty straight from the cafeteria that even the dog would take a pass on, the chicken sandwich the waiter hyped up ended up being the same nastiness as the wings (except w/​o the broken bones).
The good news? The ice tea was not to bad, the service was OK, & I know we’ll never have to go near that place again.

If there’s a game on, expect a crowd and a wait. even if you get there early.
The service is just alright; not the brightest people working there in all honesty. And. to apply and work there you need to pass an online math and reading test. I don’t get it. But it’s bdubs.
My classic favorite is the Buffalo seasoning boneless wings! Parmesan garlic are great too. Chips and salsa, classic appetizer. The warm spinach artichoke dip is amazing. served with pita chips, could be better with pita bread but good never the less. The steak wrap is also fantastic. Mozzarella sticks and fries are yummy too! Classic, good traditional American place!

Worst experience ever, as soon as we got in the found a table we waited like more than 10 min no server came to us, my husband went and talked to a manager which he didnt even have a job as a manager in my opinion he asked like 3 servers to assist us and they all seem to ignore the manager we felt like invisible there he didnt even serve us we ended up leaving this place I saw like 10 servers or more, some of them standing there doing nothing never coming back to this location, rude and the manager didnt even apologize so shame!!!

First of all this is a buffalo wild wings… Im already coming into this with low expectations. All I wanted was some wings and a beer… Which is why I came.
I’ve currently been waiting 18 minutes for one snack size order of bbq wings. There are 5 tables in here… One consisting of myself and my boyfriend, and two other tables of staff members that just got off work. Our server is really nice… But our bartender is currently behind the bar eating some wings himself. It would be nice if after waiting almost 20 minutes for a snack size order of wings, (in an empty restaurant) I could also be eating some wings.
As a local restaurant manager, I am personally appauled at the idea that someone of corporate caliber could think this was an acceptable experience for a guest. It’s unfortunate that a server so friendly was let down by such an unprofessional team and obvious lack of a manger who failed to be seen.

Walked was told 15 – 20 min for a table. Been here 45 now and still not seated! People walked in 10 minutes ago went rite in and were seated instead of 3 other sets of people! Very very pooooor service! Evidently this is a trend among BWW stores because it seems they all have horrible service!
Finally got seated 1 hour after being here and now after I sit down I notice my shirt sticking to the back of the chair. wing sauce on the back of the chair that I didn’t notice before I sat! Boy oh boy this experience just keeps getting better. With I could go negative stars…
Let’s see how the food turns out. Well unfortunately the order got a little messed up. But the wings were fine and the celery and carrots were too. not even an apology from anyone! Worst customer service ever!

Our family had an impromptu celebration last night. Our freshman son’s baseball team finally won a game this year! (1 – 25 record.) We’ve been to this BWW before but never had Dana as our server. Seriously, she made all the difference. Friendly, attentive, happy and helpful. Thank you for hiring her and keeping her around. Dana is a gift to B-​Dubs in Algonquin. If you’re hungry or thirsty Friday-​Monday, ask for Dana’s section!!!

Worst Buffalo Wild Wings ever. Every time I go there, the servers are rude and nasty. One server, Lisa, once threw our celery down on the table as she ran away and the celery went all over the table. The servers don’t acknowledge you’re even there, take forever to take your drink orders, don’t refill your drinks, don’t check up on you, and are just outright rude. But I’m gonna talk about two experiences I had in particular:
The first, me and my friend went here for some drinks and wings. It was a thursday and the place was pretty dead. We each got two bloody Mary’s. The server, Natalie, was rude the entire time. We couldn’t even get her attention because she was sitting at the bar talking with her friends. When she brought us the check, she had overcharged us for the bloody Mary’s. The menu clearly stated the price, and instead of asking a manager for clarification for us, she proceeded to argue with us and tell us we were wrong and that was the wrong drink. That didn’t even make sense. After arguing with us for a few minutes she goes «I’ll go ask my manager but I know he won’t do anything» and stormed off. When she came back, she said her manager adjusted the price and she had the worst attitude about it. She then stormed off again.
The second incident happened about a week later. Tired of the rude servers and bad attitude they always have, my friends and I decided to order take out to avoid that. Boy was that a mistake. We ordered 18 boneless mild wings, with ranch and bleu cheese, and potato wedges with a side of cheese. When my friend came back from picking it up, they had given us traditional MEDIUM wings, and French fries not the wedges, and no bleu cheese or ranch was given to us. So I called them and explained the mess up, and the woman told us to come in and she’d remake our order and give us a $ 10 voucher. So we went back. When we got there, they had made us potato wedges with cheese on them (we specifically said cheese on the side twice now) and they had given us boneless wings with medium sauce instead of mild. Aside from the look and the smell of the wings where you could tell they were medium, there was a sticker on the box that said «medium» on them. The woman took the wings in the back and placed a «mild» sticker slighter over it where you could still see thru it. We told her several times there were medium, and she said they were mild and she didn’t want to remake them. So we left that night after wasting an hour and gas, only to end up with the wrong order.
I went back one last time a few days ago, and the table behind me had a hair in their wings and it was the grossest thing I’ve ever seen.
Overall, this place sucks. Their servers are the rudest people imaginable. If you wanna go waste a night of getting treated like garbage, then all the more power to you. It sucks because this is my favorite restaurant. Ive never had a problem with the one in crystal lake or south Elgin, it’s only this location. They need to clean house desperately

I’ve been to a bunch of Buffalo Wild Wings locations, but I’m partial to my neighborhood Buffalo Wild Wings.
It’s got plenty of seats, a great bar area, and great, consistent service.
I’m a big fan of the Spicy Garlic and the Caribbean Jerk sauces and recommend traditional wings vs. boneless. I’ve seen others order things like salads and burgers, but I don’t think you should waste your time.
If you’re looking to enjoy a game with the company of local fans, come out here, have a beer and some wings and don’t treat this place like it’s supposed to be some classy restaurant. I may be a little generous giving this place 4 stars, but I’m not just in it for the tasty wings… I know that I’m going for the loud, social ambience, the video trivia/​poker, and the hyper overload of dozens of televisions flashing sports highlights.
When I’m in the mood for a night like that… this is the perfect place.

Well, usual BWW — we ordered some wilder wedges and a medium basket of boneless wings (18 pc) — but the chicken was good, not really good — not sure if they were breaded properly because it kept falling off (breaded part). We also got a couple of drinks.

I know what I’m getting when I got to BWW. The best part about this place is the consistency. Whether I’m in Algonquin, IL or SLC, Utah, this place is always A-​OK.
They have a large selection of ice-​cold beers on tap and about a million TV’s to watch all the sporting events.
The wings are great and they have lots of sauces to choose from. The fries, salads, burgers and other menu items are good, not great.
Service is usually prompt and friendly. No complaints.

We are frequent customers of numerous BWW. We like to play trivia on Tuesday and Thursday nights. We like that the draft beer selection rotates with the season. We like that they try to offer other wing sauce options. If u missed it, Sriracha was amazing. Skip the Bourbon Honey Mustard sauce. Meh. On Tuesdays, traditional wings are 60 cents each and they are very good sized. The veggie boat is also a great deal for $ 1.99. Sometimes it seems like they have produce supply issues bc the carrots and celery are just not robust and up to snuff.
Love the Lemon Pepper wings too. Dry rub, Not so messy.
They are advertising a new nacho plate that i want to try…
