Babies R Us

Its sales associates named Alana is very thorough and knowledgable. She was so patience with us and managed to address all of our concerns and questions flawlessly. She even helped us with the registry and walked us through their introductory booklet page by page (unbelievable). She was willing to spend about 2 hours just to be with us and told her we feel bad for her to just entertain us, she reassured us that’s her job and nothing to worry about. I would definitely recommend Alana at Babies R Us in Algonquin store to anybody who needs a walk through and guidance for first time parents. She is very friendly and helpful.

First time leaving a Unilocal review ever. But the customer service here is so terrible I had to. I called ahead to make sure they would honor a buy buy baby coupon and was told yes. Got there and they refused to honor the coupon and the girl was rude on top of it. Terrible customer service and a waste of a trip out to the store when I am 9 months pregnant. Will drive further to go to Buy Buy Baby since they WILL honor a Babies R Us coupon and their prices are better anyway.

Terrible customer service, staff is clueless about basic products and their locations. Too many managers standing around.

You don’t need a receipt if you have the credit card! I bought an outfit for my son and then for Christmas I received the same outfit. BTW the outfit was Babies R Us brand ‘Koala Baby’. I figured since it was their brand I could EXCHANGE it for the next size up. SAME outfit just bigger. Nope! Not w/​out a receipt! I can’t exchange? So I said can you look up the receipt with my credit card — they had to call the manager over and the manager yelled at the clerk for telling me they could find my purchase with my credit card (I guess they don’t want anyone to know that). The manager proceeded to treat me like a criminal for having to look up my purchase «what’s your phone number? What’s your address? When did you purchase this?» I was waiting for the them to take me around back to whip me with silly putty. Needless to say I got the outfit exchanged.
