Crappy nasty place… Blood on my sheets that was not mine… tired to get clean sheets or a different room and they could not accomendate… Was force to leave cause Im a heart patient and almost passed out from walking in the heat(The local 7 – 11)… made it in the office and asked for some cold water and was forced to buy it from the vending machine instead of giving me a cup of water… Assholes… Their reason? they didnt want to be resposible for me. They couldnt give me another day till my ride was back in town. not to mention the two crack dealers knocking on my door looking for a robert at three am… I’m not a robert… it’s not worth the money… if you are hard up, looking for a cheap room, Brookside is much better… better WIFI too… Oh if you do stay here… shake out your clothes and bags before you leave, ROACHES

No Stars! DONOT stay here. I received a stalker/sexual phone at around 5:20am. The person knew what color and make my car was, and he inquired if he could speak to the man in my room. He wanted to know if I was alone after all in the room. He even knew what room number I stayed in! The front desk DENIED I even received a phone call as they«would know» because they have to transfer the call into my room, whether they called from the outside or inside the complex. He also said they«can see» with«a camera» when I said I slept with a chair bolted against the door INSIDE my room. The front desk changed his comment to say there was a camera in the hallway. The front desk said I can call 911 but they won’t do anything because it was just a phone call. When I said I will call 911, he said he will come out to escort me out to my car, as this was my original request. However, At this point, I felt completely unsafe and did not trust the front desk, since he denied I even had a phone call. I called the police!!! I didn’t read the reviews or look at the pictures before I bought two nights. The office refused to give me a full refund. DONOT stay here!!!

I paid 69.99 for one night but honest to god the bathroom was disgusting! That place is so run down, good internet but not so good in the back rooms. Cable was fine. The bed was gross and the linens makes you feel itchy! But for 69.99 that what you get

You get what you pay. I stayed at this location before. Two double bed in a small room that look like it only room for a king size bed. Room is located in the back of the motel. Restroom small. Microwave with a not matching plate in side. Refrigerator barely keep the food cold. Just around the corner from the ice machine. Free coffee in the lobby. It ok but only thing there room with a over coming with smoke. ===USTODATE=== Cleaning not doing well in the room. Under the bed not being clean. Even I found two used condoms in the room. One under the sink and under the bed. Customer service at the front desk nice. They clean it up right away. If you only be there at the night go. Before taking the room. Check it out before taking the room. I’m not coming here again.

At the end of a long Memorial Day, I went looking for a place to stay the night. Not wanting to pay high dollar, I stopped by the Relax Inn. Nothing but smoking rooms available there. Next stop — the Virginia Lodge. Probably a pretty nice place in it’s day, this is nothing to write home about. I was hoping for a nice Mom –n– Pop motel, but instead got a motel past it’s prime. The bathroom was updated and didn’t look too bad, the sink area outside the bathroom was also nice. Under the counter top was the cut-out where they used to put kleenex boxes and you could grab-n-go. Checked out two non-smoker rooms and settled on the second one. Both had previously been smoking rooms, as the smell lingered. The rooms were clean, but that smoke smell … ! The beds had pretty stiff inner spring mattresses. Flat pillows — either use two or fold one over. Towels were no longer soft and fluffy — just clean and white. Charged $ 65 for the night, with a $ 5 discount already applied. I should have used one of the hotel coupon apps and stayed at a better motel for a little more money. I won’t be back for a return visit.
