The UPS Store

I use (or used to use) this UPS store all the time. Today I went in to ship a package of donated breast milk and the guy behind the counter was SO rude to me. Just stared at me when I walked in, no friendly greeting. Tried to tell me that I couldn’t ship in the cooler that I had it packed in, even though it was an Omaha Steaks cooler that I had received via UPS. He was just very rude and condescending to me. I was already emotional because of the reasons behind sending the milk so I couldn’t take the way he was treating me. I picked up my package and walked out crying. In a little bit I called the store to complain to the manager about the way that I was treated, only to learn that it was the manager that I had dealt with in the store! If the manager treats customers that way, then there is no hope for this place. I have currently reached out to UPS corporate about it so we will see what they have to say. I’m SO disappointed. (and now I have to find another way to ship this milk).

Nice kids, very helpful. No complaints. Weird customers, though.
Seriously. Lady, you get a notification that a package can be picked up on Eisenhower Avenue and you come here instead? Sheesh. Amazing how these kids stay chipper and pleasant.
