Vocelli Pizza

First trip to DC and my sister suggested Vocellis, I really like to try local food when I’m out and about, helps me to understand the culture, we ordered several different pizzas for take out, a white chicken pizza, a Philly cheesesteak pizzas and a sausage and pepperoni pizza for carry out. The pizzas looked and smelled amazing! They were all tasty but the Philly cheesesteak pizza was AMAZING! The dough was really great soft with a great texture. Toppings were fresh and delicious. Def will be coming back to this place again the next time I’m in town!

I had Vocelli’s delivered to the hotel on Ft. Belvoir. They said it would be there in 30 – 45 minutes and it arrived in that time period. Pizza was hot and tasted fresh. Vocelli won’t blow your mind but its easily on par with Papa johns and dominos (maybe a little better but its all a matter of preference). Solid pizza.

This pizza is always the best in the area for take out. There is always a deal and the pizza options are vast. Great place!

I work near Fort Belvoir. Whenever we are in the mood for some great pizza near by we always order it from Vocelli pizza. Our favorite is the sausage and pepperoni pizza. The sausage is sweet and the Pepporoni is spicy. We always pick our pizza up.

Ordered online. Food arrived fast for a Friday night. Delivery guy was friendly and careful with our order. My wife liked the chicken parm sub she had and the original crust pepperoni pizza I had was great. Will order from here again!

Worst experience EVER on a website. Can’t enter phone # from our iPhones (it’s required) to get delivery. Store doesn’t answer their number on the menu (repeated calls). If you are wondering why you don’t get any online orders, look no further :-). Called Little Caesar, and got someone immediately. Will never try this company again, unfortunately, their food sounded good.

My wife and I have eaten here multiple times with no issue. Then once as she was eating she noticed something chewy, and pulled a small rubber band out of her mouth. She asked me what it was and I looked at her pizza and pulled out another rubber band. They were small rubber bands from braces, I called to explain to them the gross item we found in the pizza and they said «it was impossible». They tried to say it was just cheese… it was literally rubber bands. I found several more when I inspected the pizza. I got my money back after arguing with a manager. A week later I get berated by phone calls from the stores owner about it, telling me «oh that’s just the cheese». Listen here you butt fucking Brady bunch rejects, they were RUBBER BANDS. There is no mistaking small brown rubber bands. My wife made herself throw up the pizza and you know what popped out? A small brown rubber band!!! We are Americans, obviously we’ve eaten pizza multiple times throughout our lives, we know the difference between cheese and fucking rubber bands you mongoloids. You are a business, when something is legitimately wrong you investigate, apologize and move along, not call me and my family several times, wake us up and tell me some bullshit and even say «your voicemail is too long so I don’t leave a message». Fuck you vocelli, you are now no better than comcast.

I just Unilocaled about another location so I just want to give credit where credit is due. This location is the first Vocellis I’ve been to and their food is always excellent. Plain cheese pizza is absolutely delicious, Vocellis pepperoni rolls and Tuscan chicken salad delicious as well. Never had a problem with customer service either. They have always been very nice and courteous. I have since moved and for delivery I had to go with the Rose Hill location… Bad idea. Rose Hill is awful. I will drive to this location to pick up my Vocellis from now on.

I’ve never had a bad experience with the food or service. The pizza and subs are fantastic and the delivery time is quick.

I ordered a pizza online for delivery to my hotel room. It came fairly quickly and it was delicious!
The crust is the perfect mix of chewy and crusty. The sauce is well flavored, the cheese used is tasty, and they use little pepperonis that get nice and crispy. It was not greasy, even though I ordered double pepperoni.
I will definitely order this again while I am in town. I would order it all the time if I lived nearby.

Good food but did a pre-​order for food delivery for an office for 12:15… 12:25 and no Food in site. Not using them again for a corporate lunch… 12:34 no food

I have been ordering from here for years. I’ve only had an actual pizza once, and didn’t really like it. I keep going back for their strombolis they are absolutely amazing. Their wings are good as well and come in a variety of flavors. I’ve had their cheese bread before and the amount you get is about the size of a small pizza. Depending on the day it’s good. Some days it has a tendency to be over cooked and the cheese is hard. You never get the amount of cheese you would if you ordered from Pizza Hut. I also like their chicken (forgot the exact name) salad. I do spend a good amount of time pulling onions off because of the amount they put. This probably could be avoided if I asked for no onions.
Every time you order they tell you the wait is 50 minutes. It doesn’t usually take that long. The only times I’ve had it take that long is when their is a new delivery driver and I assume it’s because getting to my house isn’t easy. All of the delivery drivers I’ve met have been pleasant and the food has been hot all but one time.

Their thin crust is really good. The buffalo chicken thin crust pizza is great. Only con, they don’t do a margarita pizza. They don’t even know what that is. Odd, and that’s what I really want.
They have fast friendly delivery to mt. vernon and take credit card. I’m not as big a fan of their regular pizza, it’s a little bland for me. The salads are on the small side, like 1.5 servings. I got the chocolate cake too, which is pretty blah, but I appreciate chocolate delivery. Worthwhile!

Vocelli used to sell decent pizza at slightly higher prices but compared to Pizza Hut and others it was worth the added cost. Lately the pizza is just average. I don’t order other menu items so I can’t comment on them. The coupon specials were decent.
Now the customer service just seems to bite. From the order takers cashiers to delivery. Up to including management.
There are so many pizza options these days it’s a shame to patronize a chain so poorly run.

I love pizza however few warrant a review. This is only my second review in my life. I whole heartedly give Vocelli’s pizza FIVE stars. I called for a large cheese pizza to go three miles away in the car and my pizza was ready to go about 2 minutes after I got there, staff was super friendly. However, I place less importance on customer service than I do the actual product when it comes to food because I’m actually consuming it. However, customer service is important. The cheese pizza was divine. The cheese was perfectly browned, and perfectly chewy. You can tell they use the best quality of cheese. I am now officially converted and will be back again. I ordered a large which was a smidge smaller than I expected but honest to goodness worth every penny. Order an extra large because if you don’t you’ll really wish you had.

Ordered a couple large pies for carry out. No in house dining. They have specials on their website. Actual price is a buck less than advertised. We ordered one of their gourmet pizzas (combination) and one pepperoni. Great flavor and great crust. Family and me enjoyed it. This is our New go to place for delivery and pick up. Highly recommend it.

Very unprofessional!!! I asked a few questions about toppings and I was told by a manager I was asking to many questions and I can’t place a order. I have ordered from this place many of times and now I see the management is very bad!!! I will no longer order from here again. As a vet and a paying customer I should not have been talked to like that. Please beware!!!

I’m over Vocelli Pizza. They used to be the only pizza place that wasn’t a big chain, and they stood out. Now that they have competition, they can’t cut it.
Delivery time is too long and when I have done carry-​out, the people have been less than courteous. As far as the pizza, the sauce is very sweet and the cost far outweighs the quality of the food.
