SOSAD this location closed!!! I really hope that they re think the decision and open back up, or at least another location close! :(

Extremely sadly, this place has closed. I understand private equity firms(like the ones who own Peets now) are extremely cost-conscious. But i wish they had given this one more time. People were just beginning to discover it and the community is in need of a hang out. I hope they realize their mistake and come back in a year!

I am glad to see other java choices in this neighborhood besides Starbucks. Peet’s has great coffee, teas, specialty drinks and great food options besides sinful pastries such as salads, sandwiches, fruit, and even hard boiled eggs! The staff is incredibly friendly, unlike Starbucks and always greet you when you enter the store. The store is spotless and has an inviting ambiance with plenty of room to spread out and work or just chew the fat. My only two issues was the service was a little slower than expected for a coffee joint and that could annoy people in a hurry, especially in the morning. They are well staffed — I just think that they are just getting the hang of running the new establishment and speed will hopefully pick up. Also, they need more gluten-free options.

This is presumably the same as other Peet’s. I’ve ordered the coffee online, bought it in stores, but had never been in a shop. Brand new, grand opening’s next Monday, but they’re open now. Cool place. The coffee’s beyond belief. Fantastic. Extraordinary. The staff is too slow for coffee on the way to work– They’re polite and personable and friendly, but just not moving fast enough. I’m imagining that if this place develops real lines, they’ll either need to have better chops, or have others that can move faster. Or, once they’ve been open a few weeks, they’ll be on it. The dark roast is good enough to make me choose it over Misha’s when driving to work. Better than Starbucks. Yum.
